“I wouldn’t normally write a review about a gym, but this place is fantastic! Mostly due to the awesome staff. Every single person I’ve encountered has been so friendly and helpful! Notably Woody (manager), Samson (he sings), and Sophie (lifeguard), but so many more too. I was initially nervous about being a newbie (unskilled) swimmer, but I feel very comfortable here. Highly recommend!”
“I love this store! They had to move because of construction at their old location, but I think this new location on Winnebago is even better. They have the best fair trade items! I’ve purchased candy, soaps, cat toys, cards, coffee, tea, and snacks as gifts and for myself. I love their jewelry so much, I can barely leave the store without buying something. They also have beautiful clothing, purses, candles, dog toys, and more. I’ve bought so many Christmas gifts there! Seriously, check it out.”
“Great place to donate baby gear, since goodwill and st vinnies don't accept anymore. Donation accepted in back of strip mall, the front parking lot was quite busy last Tuesday night with folks making pickups of equipment. You get donation receipt for taxes if you like.”

“Dave and his team at the Goodman Community Center are phenomenal. Our staff at Complete Weddings + Events rave about working events with their team. Rooted in community, they have a TEENworks program, which is an employment and leadership program for youth ages 14 to 18, where students learn a variety of job skills, earn industry certifications like ServSafe, explore career paths, and gain hands-on work experience. Thank you for what you provide our local community! We can't wait to be out here again working our next event together.”
“I'm so impressed by the food pantry and employees here. I've used it a couple times, and they are organized and friendly. They have options for pre-made meals, pantry items and fresh produce. It's a great resource for the community when people are struggling.”
“We held our wedding at ALNC in September and absolutely loved the experience! The natural beauty of the nature center makes for a wonderful backdrop for the ceremony, and we loved having access to the trails for photos. The staff of ALNC went above and beyond on the lead up to and day of the wedding. The other thing we loved about ALNC was knowing that the proceeds of our wedding would be going to help promote education in our local community.”
“My cat got diagnosed with diabetes recently. They have been so helpful! Their communication is good. Them being a low cost clinic is also sooo helpful! They helped me find other cheaper options for his insulin. They sent me handouts of different types of safe foods for him, that were cheaper. They also had extra syringes that they were willing to donate.”
“The clubhouse is kept clean and safe. There are 4 large meeting rooms. Plenty of parking spaces. Whole coffee beans are ground each day and coffee is delicious. Soda is also available.”
“My recent experience with this store was a very good one. What made this experience so memorable was the interaction I had with Ms. Ellen. Ms. Ellen has a very calm personality which is an excellent skill given the chaos you’ll experience with the management team.In my experience, I felt like I was chasing after answers but no one knows what’s going on. Ms. Ellen on the other hand, looked at the situation, and calmly took control. Many thanks to her and other employees like this.”

“Intake worker was patient and understanding of my situation. Provided my family with needed resources. Very helpful. God bless people like her, and thank you CAC for helping people in need.”
“I've worked here twice - once as a home support worker and once as a supervisor. Every gig has it's ups and downs, but I truly loved my tenure there. The agency deeply cares about the community they serve, and about the staff they employ. I am proud to be associated with them.”
“This organization is amazing! They are very particular and go to great lengths to match the perfect service dog to the person, according to their disabilities and needs. Custom Canines Service Academy is very thorough, understanding, and care about the needs of veterans with PTSD. I would not recommend another organization in the country before them. They are the best!”
“The selections here are numerous and diverse, and based on multiple visits, their inventory also stays fresh.
Arriving early is recommended, as they do get busy later in the afternoon.”
“I can’t say enough positive things about these wonderful attorneys. Amanda and her team went above and beyond to get my claim fully favorable after several denials with various paid attorneys failed to achieve that result. Absolute professionalism and even so far as to offer to help with groceries for myself and child while awaiting SSA decision. Thank you so much!”
“Excellent organization for information and assistance regarding housing rights. Rental, legal, etc. Contributing to social justice, conflict resolution, economic equality.”
“My kiddo just did the Prairie Music & Arts Summer Arts Camp, and LOVED it. He's a bit shy, and I was wondering how his serious personality would do... but he LOVED it. He came out smiling and fully of energy after every day of the experience. There was such a cool integration of arts, self-understanding, and creation. Will sign him up for it again.”
