βJust bought a new car and needed to transfer my insurance to the new car. I called as I was driving to pick up the car. She told me I would need the VIN number, so told her I would call her back once I had it. I called when I got home and gave her the VIN number, answered a couple questions and we were done. Easiest part of buying a new car. Thanks for making it so easy!!!β

βWe had USAA insurance until October 1. Weβve had American family in the past. USAA was good, but was getting very expensive, and American family always seemed like they wanted to short us.
I shopped around quite a bit looking for both HOME and auto insurance with about four or five different companies. C4 seem to offer the best answer answers to my questions and the best options. Itβs not the least expensive insurance, but what matters is how they respond when you have a claim. If you pay a low premium and then you find out that you have to fight to have them cover you, itβs not worth it! Service matters to me. Hopefully I found that with C4 Insurance and I am now with the Erie Insurance company, which has excellent ratings for handling claims. I should save $2000+ this year!β

βMatty has been our agent since our previous agent retired several years ago. We have been very pleased with the service ever since he and the Scher agency took over our policies. He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. Our calls are returned promptly and he explains complex language so that you understand what the policy says and intends. He reaches out before you see an increase letter to talk about why the change is coming and if available, discusses the options for mitigating the price increase while still keeping the coverage needed and wanted. We are so pleased to hear that he has taken over the agency. We know that we will be in excellent hands going into the future.β

βInsurance can be complicated. It is great to talk to a real person that can explain options. I was ready to leave AllState because I couldn't get answers through the corporate website or calling the corporate 800 number. Finding a local agent that took the time to explain options and details, as well as ways to save on my insurance, saved me from having to change insurance companies.β

βWe just transferred our insurance to Rural Mutual, after 50 years with another company. We were told by our agent that we would need to pay a $65 annual member fee. When we went online to pay for this fee it showed payment amount due as $70. We called Customer Service and were told that the member fee was $65 but they also add a $5.00 donation on the amount that is due. We were told we could edit this amount to $65, which we did. We feel that this is deceptive. If the company is looking at donations beyond the member fee it should be noted as such on the online payment site. This is definitely a red flag for us. We never had this kind of deception with State Farm. I would ask that Rural Mutual be more honest and upfront on the added $5.00 donation fee on their online payment site, and list it as such.β
