“I stumbled across Double Oak Pharmacy around 4 years ago by accident and its turned out to be such a blessing. They have been willing, able, and knowledgeable in providing top-notch service. It really does have a “hometown” feel. The staff knows me and my family by name- they really do care about me. It’s refreshing to not be “just a number” or “just another customer”. Whenever I have a medical question or need guidance on my health, I have been able to rely on their knowledgeable staff. It’s so hard to find businesses like that nowadays- and it’s even harder to find a pharmacy that compounds (with very reasonable prices!). My family and I have been so blessed to have discovered Double Oak and I don’t plan on ever switching. I’d give them 10 stars if google let me. Give them a chance, you won’t be disappointed ??”

“I happened upon Kessler’s here and was taken back to my childhood. Had no idea it would still exist. In the late 50’s and early 60s my sisters and I would walk 3 blks from our house to go to Kessler’s for a special soda they would make for us at the soda fountain. Watching them make our sodas, either vanilla coke or one called Pink Parachute which was cherry juice and 7 up, I think. It was magical for my 5 yr old self.”

“The store itself is great and everything seems to usually work. Busier sometimes more than othes, but usually because people can't follow directions and come in the wrong way. Then they get blocked or try to go out the wrong way as well. It's not like there are signs and arrows everywhere!”

“This week has been exhausting. I can not thank Spencer and Nikki enough for all they have done to help us after my dads Covid diagnosis. I will always believe Spencer saved my dads life when he encouraged us to get him back to the ER after his oxygen levels got low. I am eternally grateful for a staff that answers a call at any time day or night to help their clients. You won’t get this type of service at a chain drug store. Thank you for everything!”

I called to make sure they had the RX, yes they had it so I had my doc to send it to them because none of the pharmacy in Tuscaloosa had the medication. I called to make sure they had it, wasn’t until I got back from getting my car serviced at Hyundai in Bham when I got home, called again and it was ready. So I had to make another trip but it was worth it because no pharmacy had it here in Tuscaloosa at the time. Friendly staff and very helpful.”
