“This is the best gas station in town! Andy, the owner is super nice and Twilla and Sam are awesome! Twilla is the heart of Hoover and everyone who visits the store absolutely LOVES her! Couldn’t ask for better service! I don’t go to any other gas stations anymore because I feel safe and know that I will have a friendly and fun stop! My dog June gets so excited to “go for a ride “ to see Twilla. She is the best!”

“I needed to call in a prescription, and we were having trouble finding a pharmacy open on this Easter Sunday. Fortunately for the patient in need, this CVS was open and very helpful in getting the prescription filled. An added bonus was how friendly the pharmacist was while taking care of the order. “After a nice lunch at one of the many lunch spots in Vestavia, we decided to take little walk. My stomach started to turn and I needed to use the rest room and fast.This shell station had a huge confidence store inside with a large array of snacks for the road. Everything from the classic chips and jerky to gummies, candies and a f real ice cream machine. I can't comment on the gas prices, but the inside of the store was clean, they had huge drink coolers with everything from water to beer. The bathrooms were very clean too which was an extra perk. Couldn't leave without buying at least so,etching so I decided to get a smart water before leaving. Overall experience was easy breezy.”

“4 stars bc I’m never disappointed, but a star off bc I’m here quite a bit, but only seem to ever see one person in here busting his tail (Beard, glasses, longer hair), trying to do everything himself. I’ll see him later at night and early mornings. He’s really cool and helpful, but where are the other workers?I’m just wondering bc I’ve personally been in work situations where I’ve gotten taken advantage of, constantly working other people’s shifts, etc and I can spot the signs. Get some people helping this dude out. I don’t know if he’s the manager, but even managers need help!Hope this guy’s getting paid what he’s worth and you don’t ever lose him bc it looks like he’s all this store has.”

“CVS has consistently provided exceptional customer service. On May 27th at approximately 4:30 PM, I visited the Hoover Pelham location on Chase Drive. The attendant who assisted me was exceptional. Despite my usual visits to the store for evening orders or shopping, her kindness, smile, and overall demeanor made my day memorable. She is undoubtedly one of the most remarkable strangers I have encountered in a long time.
I believe she holds a managerial position, and I regret not remembering her name. I hope that anyone who reads this review recognizes her. Her actions significantly improved my day, and I sincerely hope she is aware of the positive impact she had on me.
CVS should recognize and reward such exceptional customer service. It is not only about assisting with products or services but also providing a personalized experience that can transform a challenging day. “This is considered Walgreens Galleria. It is ridiculously busy. We used this Walgreens about 4 years ago, then transferred prescriptions to the old Rite Aid at Hoover Commons. We loved it, Walgreens bought out that store. Then they suddenly closed with a little notice, in February 2024. So now we are forced to return to the “Galleria Walgreens”.
Joy, One of the Veteran pharmacists that was at the previous Walgreens, the one that closed is now working here. She may be there part time or maybe she floats. I am unsure, but she is AMAZING! It is so nice to see a familiar face and someone who knows you. She is very personable and helpful.
Sometimes they’re just too busy,. The customer service is usually decent. I’ve had a couple of times where I’ve been hung up on, or placed on representative hold, many times when I’ve called and had a genuine problem with the app, not letting me refill a prescription that I could see, it was just tell me it was at a store that was no longer open. And short of going there myself, you must call.
So there is a disconnect between the app and this store. The app stinks. It is not very reliable. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
At any rate, I would give this store a 4/5 on Customer service. They are helpful, it’s just really hard to get through. I miss the short waits, Familiar faces, helpful and friendly staff at our other Walgreens.
And for that reason, I may transfer our prescriptions somewhere else.
I can’t complain because they always have my medication in stock. They can’t help that they’re very busy. So that’s the only complaint I have. I guess busy is a good thing, but they’re only human. I suppose it gets a little crazy working at a place where the drive-through is always five or six cars deep. And there’s usually a line inside as well.
If you use this, Walgreens, I would suggest you just park and go inside. Drop off your prescription and come back later.
I used to get my prescriptions filled while I waited about five minutes at the old Walgreens that is now permanently closed. Those were the days.
I don’t mind waiting, I don’t mind dropping off. But you have to go at a time like 3 o’clock in the afternoon. Avoid Early pick ups, Avoid the lunch hour 11-1 and by all means avoid 5 O’clock rush-hour. Go after 7 PM if thru week.”
“Had to use the Ross Bridge Walgreens to pick up a last minute prescription my teenager forgot to fill before leaving the country. Our Walgreens was out of stock but tracked down who did have it and asked them to fill it. I was very thankful they had it ready so quickly!! Great job Walgreens!”

“In my past experience this pharmacy NEVER answers the phone, and they are terribly unprofessional in-person and in the drive-through. HOWEVER, after 55 minutes, Joy (manager) assisted me by checking the system found my medication at another location and called the pharmacist at that location personally. Earlier that day, the Ross Bridge Location, and the location near Hoover’s Aldi stated they couldn’t check the system. Joy was awesome, she went above and beyond.
My God, she was awesome!”
