  2. Kimbrels - 5886 Mud Creek Rd

5886 Mud Creek Rd, Adger AL 35006

    4.9 Superb 78 reviews

“I'm straight up flabbergasted, I came to this place on the recommendation of someone living in the area. When I tried the double cheeseburger from the deli kitchen in the back I was gobsmacked on how good it is. The patties were thicker than a bowl of oatmeal but when you chewed into it you didn't have to fight for your life to get through it. The patties internal structure was light and the flavor punches your tongue as if I was in a boxing match with Mike Tyson. Needless to say I'll be coming back for that burger again.”

“Publix usually earn a 5 starfrom me, but this one has problems with their produce. Too often I find produce that is severely bruised or moldy. And I've had several cut fruit bowls have a significant portion of the fruit that is not yet fully ripe. I really like Publix and I'll continue to shop at this one... just not so much for my produce.”

Yellow Label Syrup... originally made in Birmingham, Alabama, but now produced in Montgomery, Alabama. They, like Golden Flake Potato Chips and Barber Dairy, should have stayed in Birmingham. *****”

104 River Square Plaza, Hueytown AL 35023

    4 Good 90 reviews

“I've been coming to this store for over 20 years. Prices are reasonable, always have a good selection, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. My only criticism is their chicken is not always the best, particularly their boneless chicken breasts, which are sparse and often not very plump but flat and sometimes tough. But their ground beef and steaks are usually very good. Pork is good there too. Decent produce department, too. They are the ONLY store in the area that had my wife's favorite cereal, Raisin Bran with Cranberries. If there's ever anything you wish they carried, you can just tell the Manager, and they'll try to order it for you the next time they get resupplied. Very responsive to requests. I like that. I will continue to shop here & I recommend it”
