“I purchased a gaming laptop and they talked me into purchasing the 2 year protection plan as they sold me on the "once per year computer cleanup service". Fast forward to a few weeks ago, I took my laptop in for the 2nd free clean up. She checked my computer in, did all the normal stuff, then told me my 2 year service plan expired 2 days ago and that they would charge me. So obviously I took it back. I guess why I am writing this review is that she didn't even try to like, make an exception - it's so petty to me, I didn't ask, I didn't make a stink about it.Why this is bugging me is because I always viewed memory Express as like, "the smaller company" and I always felt like I should support it. To get talked in to buying this 2 year warranty and then being denied a simple service, 2 days after it expired, is pretty heart breaking. The funny thing is, I would have had it in the week prior but the person I talked to said to bring it in the week after as they wouldn't be able to get to it for a week. Just thought I would share this and caution anyone against this 2 year warranty/service package thing and to make sure you use it no matter what.UPDATE: The store management got ahold of me and kindly allowed me to bring my laptop back in store to get my warranty service. I am just beyond appreciative that Marcus made an effort to try and help out. We had a great and honest discussion - sounds like normally they would have just honored it and this was a one-off experience. I was really disappointed because up until this, I always had such a great experience with Memory Express. There is nobody else in the city that I would trust with my computer(s). I’ve gone to other locations and all they’ve done is switch out the SIM card for me and it still didn’t work. Today Karan was patient and called the Koodo tech people and worked on my phone until I got 5G network. Even though the store was quite busy today Karan was patient and courteous to not just myself but to other customers ensuring that they will be helped soon. The whole team from what I observed was very helpful and professional.”

“Through Vistek, I picked up an entirely new camera setup for an upcoming extended travel trip (5 months overseas with a toddler). My priorities were to travel as light and compact as possible, while maintaining the best quality and versatility to capture/document anything and everything. Needless to say, this is a challenging endeavor but the staff at Vistek we're all very knowledgeable with recommendations, and incredibly patient while I went back and forth with my decisions on what to buy (this went on for several weeks). Additionally, they gave me advice on selling my old gear and helped me get the shutter count to do so. I will be supporting Vistek 100% for the foreseeable future as my customer service experience was truly a night and day difference to what I experienced at the main competitors, and I strongly recommend that you give Vistek your consideration as well. For context, I moved from a Nikon Z7 setup to the Sony A7Cr.”
