“I would like to publicly acknowledge the efforts of Christa (I believe she is the store Manager at Rona St. Albert).
I ordered a snowblower from the Rona.ca website and paid for it. However, I received a call from Customer Service at Rona St. Albert saying that they cannot sell the unit since it was a display only unit. When I asked to speak to the Manager, I was connected with Christa who told me that while, normally, they would not sell a display unit, they would do so in this case. I agreed and thanked her. However, after a couple of hours or so I received a call from her indicating that the unit was defective and they could not sell. She volunteered to transfer my order to the Calgary (Crowfoot) Rona to which I agreed. They were to ship the unit to my house.
After some time, I received a call from the Calgary (Crowfoot) Rona who indicated that they could not ship the unit and they cancelled my order. When I touched base with Christa, she agreed to look into this. She got back to me and told me that they would have a snowblower brought in for me from another Rona and that I could pick it up in January 2, 2026. Then, on January 1, 2026, Christa called me to inform that the snowblower had arrived at the Rona St. Albert store. I paid for it an picked it up on January 2, 2026.
While this is a lengthy review, I wanted to ensure that Christa was properly acknowledged for the efforts she took to procure this for me. I am sure that everyone will agree this was truly beyond what was expected of her--she could have simply apologized and ended the matter. However, she took it upon herself to ensure that the original sale (through Rona.ca) was honored. Thank you Christa and Rona St. Albert.”
“If you need parts for anything, check this place out first. We found springs for our closet doors here, after looking everywhere for weeks before we found out about this place. The staff behind the counter is very helpful.”
“We recently purchased Emtek door hardware from Spec hardware, 10 glass knobs and 12 Norwich knobs, all in polished nickel. Navi was very helpful in advising us on our purchase. Our order arrived promptly. During installation we discovered that 2 of our Norwich knob’s were faulty. We contacted Navi and she immediately handled the issue and ordered new knobs. The new knobs were here in 2 weeks. We love all our door knobs! We are grateful to have a small business here in Edmonton with such a large display of merchandise. We were able to view everything in person before ordering. We will definitely return whenever we need door or cabinet hardware. Special thanks to Navi.”
“Jennifer was incredibly helpful and kind, running back and forth to the warehouse to find hardware for me, and when they were out of stock of the knobs I wanted she spent 15 minutes with me looking through other options. Jennifer deserves 5 stars, however the store gets 4 due to their limited supply of hardware.”
“They had exactly what I needed and the gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful with helping me pick the right product. Definitely would recommend this business to others who need flooring/carpeting supplie!”
“Was in the westend location 120 st…Trevor and the other workers all seemed very happy to help…I saw a nice work environment for the employees, really well done.”

“Gloria helped me out and she was super friendly and very helpful, KMS Tools has a fantastic store with anything you need and if they don’t have it they may be able to order it in for you.”
“Great place for all purpose things. I've found so much here from arrow heads to animal traps. Go karts and mini bulldozers. Even a 430cc sawmill! The help is ok, the front staff is quite good and there return and exchange policy is second to none. I highly recommend going here. I've even found Tails light bulbs for a VW passat. There is plenty of parking and there are several locations. They offer online purchases and in store pick up as well as delivery. Just missing one star as I've several times had to deal with employees that made their problems mine. Other than that, all good!!!”

“What can I say it’s Home Depot, you know what you’re walking into. I would give five star but every till was closed and we were forced to go through a self check out which I hate. Give the cashiers the work!”
“Customer service was a bit lacking, I know it's a DIY place but we stood checking out keyless locks for about 30 minutes and no one asked if we needed help.”
“I have been shopping and receiving excellent customer service from many dedicated, hard working , talented and willing to walk extra miles daily from the the following associates from different departments, these associates are providing superb service to builders, contractors, tradesmen, individuals with creative solutions if asked. These associates are not there to get their pay checks, I am sure all those who shop at this location recognize this. The managers, frontline workers, cashiers, drivers, staff in all departments will say it is their job, they like serving us, yet, I say they are doing more without expectation. The following associates: Holly in flooring has been helping me for years with invaluable information, helped me to make wise choices to complete my various projects over the years ( from 2008 to now), Candace, front desk helped me to find my way around, Candace answered all my questions with empathy. Earl, Morley very knowledgeable, talented man of many creative ideas, Inessa very gifted in lawns, plants, flowers, soils and more... seasonal, Tim in, gazebos, , Dean, Michael ( very hardworking and loyal delivery driver) some I know their faces, not their names, a hardworking group of like minded people with different skill sets working together as a close knit family at this home depot located on 6725-104 street, store # 7117.I am sure all other home depots in this city are providing quality service to Edmontonians who are doing their projects with joy. Best of luck everyone.”
“Mostly quality items in stock. Tools bought here are expensive, but will last a long time. I don't know why they bother with self checkout when a staff member usually ends up checking you out anyway. The staff could have asked if I needed help out of the store with large items on two occasions. Other than that, the staff can easily help you navigate the store.”
“Had an amazing experience with Maggie! She took the time to go through all my fixtures for my new build taking into consideration my design concept and budget!
Would definitely recommend!

“This was my second time at this store and both times Chris assisted me very friendly guy. Awesome customer service. The store is well stocked always find what I need. Keep up the good work Chris.”
“Can't say bad to Home Depot, always ready to help you when you don't know things where to find. Always happy to serve customer especially Ronilda who help me in all I need that day. Well rounded staff. Absolutely amazing!”
“Shoutout to Damandu in the hardware department—what a gem! He was fast, polite, and incredibly eager to help. I had a few specific needs and he didn’t hesitate for a second—just got right to work and made sure I left with everything I needed. Truly excellent customer service. Thank you, Damandu!”
“I was referred to Wolseley by Home Depot, who sold me incorrect parts for a flush valve on a Toto toilet. I started in the showroom and was referred to the parts department. I had the parts for the flush valve that I needed to have replaced, and I showed them to a parts' representative. He spent about 10 minutes looking on his PC for the replacement parts (flush valve seat and flush valave gasket rubber), and he consulted a couple colleagues. He told me I would have to go to another Wolseley store to purchase the parts. He suggested that he could sell me the whole tank. I thought he was joking, but apparently not. It was a totally impractical suggestion. Of course, I declined since I only needed a few parts. When he showed me his screen to identify the other store locations, his screen displayed a fill valve assembly. I told him that was not what I needed and I referred him to the flush valve parts I previously showed him. He told me they didn't have those parts either. I left that department frustrated. The parts person did not know what he was doing. I walked back through the showroom to leave the building. The sales person I first talked to asked if I found what I needed in their parts department. I told her what happened. One of her colleagues, a young woman with brown hair, about 30 years old, overheard our conversation. She asked me if I could wait a couple minutes. She went back to parts and returned with some wrenches, including a large plumber's wrench. She told me we would take apart the tank of a Toto floor model. It took us awhile but we were able to disassemble it. She gave me the gasket and seat parts. I thanked her and asked how much for the parts. She told me to just take them, and apologized for my experience in parts. Now THAT is superior customer service. What started as a disappointing experience in parts was turned on its head by Wolseley's sales representative. I was so impressed and I told her that I was very thankful for her over-the-top customer service. I am hopeful that you can identify your employee and tell her that she completely wow'ed a customer! I should have asked for her name. I will definitely shop at Wolseley for new bathroom fixtures (and I have purchased items there previously)... but I'll likely take a pass on visiting the parts department. Thank you!”
“A 20 year old cabinet door hinge failed and I sought a replacement. The inside sales guy was amazingly helpful, even though they did not carry the original manufacturer hinges. He pulled out multiple shop manuals and mock ups to identify the correct replacement hinge and fasteners based on the odd ball configuration.I left with 4 sets of their hinges installed easily. Great product with cam adjustable screws.Amazing customer service.”
“Jan. 14, 2026: I attended the St. Albert Home Depot the morning of Jan. 14. as I needed only one 1 inch screw for a walking cane device for my husband's cane. I was advised by a wonderful lady that worked there to go to the rental section. Once there a very polite gentleman stopped what he was doing and proceeded to look thru 100's of screws with no hesitation to solve the need. He found a screw and drilled it in place. Our cane safety problem was solved by the kind and patient fellow in that area, I wish to acknowledge and thank him for his obvious pride and care he likely gives to all who need his help and guidance at Home Depot. Thank you and the very best for 2026.”
