I recently made the switch from USAA to Desert Financial after moving to the area. Since USAA doesn’t offer physical branches, I was really looking forward to having access to in-person banking. After hearing great things about Desert Financial from friends, I decided to check it out—and I’m so glad I did!
From the moment I walked in, the experience was exceptional. The front desk staff was welcoming and got me checked in quickly. Kathleen assisted me with opening both a checking and savings account. She was incredibly polite, professional, and knowledgeable. Kathleen took the time to explain the benefits of banking with Desert Financial, what it means to be part of a credit union, and even shared some of the organization’s history.
I was genuinely impressed with the level of customer service from Kathleen and the entire branch team. I’m looking forward to being a long-term member of Desert Financial!”

I once forgot my work name tag and they called me to let me know they were holding it for me until I could pick it up. Such a small thing but it shows just how much they want to take care of their clients. I’ve been banking with them for almost 10 years and I’ve never had any issues and they have always been very informative and helpful with my finances.”

She was attentive and listened to my situation then clarified what I was asking then proceeded to address each one patiently and with sincere empathy.
