I was on marketplace last night looking for an affordable bicycle to get me around town, possibly go back to work on.
After many, MANY postings, I found exactly what I was hoping to find; and it's a bike I'd owned before, but marked down to a price I can actually afford. Messaged the guy Codi, he was very responsive, very positive experience.
Went in this morning, got there before they opened. Codi was professional and very friendly, and once I'd purchased the bike, he even loaned me the tools I needed to get the bike up and running to my specs.
EXTREMELY happy with both my purchase, and the experience I had with him. The store was a lot smaller than I expected, but very well organized and very clean. Would go back again, they have everything you could possibly need or want.

“Thrifty Ice Cream! I haven’t had it since I was a kid. We arrived at this place at 7:59, they close at 8p. 4 people totally not expecting to get service. The person working welcomed us all in and was so kind and gave us the best service. It’s clean and so many flavors to choose from. Prices are so much better than other big name chains around. Total Mom and Pop shop. We will be customers for life. Thank you!”
“Found some really interesting things here and actually walked out with something I've been needing for awhile! The item looks practically brand new and it was only $1.50 since I paid with card. Art was great at checkout and greeted everyone that walked in. I love that he also took the time to explain how stocking worked through the day and week along with all the pricing details. I'll absolutely be returning!”

“This TJ Maxx and HomeGoods on Southern is honestly one of my favorite stores. I could spend hours there. They have such a fun mix of home decor, clothing, kids' items, pet things, and unique seasonal finds. I love browsing for home pieces and garden decor—always something special you don’t see everywhere. The staff are friendly, hardworking, and always willing to help, which makes every visit feel welcoming. Highly recommend.”
“Recently I was on the hunt for birthday balloons. Specific birthday balloons, snoopy colors, should be simple. To my surprise it was NOT!
After going to and/or calling 8 Dollar Tree locations with NO luck, I knew I was in trouble. Then because of freeway congestion I happened upon the Dollar Tree on Southern Ave at Val Vista Drive in Mesa, AZ.
There I found THE balloons I needed for my granddaughter’s birthday! When I delightedly told the manager how happy her store had made me, how awesomely friendly the employees were, how “the” birthday was now going to be complete, she said because of road construction we aren’t getting the foot traffic we normally do, so our stock is better than many stores.
It can’t be only road construction! I believe their stock of balloons has everything to do good management, pleasant employees and a good attitude all around. This will now be a regular Dollar Tree for me! Thanks to Dollar Tree #7262!”

“Good customer service, but the store itself could use some help. I wanted to purchase an item that was bigger and a little bit more heavy. Not only were both of the same items that I wanted damaged, but they were hooked on to the shelf in a weird way so one fell, and there was no way for me to get it back up. And I can tell that the items were damaged because they were not hung up properly and kept falling. Too bad, because I really wanted that item. I saw a little kid bashing on an item, and a store clerk walked past and did nothing. Nobody cares about anything anymore and it's just a bummer. I guess I shouldn't expect anything more in 2024.”
“An easy walk from my apartment and my go to for a quick trip. Not over the top, just a convenient and dependable neighborhood spot I’m happy to support. It’s nice being able to run errands on foot and keep things simple. ?✨✌?”
“Have shopped here a number of times while visiting. I love that they have real cashiers instead of self checkout but it's usually busy with a good sized line because they sometimes seem to be shorthanded. So be patient & wait. Employees work hard & try to stock shelves as quickly as possibly. They are friendly & try to help customers find what they need. Every so often I leave with something from clearance as well.”
“The place comes in clutch when you need something. The employees are kind. I came in tonight and a newer gal I has never seen is slammed. She’s got like 10 people waiting in line. I turn down the beauty isle cuz I’m about to pay and there’s a bunch of people in that new gals line. And I see ann employee and ask Jenell the employee if she was gonna open a new line. She says, yea if she asks me for help. I’m assuming she’s referring to the girl slammed. Like ok Jenell, I see you girl. We don’t take initiative to help your colleagues. Anyways, I grab something and I get in her line and I say thank you after paying. She ignored me, I said it again. She still ignored me. This time I look at her and say, “I said thank you”. She got frazzled and said thank you back to me. Come on girl, it’s ok to take initiave and to be kind.”

“So I went in cause I saw a girl on tik Tok who said she sells her black hair products at dollar tree. I got the edge control and this leave in conditioner and for the $2.50 I spent I am so happy. The edge control is top tier I went months ago and I'm still using the same container”

“I came in this store it was late night and my 12 year old needed to use the restroom after being told there was no restroom by a cashier Harry the store manager immediately corrected the issue and allowed my kid to use the restroom. He was very helpful very friendly had great customer service. I typically do not like to spend my money in establishments that will not allow the use of restrooms since I do have small kids but Harry was great very kind courteous and respectful he allowed my kid to use the restroom no problem at all and I did purchase items afterwards, Harry needs a raise. He most definitely knows what the definition of customer service really is, Thank you Harry!”
“Excellent deals, especially on certain snacks, batteries, Christmas cards, things like isopropyl alcohol and cotton balls, etc... you do have to be careful that you are buying from the $1.50 rack, but once in a while there are good deals on other stuff such as a $7 welcome mat for your front door.

This is the first job I've have in a while where the management treats you like a HUMAN and not a machine. “This dollar tree is pretty nice, it's always pretty well stocked and I like the fact that they had my favorite Monster flavor this time. Sometimes there are fun little things that surprise you and can be cool, other times you get what you paid for. Though it does not have a bathroom, so you'd have to go elsewhere for that.”

“I've been to five below stores in other towns and I even bought a pair of clogs in one a few years ago. But I'm here in Mesa and my clogs are getting so worn I can feel the heat of the payment through the thin souls so I stopped in here to see if they had any in my size. They didn't have any at all in any color or size which was disappointing. I walked around and looked at a few other things but just didn't see anything I needed so I left without buying. The store is clean and well lit and organized.”
“I just moved here from Lisbon, Ohio and I am looking for a Dollar General that has a good hospitality like a small town that I’m from and when I went in this evening August 8 about 940 I suppose maybe it was a little later and I was walking through getting all my stuff. I had my service dog with me and they absolutely adored him and he adored them. The young man came up and very politely said ma’am, I’m sorry but the store closed one minute ago and I said did you want me to leave and he said no no I’ll go ahead and go check it out and I said I’m really sorry for that and he said no, it’s fine so I went out front and I told him I was looking for a 15 pack of diet Mountain Dew unfortunately they did not have it that’s OK no with all that being said when I go back during the daytime if they have the same hospitality as the nighttime, I will make that store my store to go back to and I wish I could give them more than five stars for this evening experience because of how loving respectful kind they were in our or the people that come into their store so if anybody else decides to go, I hope that you have the same experience I do or did”
