31319 N Scottsdale Rd #125, ScottsdaleFriend bought my cats food as gift from PS+, but they wouldn’t eat it. So I tried to return for credit to buy food I know my fussy cats will eat. Owner took a loud, hissy fit (no pun intended), because I didn’t have receipt and wanted my friend’s name. That was it for me. Then sent me to Petsmart (a store I prefer), but PS doesn’t carry same line of cat food. Unbelievable hassle for small credit, that would have instantly gone back to PS+. No wonder they’re a small outfit with even smaller customer treatment.
Subsequently, owner requested I call store. Did so and was treated warmly and store credited for other purchases

Recently, I had the chance to be helped by Nadia, who was an absolute delight. My chihuahua Buzz was not eating his regular food, so Nadia said I could return it, then recommended another food to try ( Stella and Chewy's Coated Kibble). Buzz loved it and we are back to normal 'round here thanks to Nadia's help. She really went out of her way to help me. Very impressive. The other young lady, Victoria is always super nice, too. Actually, the employees are all exceptionally knowledgable, good people, and the food is top quality. So convenient, too. They love pets and it shows. Also, forgot to mention that Sierra is amazing. She has been incredibly nice every time I visit and is extremely knowledgeable. Great staff.

I now have 4 dogs of my own and Hopi proves time and time again that they’ll go above and beyond to work with me and take care of my pups. They've been there and helped when my puppy was only 4 months old and had an abscess on his elbow from an injury. They've helped when my 4 yr old husky Zeus broke a bone in his arm. Just recently my 7 month old Husky puppy Stryker needed a major emergency surgery. They were willing to get him in quickly and did an amazing job! Without their help I don’t know what we would have done. They answer my questions in a timely manner, are flexible with scheduling and everyone has always been so friendly to us. We've always had family watch our dogs during vacations, but when that was no longer an option we were really nervous about finding someone reliable. We interviewed multiple sitters and ultimately went with POTL after speaking with Lisa. I liked that she has multiple sitters available, especially since one of my concerns was being out of the country and an emergency happening with the sitter. She assured me that if this did happen, which in her experience never has, that she would have another sitter complete the stay or if no sitters were available, she would personally complete the stay herself. This ultimately was the deciding factor with choosing POTL over an individual sitter, and we've definitely made the right choice. Our sitter is amazing and has always taken great care of our dogs and house. I'd definitely recommend.

I'm convinced puppy school is more for owners to learn how to be good puppy parents than it is for the puppies, but the dogs learn a lot too during the course. Our double doodle puppy calmed down tremendously over the 6 week course and learned several basic, but very important, commands. We now feel confident taking her out in public knowing that we can control her behavior and enjoy going out with her. SuAnn is a wonderful teacher. Our server was Cynthia S. who was professional, courteous, and personable. She was helpful with suggestions for dinner. We asked to move to a booth and were easily accommodated . She often checked back with us if we wanted anything else. Highly recommend this particular place. Had a great chat with Brandon, owner about previous review and response. He pointed out his response to review. He is very concerned and wants everyone to dining to enjoy and have a great dining experience.

My only qualm with the service is I have had my server switched on two separate occasions, once where I was notified by my first server that they’re switching sections which is no problem at all however, the second time our server was switched to a new section mid service & we were not notified at all. Just had a different server who did not acknowledge the change & we did not see them most of the night until the bill arrived. This can be confusing for patrons especially when it comes to tipping.

The dry rub and sauce choices seem to have something for everyone. The service was really friendly and attentive, checking in a few times. I wasn't a fan of the slaw and wish they had better dessert options than just cookies. Maybe a Brownie or Banna Pudding, would fit the vibe. Definitely planning to come back and try all the different stuff. Highly Recommend.

Only knocked off one star for the high prices. $10 for a 20oz kolsch is definitely on the too high side for me given the other options in the area. If cost isn't a factor for you then definitely stop by for a good beer!

Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center
27026 N 156th St, ScottsdaleMy mom and I did a tour here yesterday and absolutely loved it. The care that the staff and volunteers put into the animals is amazing to see. Our guides were both knowledgeable and entertaining. Hearing about the individual stories of the animals, how they came to be there, and learning about their personalities and daily habits was a special highlight for us. I would highly recommend this place!

Both are wonderful pets and have fit right in with our "family" We recently went back to do a meet & greet with another dog. Unfortunately it was not a good fit with our 2 dogs, so we were not able to adopt this time. We will definitely keep Foothills in mind when we are looking to add "family" members.

Paw Placement
10030 N 90th St, ScottsdaleThis animal rescue is second to none. I adopted my cat who is differently abled and we are a perfect match. The cats and kittens are well cared for at the center or in foster. I recently helped a friend when she adopted to two kittens and the process was seamless and wonderful.
They vet the new paw parents well to assure the pets are going to a proper home--a huge PLUS!!!
