Owner took a loud, hissy fit (no pun intended), because I didn’t have receipt and wanted my friend’s name. That was it for me. Then sent me to Petsmart (a store I prefer), but PS doesn’t carry same line of cat food. Unbelievable hassle for small credit, that would have instantly gone back to PS+. No wonder they’re a small outfit with even smaller customer treatment.
Subsequently, owner requested I call store. Did so and was treated warmly and store credited for other purchases

Recently, I had the chance to be helped by Nadia, who was an absolute delight. My chihuahua Buzz was not eating his regular food, so Nadia said I could return it, then recommended another food to try ( Stella and Chewy's Coated Kibble). Buzz loved it and we are back to normal 'round here thanks to Nadia's help. She really went out of her way to help me. Very impressive. The other young lady, Victoria is always super nice, too. Actually, the employees are all exceptionally knowledgable, good people, and the food is top quality. So convenient, too. They love pets and it shows. Also, forgot to mention that Sierra is amazing. She has been incredibly nice every time I visit and is extremely knowledgeable. Great staff.

I contacted the reception desk in Glendale. Brooke was helpful in assisting me get an appointment the next day at the Scottsdale location. I met with the surgeon, Dr. Burke and it was determined surgery could proceed that day.
I could not have ask for better service and compassion from all the staff and doctors. It required an overnight stay and I was informed in the evening including a photograph of how my dog was progressing.
Melissa was very thorough in the discharge appointment and now we are on the path to recovery armed with all the information needed for proper care post surgery.

I have been bringing my dogs to Dr. Ryan here for nearly 7 years, and he has helped me through it all (multiple surgeries, end of life services, check ups, etc). He is ALWAYS sympathetic, kind, and willing to go the extra mile. I trust him extensively with my pups. One of my dogs needed a very invasive surgery this week and Dr. Ryan was ill that day. Dr. Arnold stepped in to do the surgery in place of Dr. Ryan. I was reeeeally nervous at first about letting anyone else do the surgery, but he answered all my questions and was extremely patient with me. He did such a great job on the procedure and I am so grateful for everything he did for me and my dog that day. Long story short, I recommend this hospital to anyone and everyone looking for a high quality, trustworthy vet.

5533 E Bell Rd Ste 101, ScottsdaleAlthough its been several years, I felt inclined to write this review. Hopi was amazing with my newly adopted dog, Daisy. Daisy had heartworm when we adopted her. The vet hadn't dealt with a heartworm case in quite a while so she collaborated with an external vet specialist and drew up a treatment plan. Daisy is a small dog and treatment can actually kill dogs. It was a lengthy, sensitive time but Hopi was so great and careful. Daisy would stay there for full days receiving her injections. I think all the techs fell in love with her during this long 12 week process. Its now been 5+ years and we still take Daisy to Hopi for her check ups and she's as healthy as ever. Thank you :)

I feel like I won the actual veterinary lottery.
My cat, Baby, is 23 years old. Yes, twenty-three. She has earned every wrinkle, whisker, and ounce of attitude she possesses.
She’s been doing this odd mouth movement after eating, and while my previous vet wasn’t overly concerned, my gut told me to dig deeper.
Enter Dr. Sanders at Scottsdale Cat Clinic, and suddenly the universe felt balanced again.
From the moment we walked in, the entire staff made us feel calm, welcomed, and genuinely cared for. The clinic itself feels like it was designed by someone who truly understands cats, not just medically, but emotionally. Quiet. Peaceful. Respectful of feline dignity.
And then there’s Dr. Sanders.
I have never, in 23 years of caring for Baby, seen a veterinarian be so thorough, patient, gentle, and intuitive. She didn’t rush. She didn’t dismiss anything. She examined Baby with the kind of care you’d expect if she were handling something priceless, which frankly, she was.
What absolutely floored me was Baby’s reaction. Baby, who has opinions. Baby, who does not simply “allow” handling. Baby calmly let Dr. Sanders examine her mouth, her body, everything. I stood there in disbelief. It was like watching a cat whisperer at work.
The nurses and staff deserve their own standing ovation. Every single person was kind, attentive, and clearly invested in making both pets and humans feel safe and heard. No one treated Baby like “just an old cat.” They treated her like the cherished family member she is.
I left feeling informed, reassured, and deeply grateful. If you love your cat. And I mean really love your cat. This is where you go. No question. No hesitation.

We've always had family watch our dogs during vacations, but when that was no longer an option we were really nervous about finding someone reliable. We interviewed multiple sitters and ultimately went with POTL after speaking with Lisa. I liked that she has multiple sitters available, especially since one of my concerns was being out of the country and an emergency happening with the sitter. She assured me that if this did happen, which in her experience never has, that she would have another sitter complete the stay or if no sitters were available, she would personally complete the stay herself. This ultimately was the deciding factor with choosing POTL over an individual sitter, and we've definitely made the right choice. Our sitter is amazing and has always taken great care of our dogs and house. I'd definitely recommend.

We took him a few times for daycare before we left and he loved it. They were very attentive and he got to play with other dogs and still got his scratches and pets. He wasn't all that excited to leave. We will continue to bring him for daycare so he can see his new doggie and human friends. Enzo boarding experience was just as great as daycare. They continually send pictures and let us know how he was doing but we could see from his face he was having a grand time. I literally ordered it twice and was debating whether to purchase a third round of taro ice cream because it was so good. The ladies working here are super nice and their ice cream looks and tastes like PERFECTION. This is the best dessert spot in all of Arizona.

The Stand
4020 N Alma School Rd, ScottsdaleThe people at the stand are very friendly and the atmosphere is very inviting. The fry bread tacos they make are delicious. And the prices are reasonable. They also have stands there where Native American people sell jewelry that they made by hand and everyone is so friendly. While we waited for our food to be called, we went to the stands to check out all the jewelry they had for sale and I bought a silver humming bird and 2 silver earring's for my wife for valentines day. When we were done looking at the jewelry, they called our number and | went to pick up the food. When we got home to my wife she opened the food and was amazed at how much there was, and I gave her the gift I got for her and she loved it.. That was a good day.. Thanks to the great people at the stand that day.. Thank you very much ? ?

Food was delicious, & the outdoor seating under the shaded patio was such a good vibe. Highly recommend the French dip, and the quesadillas.
Our server was Rachel, and she was so friendly and helpful from start to finish. We also got help from Eli, Harper, & Brandi with coffees & some extras. Overall super friendly staff, just a great place with great people. Will definitely be back here next time we’re in town

27026 N 156th St, ScottsdaleWhat a wonderful, unique tour. It's everything you wish a zoo could be: informative, thoughtful, up-close, and focused on rehabilitation rather than commercialization. You'll see a host of permanent animals that can't be released due to safety regulations, but are clearly living happy and healthy lives here at the center. Goliath, the giant tortoise, was probably my favorite part of the tour.

Paw Placement
10030 N 90th St, ScottsdaleThis animal rescue is second to none. I adopted my cat who is differently abled and we are a perfect match. The cats and kittens are well cared for at the center or in foster. I recently helped a friend when she adopted to two kittens and the process was seamless and wonderful.
They vet the new paw parents well to assure the pets are going to a proper home--a huge PLUS!!!
