“My family regularly comes here. Even though we don't speak tagalog, we always feel very welcome. We are often greeted each time we go through the door. The stock changes, so we aren't always sure what will and won't be available, but that's pretty normal. I especially love the desserts they have at the cash register. I always like to take a peek to see if my favourites are available!”
“My Plant Curious plant based deals book had a couple of coupons for Living Tree Foods in New Westminster so I used those coupons and treated myself to a mini shopping spree at Living Tree Foods!They're a small retail store and everything that they sell is plant based. I came home with plant based versions of chicken wings, crab cakes, bagel thins, smoked salmon, cream cheese, ravioli, and chicken pot pie.My husband and I feasted on the Breathe Kitchen Chick'n Pot Vegan Pie, as well as the Living Tree Foods fish free smoked salmon and dairy free cream cheese spread on top of O'Doughs bagel thins for dinner that very same night, and while the food may look quite simple, it was all soooooooooo good! Our Ninja Foodi machine made the prep work super easy too as I was able to cook the Chick'n Pot Vegan Pie in only 20 minutes, instead of 40 minutes as was mentioned on the instructions. Really looking forward to trying out the rest of the goods that I brought home.They've got all sorts of cool foods at their store. I was quite tempted by the Mac n Cheez with Bacon bits pie, the Cheezburger pie, and the Tiramisu. “I had bought Angus beef burgers from a m&m exspress in Chevron gas station worse thing ever ! And the Chevron would not return them. So I called M&M food market and spoke to Amy and she gave me the phone number for head office which I called who sent me a card so that I could go and pick up some burgers from the actual store. Well, I didn't enjoy those ones so I went in and I seen Amy this morning and she recommended quite a few things. The one thing she suggested was the slow cooked beef pot roast which I am on my way home to cook for dinner this evening. If there's any store in New Westminster who gives good service, it is M&M food market on McBride hats off to incredible customer service being incredible, friendly, and just an all-around great experience! “Good local shop. Have most of what you need for slightly-above-grocery-store prices. It's a "conveinience" shop after all, but they do have some good deals on produce and certain items as well. Great when you just need a couple items and don't want to go far. Very friendly.”

“I am not particularly familiar with Caribbean food but they seem to have a wide variety. The store is small but well-stocked. Prices looked very reasonable.
Staff were friendly and polite both on the phone and in person. So happy to find the Jamaican patties from The Patty Shop here!”
“Rent a U Haul van twice from this location. I have good experience both times. The owner is fair with fuel top up and there was no hassle. I advise going to pick up your reservation 5-10 minutes earlier, particularly during month ends. The owners are a couple and one is busy serving both convenience store customers and U Haul reservations while the other checking, cleaning and handling the van maintenance”

“I've been shopping here for years. They have some really great employees. Jake is all around awesome... he can do any position. The meat manager (I think his name is Ryan?) is always running around offering advice or help. He tells me about specials and genuinely seems to love his love. It shows.”

“The rice in the cabbage rolls is severely undercooked. This needs to be fixed. Ive got them a couple times, thinking maybe this was a mistake, but it's the same every time. Please cook the rice before adding it to the meat. It's very unpleasant buying this and having to crunch through uncooked rice the whole time.”

“They had very good deals. I went first time few months back for my favorite fruit that was on deal. The customer service was good then too, and I just called to check if its still there, the phone was answered quick and the reply was that the season was over. But the way he spoke was so polite, humble and caring, and he apologized for it as the season was over. That's the customer service when you are not even in person. So many other places they sound so rude, unwelcoming, or irritating to answer over phone.”
