“Actually wish I could give this place six stars. The level of detail the sales clerk had was actually mind-boggling. He asked me to take my shoes off so that he could study the shape of my feet, my arches (or lack thereof lol), then asked me to bend my knees so he could see what they looked like in that position…? Are you kidding? Most shoe stores just pass you your size and leave it at that. This dude was just really kind and chatty as well. I bought two pairs of the same shoe that was on sale, and he discounted them EVEN MORE for me because I bought two! Clearly this is a business that cares first and foremost about creating a loyal customer base, and safe to say after today I will be joining that! I don’t think I’ll get better shoe-related customer service anywhere else. Thank you!”

“I live in Alberta and choose to shop with Big League Sports Excellence for all my baseball needs. It’s not only the stock they carry, but the attention to customer service! A bat I purchased cracked on the handle and prior to them even receiving it back I had a replacement in my hands 2 days after notifying them. Not to mention, the bat I received as replacement was superior, at no extra cost. This is a retail store that should be supported by everyone in this community. Think twice before purchasing anything from a big box store and shop here.”

“I've been coming here for a few years now. The staff are knowledgeable, which I appreciate. I find their collection to be very well curated. For me this means I know that in general the shoes, clothes, and gear are all good quality, and have been vetted for functional use (not just looking pretty). I also really appreciate that it is a smaller store, so I don't get overwhelmed by an excessive number of options.
They carry multiple sizes in what they do stock, so I'm able to try on shoes to find what works for me. (I'm so tired of going to big stores and never being able to actually try the options I'm looking for.) I will continue to come here and support this in-person local business because I really value being able to talk to someone knowledgeable as well as to see, touch, and try things. Thank you!”
“They had a grand sale going on when we went in November of 2023 $10 for travelers rolling backpack formerly $60; they have everything you need- & don't need L?L! They had 3x shirts for my hubby, tote bags, coffee mugs, photo frames, sweatshirts, hooded pull overs, beanies, scarves, mittens etc2 if you forgot to stash them in your luggage! We were in another tourist area & their pullovers were $80!! ?”

“Cheapskates is a solid spot for secondhand items with a good mix of affordable and unique finds. It is a practical place to shop if you are looking to save money while still finding interesting pieces.
The selection changes often, so there is always a chance to come across something different. It is also a good place to find items like golf drivers at a lower price, which adds extra value if you are looking for sports equipment.
The store can feel a bit packed depending on the time, but it is part of the thrifting experience.”

“Yesterday I had a problem with my return at Running room store on Robson.
When I did my purchase the assistant didn’t tell me that sales are like final sale and there is no refund except exchange or store credit.
So I explained my issue to the store manager Carlos and asked him to help me because I needed to refund me.
Carlos was very understanding, fast and professional.
He apologized for his colleague who didn’t tell me about sales items return policy and refunded me.

“I dropped in the store today to grab some socks for a big hike and some T-shirts. I was greeted by Priya at the front door. After looking at a few things, she approached me and started making conversation. She is an excellent sales associate. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and super helpful. I ended up buying a bunch of stuff and left with a smile. She even convinced me to buy merino blend for my hike. Typically, I’ve been buying only hundred percent merino. I’m really excited for my next adventure and she was a big help and getting the right gear for that. Priya earned five stars for sure!!”

“Stopped by Aerie on Robson and found some really cute workout sets and basics. Prices are a little high regular price, but if you catch a sale it’s definitely worth it. The activewear is comfy, flattering, and good quality without feeling overly trendy.
Cute shop and a great location if you’re already walking around Robson shopping for the day. The store was clean, easy to browse, and had a better selection than I expected. Definitely worth popping into if you’re nearby and looking for matching sets or casual basics.”

“Had the most incredible experience at #lululemonVancouver (970 Robson Street) while on vacation. We had just enjoyed a Disney cruise to Alaska to celebrate being a 5 year #cancersurvivor but unfortunately I got bronchitis! So after arriving in the beautiful city of Vancouver we went to enjoy some shopping and lunch.
At lululemon I was helped by the fabulous Taury who was helpful, kind, and funny. He asked if I was okay due to my extensive coughing, so I explained the above, and he offered me water and tissues. Once I’d modeled my choices for Les and we were heading to the cashier, Taury said the most beautiful thing: he was moved by my journey and my spirit, and wanted to gift me one of the two pairs of leggings! I couldn’t believe such kindness! Then when we got to the cashier, the manager said BOTH pairs of leggings were a gift! I welled up with tears at the kindness and generosity. Thank you Taury and #lululemonVancouver for making this woman feel special. And I absolutely LOVE my gorgeous Nulu leggings!”

“5 stars for the staff- every single person was genuinely helpful which I haven’t really experienced at other Lulu’s in Canada. I haven’t shopped at Lulu in years! Many years and I had fond memories of my past purchases because of the quality and value I felt I got from the items however I’m shocked at the decline in quality. I didn’t believe what I was hearing online and then today i just couldn’t understand how and why. Also the women’s section is so small and so random what’s going on it’s like half a winners search rack. So many random weird styles and the fabrics are so different. How do you have 1-2 styles of training leggings and 87 for chill yoga..?
I feel compelled to go elsewhere to compare silky and pricing..there has to be a bit better quality than this. Appreciate the customer service today thank you to the team! Hopefully we don’t lose another brand because there’s so much potential.”
