“Another quality visit to Kintec with great results
Marla still works there, (so grateful) and she rembered me from my last visit for my Hokas. This most recent visit was to find a supportive knee sleeve/brace pending an orthopaedic assessment post injury. This is not a drug store level, neoprene device, but rather something with sports science and rigorous development.
Marla has always been attentive and understanding, but every time I go back, I am reminded how unique she is in this day and age. She listens, isn’t distracted, yet multitasks, all while making sure she gives you the best guidance she can.
She is who I would send my grandmother to and know that she could be treated no better.
Marla got me fitted with a Bauerfeind product on the spot and they had stock in house so I could be on my way with something that should help me through the time til I get my ortho appointment
Kintec White Rock, and the community they support, are very fortunate to have this wonderful human caring for us.

I learned about something called inner pronation. I was really impressed because this kind of expertise is more what you’d expect from a podiatrist or kinesiologist. “Blessing - (yes, her name is Blessing) was exceptional in the store. As a senior with several medical issues, I have spent the last 5 years in my Skechers but my particular style is being discontinued. Blessing to the rescue!! At one point she had 9 boxes for me to try and new great ideas that I hadn't even considered!! I ended up with 3 pairs in the cart but when at check-out, May reminded me that it was buy 1 and get 50% off the second so - she radioed Blessing who went back and found my 4th pick. Both young ladies went the extra mile, for me!!”

“After experiencing pain in my feet and calves, doing physio, and starting at the gym, I realized I really needed to look at better running shoes. I'm an Air Jordans kinda person and had no idea where to start when it came to appropriate sneakers.
My partner and I were warmly welcomed when we walked into the store by Kurt, where we discussed the issues I was having. I
let Kurt take the wheel and he explained to me what sort of shoe I needed, and laid out some options for me. Honestly the first try-on was magical - there was immediate relief in my calves, I was walking on clouds! ? After trying on a few pairs, and Kurt assessing how I walked in them, we settled on a set. The customer care and products convinced my partner to also get a pair of running shoes right then and there as well.
We both walked out very happy our experience. I'm still using the shoes a few months later and they've genuinely helped the concerns I've had. I can't wait to come back and get another pair.”
“My favourite shoe store, I wish they would come to Chilliwack or Abbotsford and open a store as this store has so many great brand names of good quality like Joseph seibel, Reiker, Clark’s etc, I bought some lovely red tall Reiker boots and the staff that helped me Jasbir was so kind and generous, she even helped me with the boots I was wearing by giving me some insoles for the front of my boot as I was having issues, this shoe store is stocked well and organized and it’s fantastic.”
