Pet Grooming

Alamo Pet Grooming
3176 Danville Blvd, AlamoI highly recommend Vanessa's pet spa! I care for doggie guests in my home and when my regular client brings her two dogs in while they travel, I offer to take them to Vanessa's. They come out happy and looking beautiful! She and her helpers have been so kind, pleasant and love the dogs. You can tell that they were treated well as they're happy going in and happy coming out. I like that she schedules you by a particular hour based on other dogs being there, so that your dog doesn't have to stay there all day. Being a retired groomer myself, It was very hard on the dogs all coming in at eight in the morning and having to stay till 4 or 5 each day. Try her out, think you will feel comfortable leaving your pet there. She is super popular and busy so book way in advance for your fur babies!!

Deborah Knibb, D.V.M.
3217 Danville Blvd, AlamoI took my dog to 5 different Vets for an ear infection and none of them could fix the problem. Went to Sexton 3 times and he couldn't fix it, actually got worse. I called because it was so bad and he told me she's going to have to wait til next week because she was uncooperative, what an anus! Went to the vet if front of Sexton 5 times for just a temporary fix. Thought I would try the Vet across from my shop, BINGO! She fixed it the first time! My daughter took her dog there with a runny eye and he was better in 2 days. I'm glad there is somebody around here that knows what they are doing. And BTW, I started out at Bishop Ranch about 5 times b4 I went elswhere. I think they temporarily fix it so you keep coming back and paying 2 to 300$.

Lever Coffee
37 Alamo Square Dr, AlamoAlways wanted to go to Lever. I work right near here, and I came here on New Year’s Eve.
It is a very cute coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Parking can be difficult as it is small and tight, but there is parking in the back.
The coffee was great here. Their lavender ice latte was amazing. I believe they are known for their syrups, and I also got to try their orange rosemary syrup. It was unique, but I think the safe bet is to go with the lavender syrup.
It can get very packed here, and they seem to have a smaller staff. Things could move slow, but be patient as it is worth the wait.
Parking: Limited space so look for parking outside the lot or in the back

Extreme Pizza
3227 Danville Blvd, AlamoWhoever I spoke to over the phone 6/14/25 around 7pm was amazing. We were staying at a hotel outside of their delivery area and wanted something that off the current menu. She was very accommodating. I did have to order off DoorDash due to the proximity and ended up picking pick up instead of delivery.. that was my mistake. But all employees were great! Food was great too!
