Pet Stores & Supplies
Pet Food Express
3610 Mount Diablo Blvd, LafayetteThe manager and team at this store are amazing. They remember customer names(and more importantly, pets’ names. And they really know their products - making recs on foods to try if your dog is having any issues. I’m really grateful to have them so close to where we live.

Pet Care
Lafayette Animal Hospital
3394 Mount Diablo Blvd, LafayetteDr. Bowers is an excellent veterinarian who greets new (to us) cats like they are a cherished member of the family! Excellent vet tech staff and office support, and I won't go anywhere else.

Mt. Diablo Veterinary Medical Center
3344 Mount Diablo Blvd # B, LafayetteWe saw Dr Howland for routine exams for two dogs. The vet techs and vet were all knowledgeable and considerate of our dogs’ needs and anxieties. They recommended necessary treatments (shots, meds, tests) that made sense to us and did not push for superfluous additional work as some vets have done in the past. That was all good. The checkout procedures seemed to take a bit longer than necessary and seemed a bit disorganized accounting for the four-star rather than five-star rating.

Pacific Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital
3210 Old Tunnel Rd Suite B, LafayetteDr Luckring and staff saved my cat's life. Great service. Independently owned. Truly servicing the community. My cat's condition was rare, and we saw five vets before finding Dr Luckring at PacVet. They were able to schedule consultation, CT testing, the surgery, and two check-up visits. No other specialist in the area were able to provide support after the surgery, but PacVet could.

Pet Sitting & Training
Waiterock Kennels Inc
18 S Acres Rd, LafayetteWhen I drop my Corgi off for play time or overnight boarding I have total peace of mind that he is in a safe and caring environment. Conway loves going to Waiterock - he knows the route and gets happily excited when we near the kennel. I have also had him groomed during his overnight stays. I appreciate this added service. My pup looks and feels great after a good bath and nail trim. I've tried to do this at home but can't get close to duplicating the results.

East Bay Pet Care
3527 Mount Diablo Blvd, LafayetteBeverly and her team at EBPC have been taking care of our very large dogs for more than 10 years. They are highly reliable and willing to work with each pet's individual needs. Their level of care, attention, and communication are above and beyond. I highly recommend this company!

Walk, Train, Love - East Bay Dog Training
4 Ethan Ct, LafayetteWe highly recommend Walk Train Love. Prior to training, our dog was scared of everything. From typical things like garbage trucks to more unusual things like her own big floppy ears flapping in the wind, our pup navigated life riddled with anxiety. Hilly instilled confidence in our dog and just as importantly, empowered us as pet parents to guide our pup through life. No longer a puppy, our dog now exudes happiness and joy on walks, both on leash and off leash! She's still a lovable goofball, but with Hilly's training and guidance, she can now focus on being a goofy pup obsessed with her hooman siblings instead of anxiety!

The Tail Haven Hotel & Day Lounge
3295 Mount Diablo Blvd, LafayetteI love the simple system but I would like to tour the facility. And unfortunately it is a kennel with many dogs and my dog contracted kennel cough. The vaccine only works 50% of the time. I will still take my dog there no problem. Staff are great. Cheers

Kiku Sushi & Vegetarian
261 Lafayette Cir, LafayetteI know my carnivore friends don't hate me but when you have a partner as awesome as I do and she says she wants to try this sushi place that also serves vegan sushi what do you do, you take her there. Mind you they also have fish based dishes. But I went with it and it was very good. The green dragon roll consisting of tempora sweet potato, avocado and egg plant was great. The sunshine roll with mango, tempura jalapeño, sun dried tomato and avocado was also great. The vegan baked spicey scallop with baked king mushrooms and avocado was also great. Winner of the night.....Green Dragon. The rest come 2nds. Ambiance is nice and the staff is on top of it. All around very nice and will be coming back.

Philz Coffee
3597 Mount Diablo Blvd, LafayetteWe drive 25 min for this Philz to get a cup of coffee, eat a green chili burrito with hot sauce, then walk around downtown. The staff is always amazing and their coffee is on point. A bold, rich flavor every time. My fave is the Philtered Soul cold brew with oat milk. My husband gets the Aromatic Arabic with a splash of cream.Parking: There is a paid lot right behind Philz. We normally park on the metered main street, but can drive a little further for unmetered street parking as well. We never have to park more than a block away on the weekend.

The Rising Loafer Cafe & Bakery
3643 Mount Diablo Blvd, LafayetteWe really enjoy going to the Rising Loafer. We go there frequently on the weekends for the eggs Florentine and veggie omelet. They have the best hollandaise sauce, even better than I can make myself. It's a very simple place with an outdoor patio right by Trader Joe's and a very nice bookstore. The service is good and the owners are pleasant and friendly. We've had plenty of good experiences here and recommend it.
