1388 South California Boulevard, Walnut Creeki walked in with my dog sniffing al the cleaning supplies near the door and someone immediately came over to show me the grain free options. the guy even asked what my dogs name was and knelt down to pet him while i was deciding. my pup ended up picking out a new squeaky toy on his own, which was kind of embarasing because he wouldn't drop it. we definately ended up leaving with more than i planned but thats fine because the prices here are better than most places. overall it was a good experience and im planning on making this our stop for the next food run. bottom line would go back ten out of ten.

When I got back home to NYC, I realized the size 6 was a bit too small (despite having checked the measurement guidance prior to purchase). I reached out to their customer service team, and they were incredibly responsive and helpful. They took the time to review Giorgio's measurements, confirmed that a size 7 would be a perfect fit, and seamlessly facilitated an exchange.
The customer service is top-notch, and their clothing - for both humans and dogs - is so chic. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in the Palo Alto area, or checking out their online shop!

I was asked if I needed help, but not rushed or hovered over while I was looking around. The lady at the check out even helped me verify a specific property about one of the dog toys I was thinking of buying. Thanks to her help, I didn't buy that one because my dog would not have liked it, but the one I did but is already a favorite. I didn't get the lady's name so I have to say to the woman that was working at the checkout counter between 2 and 2:30pm on Jan 29th, thank you so much for your help. Great shopping experience.

Dr. Terry has been an absolute game-changer for my two Frenchies. She owns French Bulldogs herself and has cared for dogs from difficult breeding situations, so she genuinely understands the unique challenges and dedication these dogs require. Her knowledge goes far beyond dermatology, and she has an incredible network of resources for allergy-friendly medications, supplements, foods, and other therapies.
When I first came to her, my dogs were struggling with severe allergies, yeast, and recurrent infections. She completely changed the trajectory of their health and, just as importantly, **taught me how to manage them**. The daily and weekly care routines she has helped me establish have made an enormous difference.
Today, despite their complicated conditions, both of my dogs live happy, healthy, comfortable lives. That is something I wasn't sure would be possible when we started.
The entire staff is wonderful — compassionate, knowledgeable, dependable, and truly passionate about animals. They don't just treat your pet; they genuinely see them through their journey to better health.

2818 North Main Street, Walnut CreekI have nothing but wonderful things to say about this dog daycare center. My dog, toodle, has been coming here once a week since April. He has been to many dog daycares before. Let me just say, he has NEVER loved a daycare or been as excited to go to a daycare as much as this one. When we pick him up, he’s happy, well fed, and most importantly, CLEAN. Many aspects of this daycare impress me (how early their workers show up, how accommodating the owners are, how much care they provide the dogs), but perhaps the most impressive aspect to me is how clean they keep our dogs throughout the day despite them running around and playing all day. Toodle comes home smelling better than when I dropped him off! The owners are incredibly accommodating to our work schedules as well, and treat our dogs like family. I can tell Abhi (the owner) loves animals and loves running the daycare. Finding a dog daycare Toodle likes was a primary area of concern for me when I first moved to Walnut Creek in march, but North Main Pet Lodge has been a godsend and I’ll be sending toodle here as long as the business exists. This daycare has truly relieved so much stress for me and my family , and I am so grateful.

We signed up our shepherd mix puppy for Puppy 1 class and we were very impressed by the teaching tactics and results that we got for our dog. Keri was friendly and very knowledgeable and was a great trainer for both my husband and I as well as our puppy. We signed up for the second class level soon after completing the first. Our dog just graduated puppy 2 and I wanted to write a glowing review for both Keri and the pet food express staff. I highly recommend spending the money to making your dog better for life!

1511 Mount Diablo Boulevard, Walnut CreekWe decided to try Va de Vi Bistro & Wine Bar after reading about it online. We arrived in the mid-to-late afternoon without a reservation and were fortunate to get an indoor table before the dinner rush.
We started with a Cacio e Pepe Biscuit and wine. I wanted to explore their Spanish wine selection, so I tried all three options in 3 oz pours. We also shared the Beet Salad, made with golden beets, quinoa, and sherry vinaigrette, and the Ceviche Tostadas with mahi-mahi, mango salsa, and avocado. Both were delicious, although my wife managed to claim the third tostada!
For our main courses, we ordered the Paella and Linguine Gamberi. The paella, with saffron rice, seafood, chorizo, and shrimp, was particularly flavorful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the linguine as well. Despite being quite full, we couldn't resist the Dessert for Two, featuring key lime pie and three other small desserts. We managed to sample everything, although finishing it all was another matter!
Service was excellent throughout our visit. Our server was attentive, kept our wine glasses filled, and made sure we never waited long between orders. Other staff members promptly cleared our table after each course.
The indoor dining area was comfortable, and the outdoor garden seating looked beautiful and relaxing. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with delicious food, excellent service, and a pleasant atmosphere. We'd happily return.

The latte was perfection frothed, the espresso was delicious as was the little biscotti that was served with it. Facility was clean, moderately busy, I was able to get a table right away. I watched the staff and they were all so engaged in their work and the guests. Food was piping hot, perfectly seasoned. Eggs were poached perfect, sauce was not only not broken but seasoned slightly with Paprika for color. The pastry counter was spotless and their offered look fresh and inviting. Kudos to this place all around!! Its close to the freeway and parking is easy peasy.

2890 Mitchell Drive, Walnut CreekAlmost eight years ago, we adopted our dog, Espy, from Joybound when he was just two months old, and Joybound has been a meaningful part of his life, and ours, ever since.
I still vividly remember the adoption experience. Espy came with an incredibly thorough profile, clear instructions, medical records, and resources through Joybound's partners to help us get him set up with the right food, veterinary care, and everything else a new puppy needed. As first-time dog parents, that level of thoughtfulness gave us so much confidence bringing him home.
Over the years, our relationship with Joybound only grew. Espy attended puppy play when he was little, later returned for training, completed his basic manners and Canine Good Citizen training, and eventually became a certified therapy dog through Joybound. It has been incredibly special to watch the little puppy we adopted here grow up and eventually come back to serve the community himself.
Through all of these experiences, we've gotten to know many of Joybound's staff and volunteers. What stands out most is how genuinely and tirelessly they care, not only about animals, but also about the people and communities around them. We try to attend their local events whenever we can, and we've also watched them step up beyond our immediate community to help animals and families during disasters and other times of need.
Joybound is so much more than an animal shelter to us. It is a thoughtfully built organization that supports animals throughout their lives and creates lasting connections between pets, people, and the community.
We feel incredibly lucky and privileged to have been part of the Joybound family for nearly eight years. We recently learned that they received approval a few days ago to expand their facility and bring even more programs and services to the community, and we couldn't be more excited to see what comes next.
