“I was born in San Francisco and have lived here a number of times. I always saw those cars but they seemed too tourist oriented. Coming back for a visit after 10 years and renting a GoCar to see the city was a lot of fun. My wife just laughed most of the time.
I recommend it as an option, if you have 3 hours to just hangout together and want a quick tour of the city.”

Her wise intervention behind the scenes led to his seeking me out to apologize profusely, then thank me for my own kindness. “I rented a 15-person passenger van through this office to shuttle some friends of mine from out of town around for the weekend. Pickup on Friday went smooth thanks to the friendly staff, and the van was great.
On Saturday night (in classic Oakland style) the catalytic converter was stolen. I had insurance, but was almost sure I wouldn’t get a comparable vehicle on such short notice for Sunday.
When I brought the van in to exchange first thing Sunday, the staff were extremely understanding and helpful, but initially didn’t have another van to give me. However, the service rep, Ella, noticed another 15-passenger van was due to be returned that morning. She processed the return on that van super fast so that me and my friends could get back on the road.
Thanks Broadway Enterprise, and especially Ella, for going above and beyond!”

Very nice car, that has been washed and filled up before i picked it up.
Walked around the car with the staff to go around the scratches/dents that already existed to rule them out.
Carplay was installed for me by the staff.

“City rent a car was amazing! Their customer service is above and beyond! We had a different company cancel on us day of and City Rent a Car was able to help us get a car that same day. They were super helpful and even suggested local spots to visit where we were traveling to. I left my purse in the car on accident and flew out of the city before I realized. City Rent a Car found it and priority shipped it to me in 2 days across the country!! Not everyone will do that, so I truly appreciated this company and its people for going above and beyond for me even after we returned our car. Thank you so much City Rent a Car!!”

“Ran into a sudden severe snowstorm in Portland, Oregon where I had rented a car through Getaround. Had to have it towed back to the home zone. Called Getaround support and they worked hard and did their best to ensure a good experience for me regarding the rental and made sure I was safe.
