The animals looked healthy, active, and well cared for, which really shows the shop’s responsibility and love for pets. Prices were reasonable compared to the quality, and there were many options for toys, food, and grooming products.

The Dawg House
13746 Center St, Carmel ValleyWe love the Dawg House. We’ve been going for about two years now. Our Aussiedoodle is relatively used to going. I won’t say she loves it as much as I do. Some of the groomers do great poodle paws. We just have to ask to make sure you get the right person. A few of the groomers do it perfectly. Super helpful for fluffy dogs when you live there near lots of bushes and natural growth with stickers and spiral spikes.

Hae Soo and Louis set the tone and the entire staff have a family like feeling which translates to an amazing customer experience. Seating options from a lovely courtyard, outside in the front, sushi bar or inside tables. Must try items are the sushi hand rolls and the sashimi carpaccio. Also the spicy Korean pork is absolutely amazing. Can’t forget sushi chef Jay always with a smile, working fast and still somehow has time to say hello to everyone! My favorite place in Carmel Valley Village for many reasons.

Kristen McIntyre, daughter of the founder, runs the tasting room and has created a very lovely patio space for outdoor wine tasting in Carmel Valley. The umbrellas, pergola and oak tree offer nice shade. They are very dog friendly, and the wines are delicious. There’s plenty variety of Monterey wines to explore, from Chardonnay and rose to Pinot Noir and more. They also sell tasty charcuterie boxes.

I would've preferred we were seated at a table first (instead of the bar) or asked to wait for table. We ended up being seated at the bar and then offered a table 10 minutes after and had to move all of our drinks and food. Other than that, amazing experience and we will definitely return when we visit Carmel again.
