13746 Center St, Carmel ValleyI came out to Carmel Valley for two months bringing my cat Reba. The week before I left I had a family emergency and I couldn’t get the cats nails trimmed beforehand. My daughter-in-law‘s mother was taking care of Reba because the rental wouldn’t allow a cat. So I desperately needed to get Reba‘s nails trimmed and the DawgHouse accommodated no problem, got me in quickly and they were so nice. Another reason I want to move to Carmel Valley. The people here are so nice. It was clean quick and easy.

Grooming By The Sea
3 Mission St north east of 4th, CarmelIt doesn't get any better than grooming by the sea in my opinion! We were staying at a nearby VRBO and my 60 pound retriever decided to get filthy at the beach one morning. Not knowing what to do, I popped into grooming by the sea. They took her in right away and gave her a "beach bath special" two hours later my girl was looking beautiful with super cute bandannas around her neck. The pricing was fair and they were a delight to deal with we will for sure be back. Thank you so much!

I was lucky enough to find Carmel valley veterinary hospital after my dog had a medical emergency. I truly credit the advice I was given here as what made the difference in saving my pets life. The whites, roses, and Santa Lucia Highlands pinots are delicious. They also now serve food — charcuterie boxes from Carmel Valley Creamery. There’s lounge seating, some bistro tables with beautiful views, fire pits and it’s a dog friendly Monterey winery. There’s also a kids play area in the corner.

Hae Soo and Louis set the tone and the entire staff have a family like feeling which translates to an amazing customer experience. Seating options from a lovely courtyard, outside in the front, sushi bar or inside tables. Must try items are the sushi hand rolls and the sashimi carpaccio. Also the spicy Korean pork is absolutely amazing. Can’t forget sushi chef Jay always with a smile, working fast and still somehow has time to say hello to everyone! My favorite place in Carmel Valley Village for many reasons.

I would always come here for the wings, fish & chips and today all of us decided to have the ribeye steak. Cooked to perfection, simple is better, filling and so juicy. Felt like good ol’ home cooking, fun and easy listening county music, fun décor all around and the service was perfectly welcoming, kind and attentive. No doubt as to why this is a local favorite with a small town, good people feeling ❤️❤️❤️ I should have taken photos… next time ?

I would've preferred we were seated at a table first (instead of the bar) or asked to wait for table. We ended up being seated at the bar and then offered a table 10 minutes after and had to move all of our drinks and food. Other than that, amazing experience and we will definitely return when we visit Carmel again.

Kristen McIntyre, daughter of the founder, runs the tasting room and has created a very lovely patio space for outdoor wine tasting in Carmel Valley. The umbrellas, pergola and oak tree offer nice shade. They are very dog friendly, and the wines are delicious. There’s plenty variety of Monterey wines to explore, from Chardonnay and rose to Pinot Noir and more. They also sell tasty charcuterie boxes.
