Rincon Mountain Winery Tasting Room
4187 Carpinteria Ave Suite # 1-2, CarpinteriaHands down our favorite winery in the Santa Barbara region. We have been wine club members since the first day we walked in and tasted their wines. A wonderful variety of different wines and there is not one I would not recommend. Darren, Jill and their team have created such a fun, relaxing and inviting wine tasting experience… in my favorite beach town of Carpinteria. Love their tasting room and the vinyl music collection (with an album always playing) is second to none. Wine lovers - put this on your west coast wine tasting checklist. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Today we had a German hefe and a mango goze and a taste of the peach lager. Hefe was as really flavorful and not overdone with banana esters. Nice beer!

Teddy's By the Sea
5096 Carpinteria Ave, CarpinteriaThe food here is very good, not spectacularly incredible but would definitely recommend it and go again. Here's the breakdown on a couple dishes: Bacon wrapped dates: delicious and a good portion. Teddy's Tropical Ceviche: plenty of fish and tortilla chips but I tossed the giant pile of red onions that came on top. Personally I would have preferred red peppers instead like the way the Mac and cheese came, but that's just me and I'm sure they would have kept the onions off if I'd asked but I didn't know it had them. But it was really delicious nonetheless. Lobster Mac and cheese: is Langostino Lobster? No. Are they using langostinos as lobster? Yes. Would I have ordered langostino mac and cheese? Yes. Am I annoyed that they are calling langostino Mac and cheese lobster Mac and cheese? Absolutely. Was the langostino Mac and cheese good? It was excellent. Lots of langostino and delicious cheese blend. Tommy's margarita: great! Loved it. Classic margarita! Rincon margarita: smoky and gingery. Over gingered for my taste, need a balance so we can taste the other ingredients too. Mai Tai: good but kind of the same problem; all pineapple. Service was friendly, good natured and efficient. Had to switch booths as one table was super tippy. It's a smallish bar and dining area but a good sized patio. It's very casual.

Reyes Market
4795 Carpinteria Ave, CarpinteriaAuthentic Flavor & Thoughtful Accommodation!
Reyes Market is an essential Carpinteria institution. I had a SUPERB Bean, Rice, and Cheese Burrito here yesterday-the definition of a perfect, comforting burrito.
As a vegetarian, finding an establishment that maintains traditional, high-quality standards for authentic Mexican food while successfully meeting dietary needs (specifically, offering lard-free beans) can be a major challenge. Reyes Market excels at this balancing act.
The service is always friendly, the food is authentic, and their ability to successfully cater to both the local Latino community and specific dietary preferences truly sets them apart.
I have no personal or professional connection to the business—I am simply a grateful customer who recognizes and supports outstanding local quality and thoughtfulness. Highlv recommended!
