565 West El Roblar Drive, OjaiI brought in a newly-rescued 3 yo male pitty with really long nails hoping he wouldn't need to be muzzled (I had only had this dog for 3 days) and to my total delight, Serena was able to trim Frank's nails without a muzzle despite his near total lack of cooperation. She takes nail clippings as walk-ins which is great, she just really knows what she is doing, especially with the fussy little bullies. Great local business.

I put them through the wringer there with my worry and over protectiveness and she handled both me and my dog with gentle hands. And my boy looks sooooo handsome!!! Wow!

12689 Ojai Road, OjaiHIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HIDDEN GEM. The burgers here are SO GOOD. Also, they are very generous with the tots. Surprised these fine folks aren’t open into the evening, I’m guessing they’d sell a lot of burgers to Punch Bowlers at the end of a long hike. Pretty spot too!

469 East Ojai Avenue, OjaiIt’s what you want after a day of wine tasting coming down from Santa Barbra. The chicken is very flavorful with a great smokey char in the skin, though I will say the white meat was a tad dry, but I still ate my quarter bird.
Cardamon carrots and the potatoes were honestly a standout, and so was the butter for the bread — super rich and smooth. I also liked the hummus. I kinda just liked everything here, even the baklava that came with the picnic pack was great too!

Majestic Oak Vineyard and Wine Tasting
321 E Ojai Ave, OjaiAfter strolling the shops around downtown my partner and I stumbled across this wine tasting room. You walk down a small flight of stairs directly into a cozy patio with a good amount of tables in the front and additional seating in the back. For the wine tasting it was only $20 and you get to sample about 5 different wines. Such a great deal in my opinion. Our server was awesome and she broke down each wine to us as she poured our glasses. Ended up having one of the best sauv blancs here. Definitely returning on my next Ojai visit!

The portions are generous and the prices are great, which is hard to find these days. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, with plenty of parking right next door. My favorites are the green curry and the chicken satay, so good! Ordering for pickup is also super easy: just call ahead or place your order online.

1002 East Ojai Avenue, OjaiWe randomly stopped here for lunch. It was a very hot day and a little after the regular lunch time. Nonetheless we were shown to a table right away. The place has a fabulous atmosphere, the staff were super helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. We soon had our lunch and it was delicious! The prices were reasonable! I’d happily go back anytime! Thank you such a pleasant and memorable experience!
