I brought in a newly-rescued 3 yo male pitty with really long nails hoping he wouldn't need to be muzzled (I had only had this dog for 3 days) and to my total delight, Serena was able to trim Frank's nails without a muzzle despite his near total lack of cooperation. She takes nail clippings as walk-ins which is great, she just really knows what she is doing, especially with the fussy little bullies. Great local business.

The Ultimutt Pet Spa in Ojai

They were AMAZING with my two dogs! One of my dogs is older and a grouch when it comes to grooming and ended up biting the groomer we did have to pay a small fee which is totally fine and expected but they were so understanding towards the incident and handled it so professionally. My dogs look amazing and I would totally recommend getting your dogs an appointment here! The staff is so sweet!

We were excited for comedy night and enjoyed the venue and most of the show. Unfortunately at the end of the night, the host, Jake Gallo, stopped doing comedy and launched into an extended political rant after seeing an Israeli flag at a nearby ranch. He repeatedly talked about Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, and genocide. It wasn’t a joke or a brief comment—it became an angry political monologue that completely changed the atmosphere. We came to laugh, not to be lectured about one of the world’s most divisive political issues. It made the room uncomfortable enough that we left. Ojai Beverage is a great place, and we’d gladly return, but we hope they keep future comedy nights focused on comedy rather than partisan political activism.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HIDDEN GEM. The burgers here are SO GOOD. Also, they are very generous with the tots. Surprised these fine folks aren’t open into the evening, I’m guessing they’d sell a lot of burgers to Punch Bowlers at the end of a long hike. Pretty spot too!

Majestic Oak Vineyard and Wine Tasting

After strolling the shops around downtown my partner and I stumbled across this wine tasting room. You walk down a small flight of stairs directly into a cozy patio with a good amount of tables in the front and additional seating in the back. For the wine tasting it was only $20 and you get to sample about 5 different wines. Such a great deal in my opinion. Our server was awesome and she broke down each wine to us as she poured our glasses. Ended up having one of the best sauv blancs here. Definitely returning on my next Ojai visit!

Best Thai food in town. They’re located near several other Asian restaurants, but if you’re looking for authentic, fresh Thai cuisine, this is the place. The portions are generous and the prices are great, which is hard to find these days. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, with plenty of parking right next door. My favorites are the green curry and the chicken satay, so good! Ordering for pickup is also super easy: just call ahead or place your order online.
