The whole staff and Dr. Fahmy have been nothing but amazing especially during the hard times. They have been very understanding, patient, compassionate, caring and kind. They truly care about the animals and it is not your other stereotypical veterinarian office where they rush you in and out. They absolutely care and so kind and sweet to your fur babies. Definitely a great recommendation and happy to have my fur baby in their hands.

651 South Ventura Road, OxnardOver a year ago I started to go to Dr Jan with Koumei, my then 13 year old cat. We learn he had diabetes. They worked with me and my budget and we got my cat on some insulin. Cat saw Dr Jan almost every 3 weeks for 6 months before he passed away last year (2025) on Feb 23rd at 14.5 years old. After I called the office to let them know I got a card in the mail saying they were sorry for my lost. Then again I got another letter saying Dr Jan has made a donation to a very good cause.

I went in just wanting something quick and spicy, but ended up really enjoying the whole experience. The place had a lively, casual vibe and the staff were friendly and moved things along quickly even though it was fairly busy. I ordered a chicken sandwich combo and the first thing that stood out was how crispy and fresh the chicken was — it had that perfect crunch on the outside while staying juicy inside. The heat level was no joke either, but it was flavorful rather than just painful, which I appreciated. The seasoning and sauces made everything come together really well, especially with the fries on the side which picked up all that extra flavor. Portion size was solid, definitely filling without feeling too heavy afterward. Overall, it’s a great spot if you’re in the mood for something spicy, satisfying, and straightforward, and I’d absolutely go back again to try a higher spice level next time.

Beautiful savory sauce with just a hint of spicy.
Not fancy but just superior pizza regardless.
Was so impressed went back the next night to make sure I wasn’t hallucinating.
Got another sausage and cheese but also decided to try the carnitas pizza as well.
Both were absolutely stellar. This is my favorite pizza in Southern California. Totally reminds me of when pizza was consistently amazing back in the day. Love this spot.

The fries were cooked perfectly and the chicken sandwich was delicious. I have never thought to try sambal on a chicken sandwich or as a dipper for fries but I’ll be doing that in the future. If you’re in the area, definitely give them a look.
