Aromas has outstanding breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus, as well as regular specials. During our stay, we ate here many times and had a great time each time. It's worthwhile to take a vacation!

2111 Portola Rd Suite A, VenturaI have had the armor heavy duty dog door that is compatible with my sliding glass door for more then a year now and I decided to replace the flap because it was dirty because I did not clean it often enough. I mixed up some of the pieces and was unable to reassemble the door. Hi Tech pet took care of me in a way i have not see in a long time!!! they sent me a video and It turned out I had messed up the pieces so badly that it still was not going to help me. Once I let them know they took a door apart in the factory and sent me images with the individual pieces labeled so I was finally able to fix what I broke. I will be a Hi Tech pet customer for life!! they in fact care about their customers!!!

Alex is always incredibly helpful, friendly, and patient. He also went out of his way to assist me with downloading the PetSmart app so I could take advantage of available deals. It’s clear he genuinely cares about customers and making sure they have a positive experience. Excellent customer service—I really appreciate the extra help and will definitely continue shopping here! He keeps me informed of available promotions on their app to ensure I register. He also kindly offers to carry the heavy cat litter and dog food bags I purchase. Employees here are always helpful to assist me with items on lower or higher shelves as I have a difficult time squatting due to two total knee replacements. Ill keep shopping here due to their helpful and friendly staff and variety of products. I've also recently been informed by Alex that they can also ship to my home or to their location and staff will carry out to my car. Shopping made easy-I love it.

Moore Veterinary Care: Dr. Karen Moore DVM
853 E Main St, VenturaIf it wasn't for Moore, my childhood tabby cat would have died a year prior and my family and I wouldn't have had an extra year with her. The vet treated my cat well, and it amazes me how she's able to keep it together when creatures are going through a lot of discomfort. She also treated my boyfriend's friend's bearded dragon, as well as his own Chinese Water Dragon lizard (it's great to have a local vet who can work with reptiles by the way!) Karen Moore always had their best interest in mind and made certain the pet owner knew every possible outcome, as well as how things could/would work. She gave me peace of mind.The staff are also very good. They're polite, friendly, and always enthusiastic to help a client.I don't care what a couple of reviewers say. They're obviously using the vet as a scapegoat for their frustration and pain during hardship, because Moore did everything she could to help the pets either I or my husband brought in.

The Fish selection and presentation of the tanks are always great and have never brought diseases home from this store to my tanks. I think where the store really shines is the vast selection of fish supplies as everything is always stocked neatly. Always have fun here

He is healed now and has normal function of his wing. My bulldog gets regular vaccines and annual checkups and she loves the staff! Dr. Moore is very knowledgeable on exotic pet care and I trust her whenever my rabbit has any health issues. My babies are happy and healthy thanks to the amazing team.

2443 Portola Rd, VenturaWOW! I needed to board my cat for 17 days and was really anxious about leaving her for that long, but Kittyland made the entire experience completely stress-free.
The facilities look exactly like the photos — clean, organized, and very well maintained. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that a lot of care goes into keeping the space comfortable and welcoming for the cats.
One thing that really stood out compared to other boarding options in the area is that Carrie includes updates, check-in photos, and solo playtime without charging extra fees. She was also very responsive whenever I texted to check in, and it was incredibly reassuring to see that my cat was comfortable, happy, and getting lots of attention while I was away.
Kittyland is run by Carrie and her family, and that personal touch truly sets it apart. It never felt like a large commercial boarding facility — it felt like a place run by people who genuinely love and understand cats.
I drive 30 minutes to board my cat here, and I would absolutely do it again. For anyone nervous about leaving their cat during a long trip, Kittyland gave me complete peace of mind.

I took her five week course with my new puppy Petey who is a large breed pitbull puppy and he has done exceedingly well with her instructions and it’s not just her teaching our dogs, It’s her teaching US for the most part, which is kind of funny, but I enjoyed her Class very much so did Petey and I would recommend it to anybody who thinks their dog could benefit from some basic obedience! She arrived on time and did a great assessment of the situation. She figured out that the dog has anxiety, and worked with the veterinarian to get a medication prescribed. She also worked with the owner - an elderly woman - to discuss barking and peeing issues. I highly recommend Ventura Pet Wellness to anyone!

6100 Telegraph Rd Ste F, VenturaThis place is a real gem! For starters, it is a high-quality Thai food restaurant on the east end. It's also the best Thai restaurant in Ventura, in my opinion.
The food is fresh, authentic, and tastes wonderful. Even their kids' menu is really good! Plus, you can color with your children on the paper tabletop while you wait for your food to arrive.
We've had the same server twice, and he’s been great both times. Tonight, it was packed, and the staff and cooks did an excellent job. I think people are starting to come from all over Ventura to dine here. If so, it's definitely worthwhile.

Tatiana's Coffee & Tea
2470 E Main St, VenturaOne of the very few owner staffed coffee houses in town, which makes it hands down the best customer service coffee house in town. My daughter and I get their proprietary spice added to our iced coffees, which also makes it our favorite tasting coffee in town. They have wonderful empanadas of various style, and delicious pastries. The store front is difficult to notice when driving by, but we are so lucky to have done the ever so slight bit of looking. Immigrant Son Caffe
543 E Main St, VenturaEvery time I’m in town, I walk down Main Street and see a long line outside what appears to be an unassuming restaurant. We finally decided to ask the hostess about the wait, and we were surprised to hear it would only be about 5–10 minutes, so we decided to give it a try. We didn’t wait long at all, and now we understand why there’s always a line. We were very impressed with the wait staff. They were prompt with our drink orders, attentive throughout our meal, and happy to answer all of our questions. I ordered the Breakfast Lasagna from the Morning Specialties menu. What’s not to love about prosciutto, cotto, bacon, spinach, cheese, and eggs? The homemade marinara sauce was fresh and flavorful and tied everything together perfectly. The other dish we ordered was the Avocado Pomodoro Toast. I’m usually not a tomato person, but wow, the fresh Roma tomatoes and onions piled on a generous portion of avocado and topped with two poached eggs completely won me over. Both dishes were incredible, and we were very impressed with our first experience here. The couple next to us was sharing the Molise Eggs Benedict, and the shaved prosciutto and pancetta looked amazing. Judging by how quickly they cleaned their plates, it clearly tasted just as good as it looked. My husband enjoys Bloody Marys, and he really liked the spice level of theirs. But the standout feature was the skewer of three hand-stuffed Spanish olives — one stuffed with blue cheese, one with garlic, and the other with a house-made Italian salsa-style mixture. Every single one was incredible. He actually ordered a second Bloody Mary just for the olives… and, of course, as an excuse to enjoy another drink. Seriously, the management at Immigrant Son's should add those olives to the sides menu. We absolutely would have ordered them! We’re already looking forward to our next dining adventure at Immigrant Son, and we’ll definitely need to try the Immigrant Son's Oxnard location some time too.

The beer was decent, I'm not a super huge beer drinker so the fact that it was drinkable was a plus.
For food, I ordered the steak sandwich. The sandwich was served with battered fries and ketchup. The fries were nice and if you're daring, ask for some of their spicy ketchup. It has a really spicy kick to it, I did enjoy it a lot.
The steak sandwich was better than average. It was steak strips and bell peppers topped with chimmichuri on sourdough. It came out pretty nice. It wasn't fancy but it made for a tasty sandwich.
Service was helpful and friendly. No complaints here .
