“The bi-weekly farm stand offers a bounty of freshly harvested produce. Typical greens include kale, chard, mustards, dandelion, amaranth, spring, gem, romaine. Other standards are radishes, eggplant, onion, tomatoes, beets, carrots, zucchini, squash. Various seasonal herbs are available. Supply depends upon the harvest. A very positive presence in the neighborhood!”

“We just had our wedding at the Secret Garden in January, and it was everything I hoped for AND MORE. I toured quite a number of other venues in Orange County/San Diego, but the all-inclusive factor is what really drew me in. I currently live in Boston, but it was so easy to plan with the team while being remote. The entire Secret Garden / Epic Events team is amazing! I loved working with all of them - Laura, Mary, Kristina, Brian, and others. I know they're super busy with many people's weddings, but they really make you feel like you're ~special~. We had our food catered with Eco Caters, which is something I was SUPER nervous about. My family can be really picky about food, so I was concerned about how they would react to it. Turns out, they loved it so much they even ate all of the leftovers that was packed for us. We had so many compliments from guests on the food! I also loved working with our main point of contact Christine. There are a couple small details I'd change about my wedding if I could redo it, but having it any other venue is definitely not one of them.”

“MashAllah really clean prayer space and spacious parking area. Carpets were SUPER soft. Can be a bit hard to find, I believe there’s another way to enter via a private road so be weary of that. Also only certain doors to the musala are unlocked throughout the day for anybody praying while traveling.”

“Joining IADAC was single handedly the best thing I've done as a new dealer. The help provided, and amazing perks are worth the membership and then some! I didn't know how much I didn't know, until they helped educate me. I'm constantly asking for help and advice and they are very willing to help.”

“I am so grateful for FACE Foundation. My Cane Corso pup had surgery on her eye that stemmed from a hereditary condition. Without treatment could have resulted in the loss of her eye. The FACE foundation was quick to respond to our application and made the whole process easier for us to get the care my girl needed. Miss Fiona and I thank you so much for the wonderful support and assistance you have provided us. ❤️”

“This place and the staff are amazing, it's rare to be treated with respect at food banks and these people definitely have a passion for helping the community out and they don't ask for any documentation which makes it obvious they help anybody regardless of their citizenship status. I am very pleased you helped me today, times are tough. God bless all of you and your organization.”

The volunteers are so helpful in helping you with what you need and both Myrice and Helene are such beautiful persons! they care about you as if they've known you your their whole life and make sure you are felt welcomed and never turn you away for anything.. I've been able to find clothing for my growing daughter and the best part is I can always bring back what didn't fit and it's been a great place to also bring my donation items.. they take anything from Men/Women clothing, shoes, accessories Baby/Kids clothes, toys, crib, maternity Books, new toiletries, houseware and more!! It's great to have a place like this to help the Jewish community”

“I'm stupid obsessed with diagonal crosswalks. This one traffic feature makes Encinitas Mainstreet one of my favorite North County destinations. The whole area is more pedestrian friendly with these crosswalks included in the design. There are a variety of breweries, restaurants, and things to do. I'm a huge fan of Candles on Tap- where you can create your own custom scented candle. Modern Times Taproom is a fave when I'm wanting a beer and I love the gelato shop. Parking can be a little tricky, but that's how it goes when you're steps away from the city's best dining/retail AND the beach. Go for sunset, stay for drinks & dinner. It's a great place to be!”

“Every time I arrive at LJCC, I am warmly greeted by a friendly face: I feel very welcomed! The IPhone/IPad class is excellent. Deborah is very patient with all of our questions. I’m excited to be learning Canasta and, again the instructor is excellent. The center is an asset to the La Jolla community’”

“This was the first time my son participated in summer camp. I joined through level up SD and picked them mostly because their program fit my work schedule. My son had an absolute blast! Of course he has asked to return for his other breaks. Thank you so much to Mariah & the clairemont B&G club staff members for your kindness, enthusiasm and creativity while working with all of the kids of this club. My son was never bored , never complained and got the best sleep all summer long lol. We will definitely be a returning family. Thank you again for all of your hard work !! Until next time ! :)”

“They have the easiest donation site I've ever seen. All you have to do is park, drop off the stuff near or in the bins, and leave. It's usually never crowded and you can even ask for a receipt.”

“I've been coming to the 6th step house for 15 out 30 years of my sobriety and I am very proud to call this place my home group. I got sober in Boston and was quite use to the meetings there and struggled when I came to California. I went to many different meetings trying to find place where I felt comfortable. Finally I landed at a step house Saturday nooner and found the best meeting in San Diego! There was a lot of laughter, people made me feel welcome. Best of all the focus was about alcoholism and how to live sober, be useful and live from the heart. There are many meeting there and is all inclusive to everyone.”

“The best place to learn about pet rabbits and to find your new family member!! They have so many beautiful, sweet bunnies waiting for homes. They also give instruction on rabbit care and have grooming and boarding available. They even have their own shop where you can get literally everything your bunny will need, including fresh hay at a discount that's so much better than what you'd buy in a pet store. They rescue so many and rely on donations. They're amazing.”

“This organization has helped me in my recovery to transition from a walker to a recumbent and now an upright. I am Veteran with numerous disabilities and Nico has been exceptionally supportive in my recovery. It’s been a long ongoing recovery, but organizations like these make it a little easier to get out and have a little better quality of life. Thank you brother and Semper Fidelis”

“Beautiful shop, but too pricey for me. Used puzzles at $5.00. No guarantee they are complete. I'd rather buy new with a guarantee at that price. They did have great puzzles. They are obviously not flying off the shelves at that price point.”

“This is truly the most amazing preschool around!! My son started elsewhere at a school that I had heard the best things about, but unfortunately I just felt like they didn't make the effort with each individual kid. They made me feel like it was him and I worried it would affect his view of school and learning. Thankfully we switched to The Village Church and we had the absolute best experience from day 1! The teachers and director went above and beyond to build a relationship with my son and he absolutely loved school and thrived from that point on. They have such an incredible understanding of child development and know how to reach and help each child grow in their own way. They prepared him both academically and emotionally to be ready for kindergarten and I am so happy to say he is thriving thanks to this school! My daughter is now going here and loves it just as much! We feel so lucky to have found this wonderful place!!”

“I'm a long time Y member. Toby Wells and Mission Valley are the Y's closest to me. I'm a senior and mainly use the gym equipment. I used to take more classes but there are not as many yoga classes as there used to be. The Y has a good online list of its classes now.”

“EvoNexus is a MUST for startups! You get what you put in; but if you are ready to learn, you'd be hard-pressed to find a more knowledgeable, experienced, and connected team elsewhere. In a clean, bright, and supportive environment, our startup's deck was scrubbed, pitch perfected, and strategy aligned before introductions were made to investors and customers. We truly could not have gone so far, so fast, without Rory, Admiral Davis, Marco, and Todd.”

“My daughter has been playing guitar for 8 years and has taken lessons for 7 of those years. She has had several guitar teachers in the past but Steve is by far the best around!!! He makes the lessons challenging but they are invaluable. She has learned so much and she is now playing in her own band. Thanks, Steve, for all you've done for Ella!”
