“I want to commend Fairfield Subaru for their excellent Service Department - my first-ever experience with their team confirmed my faith and loyalty to the Subaru brand.
The details: Having recently moved to the North Bay, when my mechanic diagnosed a failed Data Communications Module (DCM) on my 2019 Outback, he referred me to a Service Bulletin put out by Subaru regarding this issue. I made an appointment with Subaru of Fairfield and their team were complete pros: David, the Service Advisor, took in my car and kindly provided me with a loner; Ron, the Service Manager, confirmed my mechanic's diagnosis and had a new DCM sent overnight from another Subaru dealership in the Western US. Subaru Fairfield installed a new DCM and Subaru battery the next day (pictured).
The dealership is top notch - beautiful showroom, first-rate parts department, and comfortable lounge. I highly recommend Fairfield Subaru!”

“What I love about The Oil Connection is that they are a local Ma & Pa shop, I will almost always prefer to support small businesses.
Also, they don’t hound you with add on’s. They don’t ask you to change your cabin air filter, or other oils, etcetera. You come in, the woman that greets you is very personable and greets you with a smile and acts she is happy you are there! They provide exceptional service and they give you what you came in for and you leave, everything is simple and you don’t need to come out of your car. Thats what keeps me coming back for all four of my vehicles.”
“The mechanics over at Multi-Tech Auto are amazing. I first heard about them by Googling local mechanics near me, came across their website, and saw some great reviews.
The first time I went to them was for a clutch issue. My car wouldn't go into gear when I pressed the clutch, so I took it to Multi-Tech Auto to check it out. They had to remove the transmission to inspect the clutch and discovered there was an issue from the last time it was replaced, only about three years earlier. I don't drive my car hard or abuse the clutch. Sure, I like to have a little fun now and then, but ultimately the shop owner, Jeff, showed me exactly what was wrong, even providing pictures. He confirmed the clutch needed replacing.
The turnaround time was excellent. It was a big job, but they had it done in about two days. For comparison, the last person who replaced my clutch took a couple of weeks and even installed it incorrectly. Jeff also recommended replacing the rack and pinion since the transmission was already out. I agreed, and when I left, my clutch felt smooth and the car drove great.
The second time I went to Multi-Tech Auto was for a cracked radiator. I was on my way to college early in the morning, over halfway through my hour-long drive, when I saw steam coming from my vehicle. There was no shoulder to pull over on, and the engine temperature stayed normal until l
finally found a safe spot. I called for a tow, and as soon as Multi-Tech Auto opened, I gave them a call. They were more than happy to help. They replaced the radiator and any necessary parts to ensure I would be back on the road without issues, and they had my car ready the same day.
My third visit was for a rack and pinion issue. It turned out the bolt had broken. At first, I thought it was just an alignment problem, but eventually, I couldn't make full turns. I took the car back, and they fixed it quickly. Since it was the part they had previously replaced, they didn't charge me a dime thanks to their 36-month/36,000-mile parts and service warranty.
Multi-Tech Auto has taken great care of me, and I am sure they will do the same for every customer they serve. They are an honest shop that does excellent work at a fair price. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a trustworthy mechanic. Not only do you get great service with a fast turnaround, but you also leave with peace of mind knowing their warranty has you covered if anything goes wrong.”

I was traveling from the SF bay area To Rancho Cordova and right around the halfway point, I had to call a tow truck because my car was making an unusual noise. Everyone I encountered was friendly and nice and the establishment itself was very clean.
They took care of me really quickly, especially since I was a walk-in. They found the problem, even brought me in to view the car up on the racks so when they explained the issue, I could see for myself. As a woman, this is not always the case and that was just the cherry on top of the excellent interactions I had!
If I lived in the area, I would most certainly bring my cars in to Midway Muffler!”
