Theres a grooming area for dogs!!!! So lovely… i was going there and i saw some dogs being washed and groomed. They look so happy… i think they take good care of those dogs…
Also. Theres cats for adoption. So lovely and great like they have food and whatnot. Oh also guinnea pigs!!!!! They give them corn and they look nice healthy and clean… pigs taken good care of… thanks for taking good care of the little animals. Some pet stores dont… i think this one does a good job.

We’re from the Prunedale area and have tried other veterinarians in our area but nothing compares to Gilroy Veterinarian Hospital. And it’s not just the amazing and dedicated veterinarians that work there but all the staff and faculty are friendly, compassionate and professional. I wish I could give them 10 stars. 6474 Automall Parkway, GilroyWe came to Rich with Akina K9 at the beginning of this year with a 2 year old Cane Corso. Deebo is an oversized powerful dog, so having confidence and control when we’re out with him has always been extremely important to us. We had done some prior training but Deebo complied much better with his trainer than with us. Our walks meant dealing with pulling, guests coming over meant managing his excitement and jumping, and highly distracting environments could make it difficult to keep his attention and be able to recall him.
Today, he feels like a completely different dog. He is dialed in! We have full control of him with just a slip lead, proper e-collar training, commands are followed consistently, and the excited jumping on guests is GONE. Even more impressive is his ability to remain attentive and responsive to us when there are high-level distractions around him.
I’ll admit, when we were first given the pre-training homework, it seemed daunting. There was a level of structure, discipline, and consistency required from us as owners that initially felt like starting over to puppy stages. But we quickly realized that there was a reason behind every expectation. We did private 1:1 sessions as well as Board & Train while we were on vacation.
As we stayed consistent and disciplined with the homework and began seeing the changes in Deebo, everything started to make sense. We understood that successful dog training isn’t just about teaching the dog—it’s also about teaching us, the owners, how to communicate clearly, establish expectations, and follow through consistently. Once we committed to the process, we started seeing those small changes turn into huge ones.
What we appreciate most is that the training hasn’t changed Deebo’s personality—it has simply helped bring out the very best version of him. He’s still our sensitive, energy filled, loving Deebo, but now he is calmer, more confident, attentive, obedient, and able to enjoy so many more experiences with us.
There’s something incredibly rewarding about being able to walk into a highly distracting environment with a 145-pound Cane Corso and know that his attention is still on us. That level of trust, communication, and control is something we didn’t have consistently, and it’s probably one of the greatest results of this entire journey.
Seeing the dog Deebo has become is proof that the process works when you trust it and stay committed to it.
We’re incredibly grateful for the time, patience, knowledge, accountability, and guidance from the team at Akina K9 that has gone into Deebo’s training.

Primal Canine Dog Training
8395 Forest Street, GilroyAs new dog owners, my family wanted to have the best investment in our Labrador Retriever puppy's training so we could build a mutually rewarding life with him. I began exploring all kinds of programs with various trainers around the idea and Primal Canine stood apart from the get go because:
(1) Erin is an amazing, kind and professional person to work with. She is prompt, yet not pushy. She worked with the facts and empathy for our needs and budget to help us get to the right program.
(2) The trainer we were assigned to was forthcoming, efficient and excellent with the training. He was clear with what we could expect and what the constraints were.
(3) Primal Canine is local to where we live, and we really preferred to go with a nearby small business, as both one we could support and build a relationship with, and for convenience.
Within the 3 weeks of board and train our puppy went through, he came back with solid foundations and ability to understand and respond positively to basic commands. Primal's role does not end with the program - they constantly support with our needs and questions even after graduating from B&T, and actually offer a lifetime of resources to help us grow and flourish with our new best friend.
We could not be happier we went with Primal and would recommend them to anyone who is looking to build a rewarding relationship with their dogs.

The booking process starts with an email that spells out what is included in the service plus a questionnaire so they can better understand the needs of your dog. Suzana provides you with all the details you need and if you have questions she gets back to you quickly. A contract and invoice is provided via email and then drop off and pick up times are set. They are by appointment so no drop ins but having a booked time makes sure you get individual attention at drop off and pickup. The boarding facility can accommodate any type of dog you have. Plenty of parking. They accept all major credit cards and offer payment plans. The staff and owners are great and some of the best customer service around. The focus is on what is best for the dogs and that is what matters most. It is a small operation and small team so I recommend booking as early as possible to confirm your stay. You can reach them by email, text or leave a voicemail if you call. I always recommend my friends, family and clients to them!

280 East 10th St D, GilroyThis happens to be the best pho spot in town. I was pleased to have found a pho spot in the area that was this flavorful. The staff were very friendly and ensured the restaurant was clean. It is a very large with enough space to accommodate large groups of guests.
As far as the food goes-
I got the oxtail/ rare beef pho it was quite flavorful but the oxtail was mostly fat so I think ill stick to either rare beef or shrimp pho next time. The chicken wings were ok but went better with the chili oil at the table.

Kamen an und bekamen erst mal eine Platz direkt in der Sonne zugeteilt. Wir dachten uns, naja, hilft ja nichts. Dann ging das Warten los. Wir saßen 25 Minuten in der prallen Sonne, ohne auch nur beachtet zu werden. Nach uns kommende Gäste wieder bedient, wir hatten weder Schatten noch Getränke. Irgendwann wurde ein Schattenplatz frei. Den schnappten wir uns dann. Und nach insgesamt 35 Minuten konnten wir auch endlich unsere Getränke bestellen (kurzzeitig waren wir schon am Überlegen lieber zum goldenen M zu fahren) Wir bestellten als zeitgleich Getränke und essen. Essen kam dann auch. Nur leider hatten wir kein Bedteck. Also wieder warten. Nach dem wir leicht angsäuert waren, genossen wir aber das leckere Essen. Die restlichen Pizza gaben wir der Bedienung zum einpacken. Wir bezahlten und warteten wieder - auf die eingepackte Pizza. Irgendwann ging mein Mann nach oben zur Theke, wo die Bedienung stand und Besteck abtrocknen. Auf unsere Frage wo denn die Pizza sei, "oh die hab ich ganz vergessen, da drüben steht sie" Naja ist halt alles andre als gut gelaufen an diesem Tag. Aber das Essen war wirklich lecker.

The tasting consisted of four tastings with the Viognier being our favorite. Service was great as well. Pets are allowed which we personally enjoyed seeing and petting the puppies. Outside seating was plenty and the weather was enjoyable to enjoy sipping our tastings.
