I'd like to say the more people I meet, the more I love dogs, and this is regardless of even their owners. I'm assuming this statement is a common theme for most good-hearted dog lovers with nothing uncommon here. *referring to some of the negative remarks on her reviews. She's the opposite of your disconnected groomers who are just in it for their money. Trustworthy and kind sums it up.

They were fast and adressed all our concerns. The pricing is reasonable and we couldn't ask for more. Very worth a 40 minute drive from where we live for this exceptional vet.

The vet was not pushy or judgemental like another vet in Hollister. They gave our pet and our family peace of mind. After we put our beloved dog down, the whole staff sent a condolence card. The views and scenery are beautiful, and the staff are personable, attentive, and friendly. It was my first time coming into the Hollister Airport and I was simply looking for a spot to relax and charge up my electronics before continuing on. I was recommended here by folks on the airport and everything was great! Paul the waiter was absolutely fantastic, very friendly and on top of everything! Food was excellent as well. Highly recommend the buffalo wings and the cheesecake for dessert. Will definitely be back in the near future.

The arepas were made fresh, so they do take a little time to prepare but it’s definitely worth the wait. I really enjoyed my iced Española coffee but would ask for it to be half the sweetness since I do prefer my coffee stronger but I was delicious! If you like coffee on the sweeter side, it is prefect as is. I will definitely be back soon as the arepas are calling my name. ?

(First physical stay visit, only the 2nd time ordering from here. We ordered their famous tri tip sandwich a couple weeks ago to share. THAT WAS DELISH! The fried onions gave it a nice crunch and the cheddar was like enough for a non huge cheese lover in warm sandwiches. Quantity of tri tip was pretty decent. )
The fried chicken was an 8 piece bucket, with 6 jalapeño cheddar cornbread muffins -- i enjoyed this. It came with a sweet butter of some sort. Their chicken had a nice thick batter and salt flakes but we felt the chicken needed more seasoning or at least a bit more salt-- and I'm really sensitive to salt so it definitely could use more salt. OVERALL, nothing too special or unique about this chicken.
The parm Brussels were yummy! And we added the apple slaw because I love sides and it didn't disappoint. The mash and gravy was fair, nothing special. Total cost of the meal was eye opening at $86 for all of this. Though portions if the sides were decent. KIND OF A LOT for a fried chicken bucket meal, I'd say. Probably wouldn't order this again but definitely will be back to try their regular menu.

I love that they have a lot of protein and topping options and it’s a plus that they don’t charge extra for avocado! It is a little bit more expensive but it worth the price, the quality shows it! We ended up purchasing 2 bottles of their Chardonnay. The nice workers provided us with an ice bucket and a carafe of ice water. I highly recommend coming here. Don't forget to take a picture in front of their adorable "LOVE" sign!

300 Maranatha Dr, HollisterWhen I visit my parents, I love coming here. It's really close to town, so you don't have to drive far to enjoy some wine. They have plenty of seating, inside and outside. More seating outside, so try to go during good weather days.
Their charcuterie plates are always delicious. Great spot.

2975 Buena Vista Rd, HollisterThe most wonderful pet shelter I have ever been to. I volunteered here to get out of the house when I first moved to California and was quite lonely. This is genuinely the most amazing place ever. The cats and dogs get outdoor spaces and so much room to roam and move around. And they even take care of local feral cats.I wish I still lived close enough to volunteer. It was genuinely so lovely.

1331 South St, HollisterHollister Animal Shelter has been there when we’ve needed a safe place to bring lost animals. We’ve used the shelter twice to drop off lost dogs, and each time the staff was caring and focused on reuniting the animals with their owners.
It’s reassuring to know the shelter takes good care of the animals and handles these situations thoughtfully. A valuable community resource.
