Hi there, if you have concerns about a person, maybe you should talk to them instead of assuming. First of all, I am the owner of the Belgian Malinois. No, I was not in a bad mood. I was actually on a time crunch and trying to wash my dog like any other person that comes in there. I do not work for the Pet Store. And my only comment about cleaning up after myself was to let them know that I had already done it so they did not need to do it. When I use somebody else’s facility, I generally like to clean up after myself, and it wasn’t a dig at you. It was just informing the employees that it had already been done so they didn’t have to do it. They support retired and active K-9 units. So I appreciate the gratitude they pay forward. If I can make their job a little easier for doing that I do.

I'd like to say the more people I meet, the more I love dogs, and this is regardless of even their owners. I'm assuming this statement is a common theme for most good-hearted dog lovers with nothing uncommon here. *referring to some of the negative remarks on her reviews. She's the opposite of your disconnected groomers who are just in it for their money. Trustworthy and kind sums it up.

Animal Hospital of Hollister
191 San Felipe Road Ste F, HollisterWe were traveling through town in our truck and travel trailer. Unfortunately our kitty Myles lost his battle with heart failure and started loosing control of his hind quarters. We looked up the closest vet and this was it. Dr Bartlett and her office staff, Cherry and another sweet man, were so helpful. Dr Bartlett was in a surgery, yet was able to step away for a few minutes to give our sweet boy some pain medication so he could pass comfortably. She even came out to him in our travel trailer to give him the dose of medication. It was a terrible sudden moment that required immediate help with from people who had never met us or our pets. They were kind and compassionate. Cherry even hugged us as we talked to her about after care. We opted to have him cremated and they are going to ship him back to us in Washington once their receive his ashes. 💗 If we lived in the area we would definitely take our pets here. Thank you again for your help. This is an experience we will never forget.

100 Maple Street, HollisterWe did a destination wedding and decided less than 2 weeks before that we needed someone to come and check on our 4 cats twice a day. Anna and Joel were able to work with our extremely short timeline. They made time on our schedule to come meet us and the cats. Anna took notes on all the cats, their feeding schedules, and how we wanted everything done. They even offered to check the mail, bring in packages and handle trash bins if needed. While we were away they provided photos of the cats in the morning and evening. They also took time to give our very shy cats treats and Joel even got out most shy cat to come out from under the bed. When we returned they had left a couple kitty toys dressed up as a bride and groom with a congratulations card. Absolutely recommend them for your pet sitting needs. They are very professional, kind and clearly have a passion for animals.

1301 Nash Rd, HollisterMy dog was generally a good boy but had become leash aggressive and was selectively listening to me, while taking advantage of my lax "rules" and laying on furniture. He had an aggressive moment with my cat (off leash and unprovoked) that sent me reeling. This is where K9 comes in. New to this area: I needed some refresh training for me and my 4 yr old pup and a neighbor recommended K9. From my first interaction, to the assessment, to training scheduling, to his week of training day camp and finally in person learning (for me to also learn the best practices), I am 100% impressed! Training for us both is easy and effective. The staff are all welcoming and amazing! The facility is clean and inviting. I would not normally consider boarding my pup, but I would totally bring him here! If you're on the fence - give them a try! You won't be disappointed!

628 San Benito Street, HollisterGood variety of beers, the staff were very friendly. The best part was the food. The Tri-tip and pulled pork sandwiches were freaking excellent. Best I've had in a long time. Think it's made by Danny Smokes n Grill, but it was very delicious. Pictures are of the pulled pork. I don't usually like coleslaw, but this one complimented the sandwich very well. Definitely would recommend finding a beer you like and getting these sandwiches. Was great to share on date night with the wife.

The views and scenery are beautiful, and the staff are personable, attentive, and friendly. The atmosphere was charming, our waitress was bubbly and attentive, and the food… I cannot rave enough about the food. I had their John Wayne Omelet with hash browns and homemade salsa. The gravy was perfect and both my husband and myself seriously considered drinking the salsa. 10/10 would recommend.

It’s fantastic that it hosts great hours compared to most airport restaurants that are closed on the weekends and close early. I’ve had the fish tacos, the vegetarian sandwich, the waffles, the salad, as well as onion rings and potato fingers. Nothing ever disappoints and service is decent. Will definitely return.

We ended up purchasing 2 bottles of their Chardonnay. The nice workers provided us with an ice bucket and a carafe of ice water. I highly recommend coming here. Don't forget to take a picture in front of their adorable "LOVE" sign!

1331 South St, HollisterHollister Animal Shelter has been there when we’ve needed a safe place to bring lost animals. We’ve used the shelter twice to drop off lost dogs, and each time the staff was caring and focused on reuniting the animals with their owners.
It’s reassuring to know the shelter takes good care of the animals and handles these situations thoughtfully. A valuable community resource.
