My dog has diabetes and is prone to pancreatitis so his diet is very limited. I'm so happy to have a local store that carries the Nulo Adult Trim food that we rely on for him. They also have an amazing selection of special treats (like dehydrated meats and dried fish) that we give my dog after he gets is insulin shots.

It is not just the great history of the estate which was formerly owned by Alfred Hitchcock, but the delicious and high quality wines that you can sample in this amazing setting. The current owners are very welcoming and attentive and especially dedicated to creating a great tasting experience for their guests. We spend a whole afternoon trying the different wines and I have to say it is rarely the case that I am as pleased with the sampling as I was at Armitage. Next to this, the vineyard offers amazing views. Tucked away in the redwood trees you can see for miles while overlooking the grapes from the top of the estate. When the sun sets in the afternoon, it makes for an amazing play of light and shadows. We truly loved visiting this place and will definitely come back. It is well worth a trip. If this does not convince you, please see the attached photos. I am in no way affiliated to this place, but was simply amazed by our afternoon here.

Heavenly Roadside Café
1210 Mt Hermon Rd, Scotts ValleyWe hosted a post wedding brunch here after our wedding at Waterfall Lodge. Marty was so lovely to work with in helping us set this up! They were able to stay very flexible with our group, which ended up being around 30 people, which was very helpful for putting this together fairly quickly only 2-3 weeks before the wedding.
It was a fantastic way to have a bit more time and connection in a way that is a lot more relaxed than during the wedding, with our guests, a lot of whom had flown in from a bunch of places. I would highly recommend for other couples looking to do similar events!
The food was absolutely perfect! All of our guests were very happy with it. There was more than enough for everyone to share and take some home and the buffet style serving worked out perfectly. It gave us lots of energy for the busy day of travel and packing we had ahead.

246 Kings Village Rd, Scotts ValleyI had no idea this coffee cafe even existed until my car broke down and I had to ride the bus for a week. Every bit as nice as Starbucks or Petes without the line. Very friendly staff and great tasting coffee. I must buy a bakery item next visit. They bake them fresh!

And you can get items from the place next door, which is very convenient for kids. We got them a pizza and got to have Cambodian food for us!

262 Mt Hermon Rd Unit 103, Scotts ValleyI just love when I go into a restaurant and find that there are several vegan options to choose from. That is the case at this place and it's a fun problem to figure out which entree most appeals. I ended up getting the Beyond Steak tacos and my friend went with the Soyrizo tacos. Both were good with three generous tacos and some chips and pico de gallo. Our server was friendly and attentive. As another reviewer commented, you can see the large "Laughing Monk" sign if you're coming up Scotts Valley Dr. from Highway 17 but from the front of the restaurant parking lot it's not visible. The entrance is along the right side of the building near The Penny Ice Creamery (which has vegan sorbet if you need dessert). I'll be back!
