Coast Veterinary Services
4788 Scotts Valley Dr, Scotts ValleyEvery time I take one of my dogs to Coast Veterinary Services, I know they are going to receive the most knowledgable, caring treatment. Dr Abraham always puts my animals and what's best for me ahead of all else. She explains options very clearly in a non-judgemental way. So whether it is for diagnosis or treatment, I have complete confidence that she is guiding me to the best choices for us. It's well worth the drive from Watsonville to Scotts valley to get the absolute best care.

Armitage Wines
705 Canham Rd, Scotts ValleyArmitage wines offers a truly outstanding experience. It is not just the great history of the estate which was formerly owned by Alfred Hitchcock, but the delicious and high quality wines that you can sample in this amazing setting. The current owners are very welcoming and attentive and especially dedicated to creating a great tasting experience for their guests. We spend a whole afternoon trying the different wines and I have to say it is rarely the case that I am as pleased with the sampling as I was at Armitage. Next to this, the vineyard offers amazing views. Tucked away in the redwood trees you can see for miles while overlooking the grapes from the top of the estate. When the sun sets in the afternoon, it makes for an amazing play of light and shadows. We truly loved visiting this place and will definitely come back. It is well worth a trip. If this does not convince you, please see the attached photos. I am in no way affiliated to this place, but was simply amazed by our afternoon here.

Heavenly Roadside Café
1210 Mt Hermon Rd, Scotts ValleyThis was the fantastic breakfast stop! The food was absolutely delicious, and the beautiful patio surrounded by trees created such a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere.
Everything our group ordered was excellent, from the flavorful California Omelet and Loaded Roadside Potatoes to the CAB. Even the simple sausage and eggs were cooked perfectly. Great food, generous portions, and a wonderful setting made this a memorable meal. We'd happily come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Scotts Valley!

Cruise Coffee Cafe
246 Kings Village Rd, Scotts ValleyIf you’re looking for a local coffee shop where the coffee matches the energy, what are you waiting for?
Erin, the owner, absolutely blew my mind today, not only with the coffee, but with her generosity and kindness toward her community. While I was there, someone was short on bus fare, and without hesitation she stepped in to help. Her only response was, “If I do that, please pay it forward.”
Honestly, it brought tears to my eyes. It’s a beautiful reminder that there are still angels walking among us.
Now let’s talk about the coffee. Absolutely incredible. The oat milk latte Erin made was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. Pair that with their world-class customer service, and you’ve already won me over.
But don’t stop at the coffee. Do yourself a favor and visit the bakery too. It’s rare to find a place where both the coffee and the baked goods are equally amazing, but they nailed it.
This is officially my go-to coffee spot whenever in town. Erin, thank you for the kindness, the magic, and the love you put into your business. Sending that same magic and love right back your way. Wishing you continued success. You deserve every bit of it

Jia Tellas
18 Victor Square Ext, Scotts ValleyFried rice with beef and thai tea were amazing. Also had the red curry and spicy basil chicken with flat noodles which were both pretty okay. Daughter ordered Amok (catfish cooked in a banana leaf) and said it was not that good. Staff very kind and helpful and food came out very fast.

Jersey Mike's Subs
235A Mt Hermon Rd, Scotts ValleySo I'm traveling from out of town and had 2 seniors (one of whom is half deaf), a toddler, and a 6 month old. It was chaos. Shoutout to Connor, who engaged my dad in conversation while I was getting the toddler squared away, and who gave us an excellent recommendation for some local scenery to visit whilst in town. (Shark beach down highway 1 if anyone is interested in some stunning scenery).
The other staff were also friendly (and patient! Thanks!)
The tables were in need of a wipe but I carry baby wipes with me everywhere anyway and my toddler has yet to meet a messy situation he cant make messier.
The food was exactly what we expected it to be which was why we stopped here to begin with.
