Kibbles 'n Gifts
80 Cabrillo Hwy N B, Half Moon BayGenerally good selection of pet food, toys, and accessories. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only reason that I'm giving them 4 stars is because their website indicated they had a product, but it wasn't available when I arrived at the store. I suggest you call ahead to confirm if you want to order online or are using their website to check for products.

Half Moon Bay Dog Sports- *Appointment only*
12000 San Mateo Rd, Half Moon BayWe have 3 Australian Shepherds. We’ve been to a few agility facilities throughout the Bay Area, and Half Moon Bay Dog Sports is by far the best. We love our instructor who explains concepts and skills so that I understand it, is very personable, and my girl loves being on the course! She’s always so excited whenever we pull up for lessons, her confidence has grown tremendously, and it helps us channel her anxiety. The facility is located on a farm, and they have 2 sizable fields (turf and grass). The fields and equipment are well maintained and you can rent the fields any day of the week. With this in mind, parking is challenging on the best of days.

Barterra Winery
315 Main St, Half Moon BayLoved my experience at Barterra. The owner of A grape in the Fog in Pacifica recommended me Barterra. This is a very chill place with really good wine. My friends like sweet wine and this place has some really good ones! Is hard to find places that have semi-sweet and dessert wines. Don’t skip on this place, their red and white wines are great too!

REBYL Coffee & Food
225 Cabrillo Hwy S Unit 106C, Half Moon BayBest coffee on the coast and amazingly local, fresh mini farmer's market. We always get fresh chicken/duck eggs here. They have a fantastic selection of local pre-made meals, from empanadas, pizza, and other healthy, organic options to choose from. Perfect selection of sustainable, grass fed meats as well. Also, great selection of specialty grocery items. With their focus on fresh food, you can imagine how good their breakfast burritos are. The staff is always friendly and there is a nice seating area to enjoy a perfect cup of coffee with Rosalind pastries. One of our favorite morning (or brunch!) stops.

Dad's Luncheonette
225 Cabrillo Highway South at, Kelly Ave, Half Moon BayI got their mushroom sandwich and salad on my first visit here. Both were great! Mushroom sandwich had so many great textures and flavor. Wasn't sure if I would like a non-meat sandwich but the mushroom had a robust taste to it that perfectly replaced any meat. Salad was bright and fresh. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We had our meal outside at the picnic tables because it was perfect fall weather. They were sold out of their potato chips so I'll have to come back to try it.

OceanCiders
2 Pillar Point Harbor Blvd, Half Moon BayGreat cider and super cute place! Lots of flavors rotating that you don’t see elsewhere. They aren’t a restaurant but they have little snacks and allow you to bring outside food in, just make sure you buy something from them. They have live music on the weekend which is awesome. It’s a great place to chill and look at the harbor. Just note that they can’t have people under 21 (including babies and kids) inside the rope line due to the liquor license that the coastal commission issued them.

By the Teashore
724 Main St, Half Moon BayRun dont walk to this amazing tea room in Half Moon Bay. It took us less than an hour to drive from Dublin. It far exceeded our expectations. I had met Angela, the owner during a recent trip to HMB as she was setting up. We drove over last Saturday to celebrate a birthday. From the minute we walked in, we were taken in by the lovely, homey, cozy, eclectic decor. There were six of us and we were personally welcomed by Angela. We were so overwhelmed by the attention to detail, a special platter for the birthday girl, the fact you can order the sandwiches you like, the tea you like, the fact that they bake during the day to ensure freshness, there is a salad included, fresh fruit, you get a full sandwich, not a little square. You can order extra sandwiches at a minimal fee. Everything is home made. We were delighted with our selections. Their egg salad is the best I have ever tasted and the following day I was craving it!! Angela visited our table quite a few times and told us her story. We all had questions about how she purchased decor items. Since we had the 2:00 seating, we were able to visit a little longer. Not like other places where they literally ask you to leave. We all absolutely RAVED about everything. Very reasonably priced as well. After we left, we all headed down to the beach to watch the sunset!! The perfect end to the perfect day. You WILL not be disappointed!!! It's quite a gem!!
