Pet Stores & Supplies

Kibbles 'n Gifts
80 Cabrillo Hwy N B, Half Moon BayGenerally good selection of pet food, toys, and accessories. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only reason that I'm giving them 4 stars is because their website indicated they had a product, but it wasn't available when I arrived at the store. I suggest you call ahead to confirm if you want to order online or are using their website to check for products.

Half Moon Bay Dog Sports- *Appointment only*
12000 San Mateo Rd, Half Moon BayWe have 3 Australian Shepherds. We’ve been to a few agility facilities throughout the Bay Area, and Half Moon Bay Dog Sports is by far the best. We love our instructor who explains concepts and skills so that I understand it, is very personable, and my girl loves being on the course! She’s always so excited whenever we pull up for lessons, her confidence has grown tremendously, and it helps us channel her anxiety. The facility is located on a farm, and they have 2 sizable fields (turf and grass). The fields and equipment are well maintained and you can rent the fields any day of the week. With this in mind, parking is challenging on the best of days.

Hop Dogma Brewing Co.
270 Capistrano Rd #22, Half Moon BayWe hosted an event at Hop Dogma and had the BEST experience. Ethan was incredible to work with - he was prompt with his communication and made sure our event went smoothly. This was the perfect event space. The bartenders were incredible & we got so many compliments on the space & drinks.

Jettywave Distillery
155 Broadway, Half Moon BayWent there on a Saturday afternoon. The place was packed. We tried two appetizers:Tlyudita and the grilled California dates. Both were to die for! I am craving those dates and the Tlyudita which was a Mexican tostada bougie style.

Dawn Patrol Coffee
155 Broadway, Half Moon BayAbout time I wrote a review for Dawn Patrol!!! This is my go to spot whenever I'm in half moon bay and on my way to pillar point. Cute little shack that serves fantastic coffee!!! I always get a vanilla oat latte so be warned that I really have not tried any other drinks and this review is centered around that and that alone. Absolutely phenomenal. The coffee is smooth, not a hint of bitterness and great great ratio of espresso and steamed milk and vanilla. I despise when lattes taste more vanilla than coffee or more oat milk than espresso. Dawn patrol does a great job of putting out a mean latte that warms you up in the cold half moon bay weather. I highly recommend dropping by if in the area and grabbing some coffee!

Barterra Winery
315 Main St, Half Moon BayLoved my experience at Barterra. The owner of A grape in the Fog in Pacifica recommended me Barterra. This is a very chill place with really good wine. My friends like sweet wine and this place has some really good ones! Is hard to find places that have semi-sweet and dessert wines. Don’t skip on this place, their red and white wines are great too!

REBYL Coffee & Food
225 Cabrillo Hwy S Unit 106C, Half Moon BayBest coffee on the coast and amazingly local, fresh mini farmer's market. We always get fresh chicken/duck eggs here. They have a fantastic selection of local pre-made meals, from empanadas, pizza, and other healthy, organic options to choose from. Perfect selection of sustainable, grass fed meats as well. Also, great selection of specialty grocery items. With their focus on fresh food, you can imagine how good their breakfast burritos are. The staff is always friendly and there is a nice seating area to enjoy a perfect cup of coffee with Rosalind pastries. One of our favorite morning (or brunch!) stops.

Dad's Luncheonette
225 Cabrillo Highway South at, Kelly Ave, Half Moon BayI had the mushroom burger. I'm a beef person, but thought I'd give it a try since it's one of their specialties. I really liked it and was pleasantly surprised. I still prefer a beef hamburger, but would have this mushroom burger again if looking for something different. The homemade chips were also a winner and very good soup as well. I liked all of it.

Johnny’s Half Moon Bay
547 Main St, Half Moon BayThe food was delicious and it came within 10 minutes!! I loved the ambiance, even the little touch of putting the check in a Winnie the Pooh book. The staff was very friendly and I loved their aprons. Very welcoming exept the door was hard to open. I can't wait to go back and bring friends. There is something for everyone here. We went during the week and all the tables were full inside and outside. As a local I would avoid this restaurant during the weekend. The weather was fantastic.

Trojak'knier Winery
151 Harvard Ave, Half Moon BaySaw the sign for Trojak-Knier Winery while taking a stroll down the street and decided to pop in on a Saturday afternoon. Eric welcomed us in and we sat for a tasting. It's clear from the way he speaks about each of the wines that he is very proud of them and we enjoyed each of them. Our party purchased two bottles after enjoying our tasting.

Pilot Light
9850 Cabrillo Hwy, Half Moon BayI just found out about this place after driving past it back-and-forth for years! Whoever knew this place existed? I had a late breakfast and sat at the window, watching the planes take off and land. Good breakfast, great coffee, and friendly, smiling service. I can't wait to come back here again!

Cantina @ San Benito House
356 Main St, Half Moon BayLet me start by I didn’t think much of this place when I first walked in although it was packed which is always great sign that the place must be good. The concept is different than what you are used to you have to pay first then you get a number for your table and wait for them to bring your food to you. Like someone else said I would give the service 5- star but I can’t because although the server who gave us our food was good and even put the heater for us (it was a very cold night) that’s it you get your food and no checking on you.
BUT the food WOW is all I have to say the carne asada street tacos were real good and my quesadilla I thought at first it’s just a beef quesadilla no it was Awesome the taste the crisp of the tortilla just perfect. I was about to have another one but I had to finish my cucumber cilantro ? margarita which was real good ?
