Dog Days
104 Skylonda Dr, WoodsideBari has been a great help to us with our recently-acquired four-year old dachshund, who lacked leash training and was showing aggression to other people and dogs while on leash. WIth Bari's help, we can now walk in the neighborhood without our dog reacting to people and see some progress towards dogs on leash as well. We appreciate Bari's positive training methods and her suggested calming methods and products (the thunder shirt has become a favorite).

The Village Hub Coffee Bar and Garden
3154 Woodside Rd, WoodsideNeeded a break but also needed to do a video training for work last weekend so I headed over to the Village Hub with my screen and AirPods. I ordered a matcha latte (because, L-theanine) and the almond croissant (because, duh) and they did not disappoint! The total came to $13.75 which is pretty on par with all other coffee joints- the difference was the quality here, though. The croissant had crunch in all the right places, tons of almond filling, lots of butter, and while it was definitely a sweet treat it wasn’t so sweet that I needed to take a break- I wolfed that thing down in the most mindful but ravenous way possible. The vibe is just a super relaxed hang. Meet up with friends, quench your thirst after a cycle session, get some work done, whatever. You can order to-go but why waste the paper cup? Do yourself (and the earth) a favor- sit, sip, stay. Make sure you ask each owner first but do not forget to pet the dogs! ?

The Village Hub
3154 Woodside Rd, WoodsideNice outdoor coffee shop with friendly service and delicious coffee and pastries. I ordered the house coffee which is a French roast and a carrot muffin. Lots of chairs and tables to enjoy your coffee. Shade trees are nice. Dog-friendly.

Buck’s Restaurant
3062 Woodside Rd, WoodsideI stopped by this restaurant after a hike nearby. The food is easily the best American food I’ve ever had. The place is like a museum, filled with the owner’s personal collection and gifts that were so fun to watch. Really enjoyed my time there!

Alice's Restaurant
17288 Skyline Blvd, WoodsideGreat breakfast spot in the middle of the mountains! The drive to get there is beautiful, and the outdoor seating makes the whole experience even better. The food was really good, and the staff was friendly and fast, even with a long line. Definitely worth the drive. Highly recommend!
