Dog Days
104 Skylonda Dr, WoodsideBari has been a great help to us with our recently-acquired four-year old dachshund, who lacked leash training and was showing aggression to other people and dogs while on leash. WIth Bari's help, we can now walk in the neighborhood without our dog reacting to people and see some progress towards dogs on leash as well. We appreciate Bari's positive training methods and her suggested calming methods and products (the thunder shirt has become a favorite).

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Buck’s Restaurant
3062 Woodside Rd, WoodsideWe've known this restaurant for over ten years, and we go there regularly with great pleasure. The real highlight is the decor, of course, with an incredibly interesting and even historical collection from the region! This bric-a-brac is a delight every time, especially for the children.
And the service is really friendly and fantastic!

The Village Hub
3154 Woodside Rd, WoodsideNice outdoor coffee shop with friendly service and delicious coffee and pastries. I ordered the house coffee which is a French roast and a carrot muffin. Lots of chairs and tables to enjoy your coffee. Shade trees are nice. Dog-friendly.

Alice's Restaurant
17288 Skyline Blvd, WoodsideWe LOVE Alice’s. It is a tried and true establishment. If you want to hang with a complete cross section of Northern California, this is the place to be on the weekends. Locals ride horses and “park” the while they eat. Motorcycle cubs gather and eat. Tech bros and students come here. Local mountain folk and Stanford’s faculty hang here too.
The food is great and reliable. We love the homemade chips with all sandwiches and the beef chili on cold nights.
We love it best on a rainy day when there is no crowd and the cloud mist rolls through the dining area. They are definitely missing a cold weather chicken soup staple to go with these awesome cozy winter days, but they have coffee!

Thomas Fogarty Winery
19501 Skyline Blvd, WoodsideReally solid wines. Though they to and to steer towards traditional tastes great if you are looking for a guaranteed good time.

The Village Bakery & Cafe
3052 Woodside Rd, WoodsideAfter winding through the hills behind Half Moon Bay, you stumble upon this tiny, almost oddly placed shopping center tucked into the quiet town of Woodside—and somehow, it feels like a hidden gem you weren’t supposed to find.
We came across this spot completely on a whim and instantly fell in love. The baked goods? Unreal. The latte? Smooth in a way that makes you question every other coffee you’ve had.
As soon as you walk up, you’re hit with the warm, sweet aroma of fresh bread, and the whole place has this cozy, nostalgic charm that just makes you feel good.
We ordered the raisin croissant, some kind of buttery biscuit/bread situation (no idea what it’s officially called, but I need it again), and a cherry cheese danish. Every single thing was incredible—but that raisin croissant? Next level. Like… I’m still thinking about it.
Only downside? Their totes are wayyyy too freaking expensive ?
