What stands out most is their thoroughness and commitment—they didn’t rush to conclusions or offer quick fixes. Instead, they took the time to carefully evaluate every possibility, explain their thinking, and make sure I felt informed and comfortable at every step.
Dr. Alisha is not only knowledgeable but also thoughtful and compassionate in her approach. Audrey and Marianna are equally amazing—attentive, patient, and clearly dedicated to the well-being of the horses they care for. You can tell this is a team that truly works together.
It’s not easy to find a unit that combines expertise, communication, and genuine care at this level. I feel incredibly confident having my horse in their hands and would highly recommend Bayhill Equine.

346 El Camino Real, Redwood CityMy Taiwanese rescue dog, Gracie, and I have been working (and playing) with Celia for a couple of years. Gracie had been on the streets for about a year and arrived with many fears. Though a very sweet dog, she had a few issues. We attended group classes as well as private sessions with Celia who offered expert advice, a gentle but firm touch and inexhaustible support. We've now completed the AKC Canine Good Citizen, AKC Community Canine and the AKC Trick Dog programs as well as several agility classes and doggy play dates with Celia. Celia is always available with advice or to help with a problem. She even offers boarding!

The facilities are clean, the staff is friendly, and communication was excellent throughout. Our more anxious pup, Poppy, felt completely at ease and was able to be her true self. Our first Bernese Mountain Dog used to get so excited just mentioning the name Planet Pooch where he enjoyed many daycares and extended stays. The staff and owner are caring dog people and really do take an interest in your pet while in their care.
Our second Bernese is a pup and ready for loads fun and interaction at Planet Pooch. We appreciate that PP allows un-neutered males up to a year in a playful setting and doesn't confine them as you will find in other places.You won't find a better place on the peninsula for your dog.

I am addicted to their biscotti and cannoli! I love to snack on many of my favorite biscotti varieties such as the dark chocolate dipped hazelnut, chocolate chip no nuts, orange dark chocolate dipped & the OMG LEMON WHITE chocolate is refreshing! They also have a unique pastry shaped like a clamshell & is super crispy flaky crunchy on the outside but baked with a savory sweet orange zest ricotta cheese filling inside. It's irresistable when its warmed up. Definitely worth a visit & a fantastic place to purchase year-round gifts & bring treats to the office. EVERYTHING IS SO GOOD!!!

The person who took my order was super nice and helpful in narrowing down items to try. Everything here is made to order, so they do recommend using the app. Especially if you are in a hurry.
I ordered:
1. Vietnamese coffee with salted cream: Surprisingly, this was a little sweet to me. I do recommend sipping it, instead of drinking it through a straw to get the full flavor.
2. Croffle w/ nutella: This was crispy and chewy. The nutella gave it a messy yumminess
3. Egg, cheese, and bacon croissant: This was delicious and surprisingly it didn't have that greasy oily feeling. It is very hearty.
4. Perfect green smoothie: My co-worker loved this and found it very delicious. Perfect balance of all the items.
I look forward to coming back soon and will pre-order next time.

The servers were polite but not particularly attentive, and they left the menus on the table even after both drinks and appetizers had been served, so the menus were in the way. They also didn't clear empty drink glasses until the end of the meal. When you're spending over $100 a person, the service should be better. Neat atmosphere though with the jellyfish tank and harbor outside. We'll be back I expect.

2022 Broadway, Redwood CityWood fired oven pizza that BTS went to multiple times while they had their show in Stanford May 2026. They raved how good the pizza is! Recommend making a reservation on Open Table and we even asked if we can sit where they sat. The servers and staff were so friendly and open and very excited to hear fans come and check it out, they even gave us stickers! They said that since BTS came with many people they ordered practically the whole menu but what stuck out to them or what they ordered multiple times were the sausage and honey pizza and carbonara pizza. Our server also recommended the mushroom toast which was really good. The pizzas take about 25 mins so they recommend ordering some other things while you wait, we did a kale and I think Caesar salad which was really good. I think we also added a pepperoni pizza, so we had 2 salads, mushroom toast, and 3 pizzas for 4 adults and a toddler. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, they over drinks and I really enjoyed the pizza dough, texture, flavors, and overall it was really good.
It was busy for a Friday evening, parking can be a little difficult, there’s some parking garages and street parking nearby but give yourself some time to find parking. I enjoyed the vibe, service, and overall ambiance. I am getting hungry just writing about it.

Fries were also really well done. They're in a random parking lot, but are opening up a store in Woodside soon. The trip is worth your time. Everything was delicious and the owners were really nice.

My favorites are the beef chapli kebab, chicken tikka, and their newest addition—the chicken chargha—which is easily one of the best things on the menu. Every dish is packed with flavor, and you really can’t go wrong here.
It’s the perfect combination of comforting, satisfying food and incredibly delicious protein. The restaurant does get quite busy during peak meal times, so if you’d rather skip the wait, I’d recommend ordering takeout or visiting during off-peak hours.

Nine Lives Foundation Cat Clinic
3137 Jefferson Ave, Redwood CityDefinitely worth the 30min drive and bridge crossing to get our community cats fixed through the TNR program. 3 of us had individually gone to another local cat clinic in Fremont to use vouchers. But staff was incredibly rude, understandably made mistakes, but was just mean for no reason. There were also a lot of unnecessary rules/requirements that probably deterred people from following through w/surgeries. We are all trying to help and rescue is stressful (I focus on dogs personally). But ease and kindness is what keeps people voluntarily helping these animals. Thank you for offering this AND thank you for just being kind and straightforward!
