What stands out most is their thoroughness and commitment—they didn’t rush to conclusions or offer quick fixes. Instead, they took the time to carefully evaluate every possibility, explain their thinking, and make sure I felt informed and comfortable at every step.
Dr. Alisha is not only knowledgeable but also thoughtful and compassionate in her approach. Audrey and Marianna are equally amazing—attentive, patient, and clearly dedicated to the well-being of the horses they care for. You can tell this is a team that truly works together.
It’s not easy to find a unit that combines expertise, communication, and genuine care at this level. I feel incredibly confident having my horse in their hands and would highly recommend Bayhill Equine.

Gracie had been on the streets for about a year and arrived with many fears. Though a very sweet dog, she had a few issues. We attended group classes as well as private sessions with Celia who offered expert advice, a gentle but firm touch and inexhaustible support. We've now completed the AKC Canine Good Citizen, AKC Community Canine and the AKC Trick Dog programs as well as several agility classes and doggy play dates with Celia. Celia is always available with advice or to help with a problem. She even offers boarding!

Our first Bernese Mountain Dog used to get so excited just mentioning the name Planet Pooch where he enjoyed many daycares and extended stays. The staff and owner are caring dog people and really do take an interest in your pet while in their care.
Our second Bernese is a pup and ready for loads fun and interaction at Planet Pooch. We appreciate that PP allows un-neutered males up to a year in a playful setting and doesn't confine them as you will find in other places.You won't find a better place on the peninsula for your dog.

I had Matcha Hojicha latte and it's GOOD!! I was pleasantly surprised! I was able to adjust sweetness & ice, and dairy option available. Their drinks are crafted drinks and mine has many layered to it. I like that they used the matcha as a foam/topper. This is my new fave place. Too bad we don't have one in the area. @ Tong Sui - please open one in Livermore/Tracy/Brentwood area. This place doesn't accept cash but has online order and store pick up or use their kiosk. Tap pay or swipe are available here as well.

I just moved to the area and I can’t tell you how exciting and how comforting it is to find a place that sells so many delicious German beers (that aren’t IPAs) in half and full liters. When I’m feeling homesick, I’m coming here. Today was just beer, but next time I’m trying the food.
The beer garden is amazing with a lot of outdoor seating for such a crowded area. The bartenders are so friendly and can answer any question you have about the beer. This place is also a store where they sell many types of bottled beer you can take home.
It’s right off of CalTrain, which I love. I can literally walk here from my house, enjoy the beer on a perfect sunny day, and walk home. Absolutely unreal.

I was pleasantly surprised by the size and amount of filling in the sandwich. Service is always 10/10, I forgot to order cold foam on my drink and he remade it for me free of charge. The Vietnamese coffee with salted cream cold foam is a must! I spent around $22 for a sandwich and a small Vietnamese coffee.

Finding parking is tough, should try street parking. The sauces they use are excellent, especially the spicy one. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone who's interested in authentic Mexican food. A must visit!

2202 Broadway, Redwood CityI don't think I've ever seen someone so happy to make boba drinks... I mean, that's kind of a joke, but the customer service really is superb here. So superb in fact, that it's the main reason I want to come back.
Not that the boba is bad, but it's average at best. I paid 6 something dollars for a regular jasmine milk tea with boba, and the cup was smaller than most regular sizes at other boba shops. Granted they were very generous with the pearls, took up half of the cup, which was plenty. I asked for 50% sweetness, to which the employee was surprised. When he handed me my drink, he said if I had any problem with the sweetness, he wouldn't mind increasing or adjusting it.
The employee in question is who a lot of other reviewers are talking about. I don't know his name, our interaction was very brief, but with every customer he greeted he came off extremely cheerful, friendly, and polite. It could just be to maintain a good image for the boba place, but from my perspective this attitude was genuine, like this is simply how he goes about life.
I finished that jasmine milk tea with a smile. Overall, 4/5.

Nine Lives Foundation Cat Clinic
3137 Jefferson Ave, Redwood CityDefinitely worth the 30min drive and bridge crossing to get our community cats fixed through the TNR program. 3 of us had individually gone to another local cat clinic in Fremont to use vouchers. But staff was incredibly rude, understandably made mistakes, but was just mean for no reason. There were also a lot of unnecessary rules/requirements that probably deterred people from following through w/surgeries. We are all trying to help and rescue is stressful (I focus on dogs personally). But ease and kindness is what keeps people voluntarily helping these animals. Thank you for offering this AND thank you for just being kind and straightforward!
