Dr. Alisha, along with Audrey and Marianna (both incredible vet techs), have gone above and beyond in helping us get to the root of what’s been causing my horse’s pain. What stands out most is their thoroughness and commitment—they didn’t rush to conclusions or offer quick fixes. Instead, they took the time to carefully evaluate every possibility, explain their thinking, and make sure I felt informed and comfortable at every step.
Dr. Alisha is not only knowledgeable but also thoughtful and compassionate in her approach. Audrey and Marianna are equally amazing—attentive, patient, and clearly dedicated to the well-being of the horses they care for. You can tell this is a team that truly works together.
It’s not easy to find a unit that combines expertise, communication, and genuine care at this level. I feel incredibly confident having my horse in their hands and would highly recommend Bayhill Equine.

Gracie had been on the streets for about a year and arrived with many fears. Though a very sweet dog, she had a few issues. We attended group classes as well as private sessions with Celia who offered expert advice, a gentle but firm touch and inexhaustible support. We've now completed the AKC Canine Good Citizen, AKC Community Canine and the AKC Trick Dog programs as well as several agility classes and doggy play dates with Celia. Celia is always available with advice or to help with a problem. She even offers boarding!

The facilities are clean, the staff is friendly, and communication was excellent throughout. Our more anxious pup, Poppy, felt completely at ease and was able to be her true self. We’re so grateful for the care they received and would highly recommend Woofs & Wiggles to anyone looking for a safe and loving boarding option.

Our first Bernese Mountain Dog used to get so excited just mentioning the name Planet Pooch where he enjoyed many daycares and extended stays. The staff and owner are caring dog people and really do take an interest in your pet while in their care.
Our second Bernese is a pup and ready for loads fun and interaction at Planet Pooch. We appreciate that PP allows un-neutered males up to a year in a playful setting and doesn't confine them as you will find in other places.You won't find a better place on the peninsula for your dog.

I am addicted to their biscotti and cannoli! I love to snack on many of my favorite biscotti varieties such as the dark chocolate dipped hazelnut, chocolate chip no nuts, orange dark chocolate dipped & the OMG LEMON WHITE chocolate is refreshing! They also have a unique pastry shaped like a clamshell & is super crispy flaky crunchy on the outside but baked with a savory sweet orange zest ricotta cheese filling inside. It's irresistable when its warmed up. Definitely worth a visit & a fantastic place to purchase year-round gifts & bring treats to the office. EVERYTHING IS SO GOOD!!!

The young lady who took our order was incredibly friendly and we started out with some excellent coffees, one of which was a Vietnamese type we had never had before.
Then the (extremely kind) owner brought out our croissant and bagel sandwiches. We both thought they were the best we had ever had....absolutely delicious! See the pics!
It was just a great stop. Kind people, great coffee, and excellent food....perfect! ??

I’ve been here twice now - first time got taro milk tea at 100% sugar but it was wayyy too sweet. 2nd time I tried the peach milk tea with 75% sugar and it was much better, though honestly I’d probably go with 50% sugar next time lol. If you don't like super sugary drinks definitely ask for less sweet!! Still, really hit the spot for a nostalgic drink.

Tea Leaf Salad ($19.99) Romaine lettuce, fried yellow beans, garlic chips, sesame & sunflower seeds, peanuts, tomatoes and jalapenos all tossed with fermented green tea leaf dressing was mixed up tableside. Nice version with good ingredients, a moderate dressing and not much spice. 9/10
Burma House Noodle ($19.99) Rice noodle with red bell peppers, onions, cabbage and egg, with crushed peanuts & lemon on the side is on the sweet side. Less noodles than expected, still an enjoyable dish. 8.5/10

Nine Lives Foundation Cat Clinic
3137 Jefferson Ave, Redwood CityDefinitely worth the 30min drive and bridge crossing to get our community cats fixed through the TNR program. 3 of us had individually gone to another local cat clinic in Fremont to use vouchers. But staff was incredibly rude, understandably made mistakes, but was just mean for no reason. There were also a lot of unnecessary rules/requirements that probably deterred people from following through w/surgeries. We are all trying to help and rescue is stressful (I focus on dogs personally). But ease and kindness is what keeps people voluntarily helping these animals. Thank you for offering this AND thank you for just being kind and straightforward!
