Pet Grooming
Rainbow Pet Groomer (Mobile)
1700 El Camino Real SPC 1-30, South San FranciscoMaju is great! My family has known her for a while but this is the first time she's ever groomed our dogs. Our white Shih-Tzu is old and blind but she still did a bang up job on him. Same goes for our brown mutt. She was on time, easy to talk to, patient, and finished both our dogs in just under 3 hours! Would definitely recommend!

Here, Doggy!
113 S Linden Ave, South San FranciscoWith this review, i hope to express my immense gratitude for the exceptional care and attention provided by Here, Doggy! As a dog owner of an anxious pup, finding a daycare that not only understands but also caters to his unique needs has been a game changer. From the very beginning, the staff has shown remarkable patience and guidance, especially when dealing with my pups occasional loud moments. Their attentiveness goes beyond the ordinary, as they've proven to notice even subtle changes in his behavior - a testament to their genuine care. The "take or leave" area is a brilliant concept that adds a personal touch to the experience. Being able to drop off goodies and pick up essentials is not only convenient but also reflects the thoughtful consideration put into the daycare's design.Choosing a new daycare is always a nerve-wracking experience for any dog owner, but Here, Doggy! has gone above and beyond to alleviate any worries I had about my pup. The availability of cameras for check-ins adds an extra layer of reassurance, allowing me to observe his activities and well-being throughout the day. What truly sets Here, Doggy! apart is the trust I've developed in their ability to care for my pup. The little report cards and daily updates have been invaluable, providing insights into his social interactions and daily activities. Thanks to the support and genuine care provided by this daycare, my dog has become more social and accustomed to other dogs and people.I am truly grateful for the positive impact Here, Doggy! has had on my pup's well-being. Thank you for creating a safe and nurturing environment for my furry friend. <3

San Francisco Bird Hotel
183 Utah Ave, South San FranciscoThe staff are incredibly nice and knowledgeable. The place is exquisitely clean considering they house over 100 birds, and chances are it's probably cleaner than your house! Whenever I pickup my parrot, he always looks calm and happy.

Positive Energy Dog Training
113 S Linden Ave, South San FranciscoMarwa was so patient with our dog Minnie. She had a terrible anxiety. I took Marwa's 6 days of special daycare training package and one private lesson. That's all it took, my dog who was scared of everyone was putty in her hands. I saw results instantly, watching her work with Minnie was like nothing I've seen before. It was as if she was having a real conversion with our dog and she really understood her, it was worth every penny.

The Pawington
116 Beacon St, South San FranciscoMy family and most importantly my dog, LOVE The Pawington. The staff is super sweet and takes such good care of my dog Noa. Initially I was really nervous to bring my dog here because 1. He can be super reactive and 2. He has never really been under the supervision of others for extended time aside from my family. We started with a temperament test which surprisingly my dog passed. From there we decided to give day care a try and so far he loves it. Keep in mind the prices, I will say it's not cheap however the service and treatment you get here makes up for it. I would take advantage of the packages they offer here especially if this will be a pretty regular thing for your pet. Noa has been going to pawington once or twice a week for about 3 years now and I don't have any complaints. I love that I can keep an eye on my dog too whenever I feel like I need to thanks to their cameras. And because of those cameras I seen first hand how well my dog gets along with the staff and other dogs there. Every time I go to drop him off or pick him up the staff and the other dogs always seem so happy. Not to mention this place loves to do seasonal activities year round so there's always something for the dogs to enjoy! From photo ops, special treats, lake play days and even arts and crafts it's never a dull moment. I kept every little arts and crafts project he made lol. I wish I could remember everyone's name but seriously everyone here is a sweetheart from the young girls at the front desk, the groomers and the managers I've met. Very pleased that I took a chance with The Pawington.

Dead Eye Coffee Bar
415 Grand Ave STE 100, South San FranciscoI’m a coffee snob, annoyingly so. This is by far the very best coffee in the Bay Area. My go to order is a quad shot iced latte and whether I’m having that or the espresso straight it is absolutely delicious. The vanilla and rose lattes are lovely treats and well balanced in flavor.

Brothers Cafe
382 Grand Ave, South San FranciscoThis was a great meal to start the day. With lots of options from breakfast to dinner this is a perfect place for any time of the day. I had the souvlaki which came with soft pita and lots of tzatziki which I loved. The salad and fries were also a great side. My boyfriend had the home run and he said the sandwich was good and the hash browns were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The service was great as well! We chose a table outside and it was a little dirty but they quickly noticed and wiped it down for us. Parking can be found on the street.

Cafe De Casa
1165 Airport Blvd, South San FranciscoThis was a cozy spot to have lunch outside with my family. We ordered a few lunch items and snacks to bring home. I ordered the lunch special of the day, which was a beef stew. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to try it out, but they gladly replaced it with the steak grilled with onions, which was delicious! The service was great and the lady at the cashier was very happy and patient with us! I would definitely come here again to buy more pao de queijo and try something new.

Sky Cafe
223 Grand Ave, South San FranciscoDelicious vegan food, large portions, nice ambiance, parking is easy and never have to wait. Staff is friendly. Great for catch ups with friends. I will definitely return!! Very close to the airports I got the cauliflower wings (yummy) and two specials (sweet potato lasagna and Lions Mane mushroom brisket). We came in hungry and we left full! We even had some to take back home with us.

Brew@382
386 Grand Ave, South San FranciscoMy girlfriend and I came here because it was the highest rated wings in this part of South San Francisco. We walked past the place twice because we couldn't find it. Their sign is barely noticeable. We found it because of the address. The wings are incredible and the beers were equally good. Highly recommended. I just wish they had a better sign out front so people could find the place.

Respectable Bird
312 Swift Ave, South San FranciscoWe were the only customers on a Friday at 12:30pm, and it was maybe a 10-15 minute wait for the kitchen to make our meals after we ordered at the kiosk. I didn't get a photo, but the fried chicken had a dang good crisp thick breading and moist meat. I don't even like waffle fries but these were amazing, moist and soft, slight kick to the spice, just the lightest perfect amount of crisp. About $18 for 3 pieces with fries.

The StandBy
935 Airport Blvd, South San FranciscoLow profile bar. Divey feel, but a but nicer. Comfy booths and plenty of tables. Outdoor area is nice on those random sunny SSF days. They've got some good cocktails and good selection of beers in tap. Free popcorn at times as well.

Curveball Slider Truck
326 Shaw Rd, South San FranciscoGot to try this place at devils canyon brewery on a Friday night- totally recommend the curveball which is a pair of sliders topped with caramelized onions, bbq sauce, chipotle mayo and juicy pork belly which was an interesting surprise. The Parmesan fries are a big portion and perfectly crispy. Overall good value for the price, great kid friendly truck food!

Hookt Doughnuts Catering
312 Swift Ave, South San FranciscoYo Hookt! I'm mad at y'all! I came to the Sparkt food trucks looking for you and you weren't there? Why'd you leave!? I almost cried. I've scoured the Bay Area for mini donuts and Hookt are the best. The flavors! The hot, melt in your mouth texture! I'd tear up a whole box. I'm sad. I want more mini donuts but I don't want to drive from the east bay to south San Francisco. Please come back to Mission Bay! I wants you and I needs you. I don't ask for much in this life...come back to me. Abeg.

47 Hills Brewing Company
137 S Linden Ave, South San FranciscoI begrudgingly went with my hubby who wanted some local beer. It’s definitely loud, in A fun bar way, but the food was amazing! Tri-tip Sammy and garlic fries I’ll dream about when I return to the East coast… yum.
