Outlet Mobile Pet Grooming
1427 Broadway, BurlingameMy dog was nervous initially, but the groomer from Outlet Mobile Grooming was so patient and soothing. They respected her pace, gently handled her coat and nails, and let her settle in. When done, she looked fabulous and even pranced around proudly. The mobile setup is so convenient. Highly recommended for pet owners seeking calm, professional service.

Avenue Pet Salon
1427 Burlingame Ave, BurlingameVeronica is very kind and patient with our dog. We brought our dog in for the first time recently after moving to the area and our neighbor recommended her business. The space is small and quiet, which we thought we be a good atmosphere for our dog who used to get groomed in a louder, busier environment.

Camino Real Pet Clinic
1317 Bayswater Ave, BurlingameWE LOVE Camino Real Pet Clinic! All their staff is kind, attentive and caring. We were recommended last year around November to this clinic by my pup's groomer after she found some of Butter's rotten teeth that needed to take care of. Of all the clinics that I called, Camino Real was the most attentive one. They actually care about your pet. Dr. Ten, Butter's vet, made sure to check up fully on Butter and had all the necessary lab works before the procedure. Dr. Ten explained to me what to expect and kept me informed all the time on the day of the procedure. Though Butter needed to have more teeth extracted than originally planned, Dr. Ten only charged us for her hours, not per tooth. Thus, I'm so grateful to Dr. Ten and Camino Real Pet Clinic for their reasonable charge and superb service!
We've been a regular customer of Camino Real Pet Clinic ever since. We live in San Jose but I'm willing to drive Butter here for quality and caring pet services.
The clinic is a quaint historical house and it has a small parking lot in the back and along its side and one spot in the front. It can accommodate up to 5 cars, I believe. I've never had problem finding parking here.
Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Ten and the Camino Real Pet Clinic to anyone!

Gabriel & Daniel's Mexican Grill
250 Anza Blvd, BurlingameLoved brining the family here. Great authentic food and nice customer service

Gigi's Cafe
111 Anza Blvd, BurlingameWanted to love this place because of all the good reviews but unfortunately the sandwiches are just ok. They are pricey almost $20 each but they are loaded! But are lacking overall in flavor and sauce. I tried this place on two separate occasions, months apart, and multiple different sandwiches. None if them had a "wow" factor. They get a-lot of business regardless, so check them out for yourself. But I would drive a little further to Little Lucas in Millbrae or SSF.

Tuna Kahuna
1117 Burlingame Ave, BurlingameBest poke bowl I've had in the Bay Area. Their fish seemed really fresh and their sauces had a ton of flavor. I had the signature yuzu salmon and hamachi bowl and my wife had the salmon lovers. Both were on point. Really liked that they had dine in options and serve you in real bowls instead of the compostable ones that most poke places use. The bar tender seemed really cool too and was drinking with the patrons. Great food and great atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out.

Caffe Stellato

Leland Tea Company - Burlingame
1223 Donnelly Ave, BurlingameService was friendly and the food was ok. The homemade scones were the standout with the cream, honey and jam. The tea sandwiches felt casual on wheat like we were at someone's house and not like a fancy tea - this is a super casual tea place. The tea was pretty good - we had the breakfast at Tiffany's and Bergamot/lavender? The egg salad and chicken salad were good and the pesto was excellent. Cucumber sandwiches weren't soggy and the cream cheese was good. Ambiance is definitely more casual than most tea places - there's an indoor/outdoor area and it gets cold so bring a jacket!

Park & Howard Bistro
1300 Howard Ave, BurlingamePark & Howard Bistro is a small intimate setting with nice ambiance but seating is close together. Service was excellent. I'd like to go back to try dinner menu items. The burger and chicken salad sandwich were good but not exceptional for the price.

Maverick Jack's
1190 California Dr, BurlingameFinally popped in to try Maverick Jack's. We arrived on a Saturday night and were seated immediately. We initially sat outside on their patio (which was quite nice) and moved inside as the night got colder. We ordered one classic burger with American cheese and one Outlaw. We also subbed our fries for parmesan garlic fries and tots. The burgers were really tasty; we especially enjoyed the classic burger. The tots were also great - crispy and perfectly fried. The parmesan garlic fries had good flavor but were too oily for our liking. For drinks, we got a blonde bombshell shake which was vanilla with strawberry drizzle around the glass. Service was very friendly and attentive, and their seating (both indoor and outdoor) is comfortable and spacious. As we ate our meal, we had a window view of the sunset. Our dinner came out to $70+ which was a bit steep but we enjoyed our experience.

Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA Adoption Center
1450 Rollins Rd, BurlingameAmazing care & compassion. I have a cat who will turn 20 in April, surrendered at 17. Had neck mass. PHS biopsied & removed. Benign. Very loving kitty. Grateful. So far William (name was Lucky when surrendered) has had almost 3 more years with me. He is black which makes it harder to adopt. Gets along well with my other 2 cats.
