Masson Veterinary Hospital
805 Masson Ave, San BrunoIt was hard finding a new Veterinarian after our previous vet clinic closed. We tried a few, but none really stuck until we met Dr. Tais at Masson. She was personable and took her time getting to know each of my pups. The office staff, Sarah, Jennifer and Jasmine are also a very big reason we chose to stay at Masson, they're all super detailed and knowledgeable. It is so hard to find a Veterinarian that you and your pups like and it's even harder finding a great office team, but at Masson you get both! I am so so happy I found them.

West Coast Cafe
466 San Mateo Avenue, San BrunoWe had our grandmother's celebration of life. Staff was amazing. The restaurant is closed from 2:30 to 4:30 and we were able to rent out the entire restaurant during that time. The restaurant was large enough to accommodate all of our family and friends who came to celebrate my grandmother's celebration of life. The food was delicious and exquisite.

Amami Sushi
1789 El Camino Real, San BrunoWe were hungry after my appointment in Burlingame so we settled for Sushi at Amami in San Bruno. The teriyaki chicken looked plain but it was good. We also ordered the Amami Sushi and Lion King roll. Both were great. Next time, I'd like to order their Omakase Sushi. They have several restaurants all over the bay.

SAJJ Mediterranean
851 Cherry Ave #15, San BrunoThis was my first visit, and honestly, I was a little confused at first. With the name “Sajj,” I was expecting baked pies or skillet-style dishes. Instead, I found out it’s more of a walk-up counter concept where you build your own Mediterranean-style bowl, wrap, or plate.
It’s actually a great concept. While the flavors didn’t fully stand out to me personally — mostly because of my background with the cuisine and the traveling I’ve done — they do offer a huge selection of farm-fresh vegetables, meats, and sauces.
The ability to build your meal your own way at reasonable prices is definitely a plus, and the staff was friendly and welcoming

Boiling Beijing
649 San Mateo Avenue, San BrunoDrove all the way from the South Bay to Boling Beijing today! I had been here maybe 7–8 years ago, and the food is still as good as I remembered.
The Beijing roasted duck was as good as always—authentic, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering. My only complaint is that it wasn’t quite hot enough when it was served. Would have been even better piping hot.
The cabbage with shrimp was a new dish for me, and it was surprisingly delicious. As the menu says, the cabbage actually tastes even better than the shrimp! The DaLaPi was also amazing. It was my first time trying it, and I loved the sesame sauce mixed with all the vegetables.
We also ordered the eight treasures tea, which was really good.
The restaurant itself looks a little dated and hasn’t changed much since my last visit years ago. It’s definitely not one of those bright, modern restaurants. But honestly, if you’re looking for tasty and authentic Beijing food, this place is absolutely worth the drive from the South Bay.
