Dazzling pup
127 N San Gabriel Blvd, San GabrielOur family pup loves coming here! He's a 13 lb malti-poo and is very hit or miss when it comes to strangers, but somehow loves the owner at Dazzling Pup and seems excited to get groomed. It's hard to find a trustworthy groomer these days. Would highly recommend Dazzling Pup!

Pet Care

Valley Veterinary Hospital
1007 E Valley Blvd, San GabrielThe wait is long especially if you want to see the doctor. But honestly it's worth the wait. They know what they are doing and the ladies in the front are always so helpful and nice. They have good prices as well. I take my cats here, have received all their treatments/vaccines here.

Temple City Animal Hospital
5406 Rosemead Blvd, San GabrielGreat experience! Amazing consultation, exam and treatment- my cat was in dire straits and we had very little hope- but thanks to the staff and Dr. Jimenez, he not only recuperated but is still doing great, considering he is 14.5 years old and may have cancer?I also took my other cat who is just as old and he too was in critical condition, but again thanks to the amazing team and Dr. Jimenez he is doing wonderfully- I am extremely grateful and happy with this vet hospital and all the people who made my baby critters feel safe, and who cared for them as their own!

Blossom Market Hall
264 S Mission Dr, San GabrielI enjoy coming here when my partner and I can't agree one something. I wish the seating was more comfortable and the less cramped together but there usually is somewhere to sit. The cleaning staff is always quick to clear tables and manage trash and dishes. Even at its busiest there is usually plenty of parking.

MeloMelo Coconut Dessert
529 E Valley Blvd #178b, San GabrielA unique dessert shop in the SGV, my amazing wife took me here on the weekend & at first I was a bit sketched out but once I tasted the desserts, it's for sure one of my favorite type of desserts to get.
They have plentiful of menu options to choose from which is difficult for me to decide, but we ended up trying their signature mango coconut.
The mango is very much natural, I didn't think it would blend well with the coconut jelly but it was a smooth taste. This is for sure a healthier type of dessert as it's not too sweet either. Perfect all around. Texture is for sure a standout & perfect for pictures. Love the design of the cups, bags, and packaging too.
Also found out that they have a recycling program where you can return 10 jars and receive a dessert jar.

Browned
101 E Valley Blvd Unit 10, San GabrielAbsolutely worth the visit! Browned has some of the best pastries I’ve had in SGV. The puffs are light, crispy, and not overly sweet. My favorites were the Oolong tea, Salted Egg Yolk Taro, and Dark Chocolate flavors. We also loved the Rose Lychee Raspberry Croissant and the Kimchi Runny Egg Croissant, the sweet and savory combination was so unique. Everything tasted fresh and beautifully made. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

M JOY-MODERN LAMB KITCHEN (San Gabriel)
301 W Valley Blvd Ste 109, San GabrielI'm usually not a big fan of lamb, but this place really knows how to prepare it. My favorite dish is definitely the lamb ribs they're incredibly tender, flavorful, and practically fall off the bone. Even someone who doesn't normally enjoy lamb would probably appreciate how well they're cooked here. I also tried the milk tea and really enjoyed it. The regular version was great, although I wasn't a fan of the salty milk tea since it just wasn't my personal taste.
The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, so seating can feel a bit limited during busy times. However, the food more than makes up for it. The quality, flavor, and tenderness of the lamb keep me coming back. If you're looking for a place that does lamb exceptionally well, this spot is definitely worth checking out.

Pepper Tavern 四川集市
137 W Valley Blvd, San GabrielOrdered the Chongqing grilled fish for takeout, opened the box in the car and that peppery steam just rushed out, had to crack the window. Skin a bit more charred than I like but the broth soaked into the rice nicely, worked for me.
