The Urban Pet
1127 Fair Oaks Ave, South PasadenaThey have a brand of freeze dried salmon snacks that my cats absolutely lose their little cats minds for. I really appreciate the expanded selection of Weruva that I can't get at PetSmart. Also, a great selection of cat toys with leather/fur (the good stuff!)

Soo's Pet Salon
1830 Fremont Ave, South PasadenaVery happy we found Soo’s grooming!
They opened 6 mo ago and were very quick to respond and schedule when I needed a last minute groom.
The owners seem very kind and loving towards all the dogs there and I like that they do not keep them in cages and the facilities were very clean.
Would highly recommend giving them a try!

Obedience Please Dog Training
721 Fair Oaks Ave, South PasadenaI took my puppy, Goose, to Obedience Please and I’m so happy with the confident, well-behaved dog he’s become. David worked with Goose on learning his basic commands and took him all the way to learning how to listen off-leash after completing levels 1+2. Before Goose started, he was hyperactive and wouldn’t listen. He’s now so much more attentive, his leash manners are great, and he’s well-socialized (I can already tell he misses the playroom!) I couldn’t recommend Obedience Please more for training. Goose is such a good boy now and it’s allowed both of us so much more freedom!

Hawaiian BBQ
711 Fair Oaks Ave, South PasadenaI was actually trying to go to Ono Hawaiian Barbecue, but my navigation kept recommending this restaurant because of its high reviews. It redirected me here twice, so I thought, “Fine, let’s just try it.” And I’m so glad I did — I ended up discovering an amazing place!
The owner may seem a bit reserved at first, but he’s actually very kind. The macaroni salad was delicious, the rice was perfectly cooked, and the chicken katsu was honestly the best I’ve ever had in my life — perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
And all of this for just $12.99!
Places like this truly deserve more recognition. I really hope more people come and support this hardworking Korean owner.
These are so good. sooooo gooood.

Jones Coffee Roasters
1006 Mission St, South PasadenaMy wife and I were in town to visit the iconic Michael Myers house ? just across the tracks. After arriving, we decided to stop in and grab a drink, and we're so glad we did. This coffee shop was in the perfect location for us.
I want to give a huge shout-out to the amazing team. Not only was everyone friendly and welcoming, but they also shared some of the history of the area, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Their hospitality truly made our day ? better.
We traveled all the way from Northern California to visit the Los Angeles area, and this ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. From the excellent service to the welcoming atmosphere and the wonderful people inside, this is a fantastic spot.
Both my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our drinks they were exactly what we needed and really hit the spot. Thank you again for such a great experience. We will definitely be back again, and you all deserve an awesome review. Shout-out to you!

Heirloom Bakery & Cafe
807-C Meridian Ave, South PasadenaAlways my go to for casual breakfast after my morning dog walks. The breakfast sandwich is the best paired with their gourmet coffee.

Aro Latin
1019 Mission St, South PasadenaBirria Tacos are bomb, bartender friendly and approachable and he made a mean margarita. My friend ordered an espresso martini but they couldn’t make that due to not having an espresso machine. This is a very popular cocktail. They need to invest in a machine. He did however make one with Kailua and she enjoyed it.

Kaldi Coffee & Tea
1019 El Centro St, South PasadenaCoffee isn’t as good as Jones, but the location is arguably better. Good inside and outside sitting, and the library park is right across the street.

Fiore Market Cafe
1000 Fremont Ave, South PasadenaTheir turkey sandwich with house-baked bread is legendary for a reason. The bread is warm, salty, and slightly chewy—basically a blanket for roasted turkey. The garden patio is shaded and quiet even at lunch rush. They sell loaves to go, but they sell out, so come early. Service is relaxed but attentive

Mamma's Brick Oven Pizza & Pasta
1007 Fair Oaks Ave, South PasadenaMamma’s Pizza & Pasta in Pasadena brought back a feeling I haven’t felt since I was 5 years old. that excitement of wanting to run away to my favorite popular drive-thru hamburger place because the food was just that good to me.
I had a slice of Margherita and a slice of pepperoni, sausage, and jalapeño pizza. Both were honestly really good. The fresh basil, the aroma from the oven, the crust, and the flavors all blended together like harmony in my mouth. You can taste the care in every bite.
