“They fixed the clasp on the pearl necklace I got for my sweet 16, Beautiful and very reasonable. I’m taking my 1920s vintage Egyptian style necklace to them, the cord broke recently while I was wearing it. The beads are very precise the way they need to be restrung. I trust them. They are getting a bag of beads, with just part of it in place. I also brought them a vintage Sterling silver lipstick holder that belonged to my mom, and they helped me on that too. They care and they are knowledgeable about vintage pieces and the care you need to restore them.”

We couldn't take delivery for some time, and they were kind enough to hold it for us and schedule the delivery for later, which also went very well. He was incredibly responsive to all my messages and even went above and beyond by sending videos of the pieces so I could see exactly how they sit. When my two vintage chairs and stool arrived, they were beautifully packaged and in impeccable condition. It’s been about seven months now, and they are still my favorite pieces in my house. Michael is an absolute gem, and we are lucky to have professionals like him in the business!”

I brought in my candelabra on a Monday to be repaired. I was told that it would take approximately two weeks to repair. I asked if it could be done any sooner and was pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call three days later that it was repaired and all additional pieces were polished to perfection.
My antique looks nearly new. The prices are high, but because I don’t know what’s involved in doing the repairs myself how much time and money is involved I was willing to pay. And I have no regrets. And I would recommend this silver repair to anyone. If I ever need a repair done again, I will absolutely be back.”

“Probably one of the best thrift stores I’ve ever been to. Amazing stuff and everything is priced very well. They do tend to have better stuff than the average thrift stores for sure. They clear out wealthy peoples estates every day which is interesting. They also have a very impressive instagram and I noticed they have great sales all the time. Worth giving them a shot for sure!”

“We saw a Tik Tok video on this store and we went on holiday this place was on our list. It looked like a small store on the video, tucked away on a quiet street in LA. We drove on a late Friday afternoon from Pasadena to LA. The drive like all drives into Los Angeles was filled with craziness. We easily found the store. The neighborhood once a beauty is now overrun with the worst of LA. Right down the street from MacArthur Park. We were a little nervous about the area, but not to worry, there were plenty of uniformed police around. The store is a masterpiece of an era long past. Antique treasures are everywhere. Really there are stain glass, chandeliers, ancient doors and windows and of course a fantastic collections of tile, and kitchenware etc. Its a hugh store filled with surprises. I even say a Tiffany stain glass that was commissioned by Mark Twain ( no kidding).
The staff that work there are so friendly and conversational. Great people and an incredible adventure. If your near LA I would highly recommend a visit.”

“Had a great experience at the Los Feliz Flea today! They had a great variety of vendors with super cool clothing finds as well as shoes, jewelry, and accessories, and a few vendors for housewares. Do note many vendors are cash only (though not all), so come prepared with enough cash for what you want to buy - I wish I had brought more with me, because there was just so many unique items I wish I could've bought! There are many long benches nearby for sitting if you need a break and they also had a few food vendors there, though the selection was limited so I would consider them better for a mid-shop refuel than an attraction in and of themselves. It's also not too massive or overwhelming like other huge fleas can be, so you can really take your time to look at each vendor and it's very doable for an afternoon or morning activity.”
“Villa Melrose is hands down the best Antique Store in Los Angeles. I have bought several antiques from them and I am always coming back for more. Their stuff is 💯 authentic, and legit. I've bought some of the most beautiful antiques from them because I know I can't get anything better anywhere. They have everything from Victorian, Neoclassical Rococo, to Art Neuvo, etc you name it. From chairs , lamps, statues, chandeliers, curiosities, you name it they have it. I love the Manager Nichole she is such a doll and so knowledgeable always knows exactly what I'm looking for , my taste and what I want. The owner is so down to earth and courteous.
