At Last Farm Dog Day Care & Boarding
11209 Gurley Ln, MendocinoAnn was so lovely to work with. I talked with her several times before our arrival for our wedding and she ensured that my pup's stays were seamless! She observed the dog's initial introductions appropriately and loved our Roma! Absolutely beautiful and stunning property for pups to hang out!

Fog Eater Cafe
45104 Main St, MendocinoGreat time sitting out on the patio - heaters helped stave off the chill. Staff was friendly and food was delicious. We got the cauliflower biscuit sliders, pistachio crusted tofu, and beignets. Left full and happy, and even considered buying the cookbook.

GoodLife Cafe & Bakery
10483 Lansing St, MendocinoI could see moving to Mendocino to have this place in my town! Fabulous selection of pastries - I cannot confirm or deny that my wife and I got three each! ? I suggested we could get different things and share but the idea of sharing was voted down. ? There was lots of seating inside and outside. But the latte I had was heavenly, them smoothest I've ever had. I'm going to order some of the beans and I hope to replicate it on my own. Oh, and the staff was very friendly and patient (it took us forever to figure out what to order). I highly recommend this place. ?

Patterson's Pub
10485 Lansing St, MendocinoGreat pub, we went during the week so it was quiet. We sat outside since the weather was perfect, and they had heaters all over the outdoor seating area.
Beer was good
Customer service was good
Food was great
They had two specials that day, a tomato bisque and sandwich which my wife got, and a smashburger and tots which I picked. Both were great and very VERY reasonably priced.
I can imagine it gets loud and busy on the weekend or in the evening, we went for lunch and it was a perfect spot.

Luna Trattoria
955 Ukiah St, MendocinoOwner Massimo comes from Ravenna and the food is authentic Italian trattoria food from Emilia-Romagna. Simple and delicious. Homemade pasta, including tortelli di zucca and lasagna. The pollo alla Bolognese was satisfying, especially if you have a big appetite. Service was prompt and friendly. The outdoor seating is the best choice, although if you are inside you might get Alessio as your waiter, a cheerful server from Montepulciano.

Dick's Place
45070 Main St, MendocinoNice dive bar in Mendocino. Staff war friendly but quaint. Always wonder why we don’t have these kind of bars in Luxembourg. Maybe because of hygiene standards but come on it’s a bar!

Frankie's
44951 Ukiah St, MendocinoWe stopped in at Frankie's for dinner and dessert. The folks behind the counter were very friendly. Ample seating available, it was especially pleasant outside on the patio. Our pizza was delicious and perfectly crispy. The ice cream was a great way to end our meal with a sweet treat.

Mendocino Cafe
10451 Lansing St, MendocinoMy wife and I ate there three out of four nights. We had seafood every night and it was all excellent. The restaurant doesn’t take reservations. Even when quite busy the service was fast and friendly. They have quite a variety on the menu. The prices were very reasonable especially for fresh seafood. Highly recommend you try it if in Mendocino.

Stanford Inn's Ravens Restaurant
44850 Comptche Ukiah Rd, MendocinoThe first thing that startled me when I made the reservation was that they asked if I would be bringing a pet. Animals are not technically allowed in the dining area, but they can be in the lobby just outside (where there also seemed to be some tables) and there's a balcony where there was a water bowl and evidence some people had been sitting. There's also a tortoiseshell cat who seemed to be resident in the bookstore, with a room carefully left open for it downstairs. The ambience was warm and welcoming; very comfortable. The service was excellent and friendly, with fair recommendations, comments, etc. The food was fine, if on the uninspiring side. They did make an effort to be interesting - for example, with a sea palm (kelp) and raspberry strudel that was intriguing, but unfortunately not really successful. We also tried the dealcoholized wine, which tasted fine to me, though a) it was a rose, and b) I'm not much of a wine drinker. Most of the other dishes were decent but not really exciting. The cost was relatively high - $200 +tip for four. In short, go for the ambience, the pet friendliness, and the service, and you'll have a very pleasant meal of good but uninspired food.
