Pet Care

Peninsula Pet Hospital: Cortesi Charles DVM
548 Glenwood Ave, Menlo ParkI just moved from the South Bay and Peninsula was recommended. I needed to get in quickly for rabies and vaccinations for my pup. All went well, when I got there I was greeted by staff. It was busy, and I waited a tad longer. But it didn't matter, I really liked Dr. Ulla. She was personable. She got down on her knees to greet my dog who is 46 pounds. She reassured my pup and soon she was licking the vet! So big yay. I am thrilled to have found a great vet in Menlo Park!

Pet Sitting & Training

Transcontinental Pet Movers LLC
3723 Haven Ave #101, Menlo ParkTimothy and his team were very professional and care for animals, they answered all of my questions on the phone and took time to explain the process. They were able to provide a cross country dog transport on short notice. The driver was clearly very experienced with dogs and took time at the pickup to get him comfortable with her which I really appreciated. The team is great at communicating throughout the trip and send regular updates I felt very relieved knowing the dog was in safe hands and would recommend them.

Mardini's Deli Cafe
408 Willow Rd, Menlo ParkIve been coming here for a few years, I can't believe I haven't done a review yet. This cafe has some of the best food I've tasted, the burgers are a decent size and cooked with great care and same goes for the sandwiches. I've still not yet tried everything on the menu but plan to. Mardini the cook is an awesome character and always shows hospitality when you step in his cafe.

Back A Yard Caribbean Grill
1189 Willow Rd, Menlo ParkI stopped by Back A Yard Caribbean just to grab a bottle of their jerk sauce and wow, it did not disappoint. Flavor so good, it deserves its own spotlight. This sauce is absolutely banging. The flavor is rich, smoky, and perfectly balanced with that signature Caribbean kick. I marinated some chicken with it, and it turned out incredible. Honestly, I'd buy this sauce by the gallon if I could. I didn't order any food during my visit, but the place smelled amazing. The service was friendly, and the guy selling the sauce was really nice and helpful. Parking is a bit limited since it's on a one-way street, but it's worth the quick stop. If the food tastes anything like that jerk sauce, I can only imagine how good the rest of the menu is.

Menlo BBQ

Sand Hill Sundeck
3000 Sand Hill Rd, Menlo ParkBeautiful place to eat. Jordan was one of the best servers I’ve had in my life. Make sure to check that the menu is not happy hour if you look at the normal menu but I blame myself for that. Food was awesome!!

Saint Frank Coffee
1018 Alma St, Menlo ParkI don't mean to sound like an old grinch, or begrudge these guys the business and prices they're able to justify here. But $1 extra on an already $4.50 espresso to make it a macchiato with what, 1 teaspoon of milk? Cmon, this is a little ridiculous. See menu photo as of Dec 2025, attached.
Of course they serve up good quality coffee, and are nice people. But sometimes you just want to feel like you're getting a good value for your money. There's not even indoor seating and real estate to justify this kind of price inflation. Make it just $0.50 more for a macchiato, guys?
