Pet Care

Pet Ear Care Center
10026 Peninsula Ave, CupertinoThank God for this place. My cat Baloo was having chronic ear infections. My regular vet kept giving her the same medicine. Which would work but then her ear infection would come back every time. Using google I found this place. They were cheaper than my regular vet in San leandro, and had so much more knowledge about ears. They found a polyp on her ear drum and now I finally know what's wrong with my cat and how to fix it. Definitely worth the trip to Cupertino. They even washed her ears better than my vet. She has been happier and playing more since her visit, even still having the polyp. This place has the knowledge and equipment to properly diagnose ear problems. Wish I would have found them earlier.

PetLight Therapy Center
21686 Stevens Creek Blvd, CupertinoI started bringing my 12 year old dog, Mercy, here in May after she got diagnosed with DM- Degenerative Myelopathy. The team that treated and provided care for her were incredible, specifically Dr. Greenleaf and Susie. Although Mercy has passed away recently, I'm very grateful for the light treatments they provided her so that my children were able to come back from school to spend some precious time with her before she had to go. My whole family is very grateful to have spent time with Mercy during the last period of her life, which couldn't have been possible without the care that Pet-light Therapy provided.

Cupertino Animal Hospital
10026 Peninsula Ave, CupertinoThis has been my dog’s Vet since I got her at 2 months and I love them, they’re great!! I brought my pup to get spayed and they did an amazing job. I also bring her for her yearly check ups, to get her nails trimmed (bc I’m so scared to hurt her) and they have even done the exam needed to travel outside of the country. I will continue to bring her and trust them with my fur baby.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Dough Zone Dumpling House Cupertino
19600 Vallco Pkwy Suite 130, CupertinoDough Zone was great for a late dinner. The service was extremely fast (we waited less than a minute for a cold dish and got out of the restaurant within 30m) and the food was good. And best of all, the prices are extremely affordable. Many filling items are under $10 and parking is free. Would recommend!

The City Fish
21678 Stevens Creek Blvd, CupertinoHave had this place bookmarked for years! We came to Anza flea market and finally had a chance to come for lunch. Overall I liked this location more than the Morgan Hill one. The main draw is the fish and chips and these are closer to American style than they are to UK. The fries are a nice medium cut and were great. Fish was slightly over fried but still tasted good. We got 3 pieces of fish for a family of 4 and while it was enough fish there weren't enough fries, next time we would get 2 orders. Sea bass: grilled with a paprika blend. Well cooked and easily flak d with a spoon we got them with a side of coleslaw and tomatoes with basil. Loved the coleslaw, even though it was sitting in a lot of liquid. A nice light hint of mayo and the cabbage tasted super fresh. Wife got the clam chowder, heavy handed on the cream and would pass in it next time.

QQ Noodle
10889 S Blaney Ave, CupertinoThis is one of my favorite places to eat at in Cupertino.
QQ Noodle is a no frills, causal and quick service place. Don’t let that fool you though. The place is clean and the staff is friendly.
There is a QR code at each table and you scan to place your order. The waiters will then bring your food out to you. The food comes out quick and delicious.
What we ordered:
Liang Pi: This is one of my favorite dishes and not many places make this anymore. QQ Noodles makes my favorite Liang PI and this is a dish I will always order if I see it on the menu in both North Cal and NYC. The noodles are bouncy, the cucumbers refreshing and just the right level of spice. No frills deliciousness.
Sour Mustard and Grass Fish Noodle Soup: I tried it with wide noodle but next time I think I will get the round. The wide noodles are hand pulled which have that great texture and chew. It is done well so there is not a mouthful of dough like some other places. Fish is plentiful and so is the portion of sour mustard.
Large Plate Chicken Noodles (No Bone). Not on their printed menu, this was an option when you scan the QR code. They use chicken thighs and its braised with potato. Flavorful and just the right level of spice thats too spicy but offers a little kick for flavor.
If you are in the neighborhood, stop by for a quick meal. TP tea in the same strip mall is also a wonderful Bubble tea place that makes their drinks with brewed tea.

Rio Adobe Southwest Cafe
10525 S De Anza Blvd #100, CupertinoGreat customer service. Fresh Salsas, every day they told me. The place is great for lunch or dinner. I had a chicken burrito. It has sour cream and guacamole rice and beens. It was good! They tell me that the wet burrito is good. After they Wrap the burrito they add cheese on top after it's been wrapped and then they add a special sauce the one they use on enchiladas and then they put it to bake so the outside cheese melts. Sure sounds tasty I would say!

212 New York Pizza
19998 Homestead Rd, CupertinoI stumbled upon this place by chance today while walking to the Oakmont Market, and I’m so glad I did. As soon as I stepped inside, I was greeted by the owner with such warmth that it felt like reconnecting with an old friend. We chatted, shared stories, and talked about how important community and family are. These days, it’s rare to walk into a restaurant and instantly feel at home, but that’s exactly what it felt like here.
This is a true family-owned business (also a rarity in the bay area), and you can tell immediately how much pride they take in both their food and their service. The owner personally helped me choose a few items, prepared everything fresh on the spot, and sent me off with not just delicious food but also the kind of welcoming feeling you carry with you the rest of the day.
If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. Places like this deserve our support and we should help them thrive!

Oakmont Sandwiches
19998 Homestead Rd Suite C, CupertinoThis place is so great OMG. I messed up my order but they still fixed it at no extra cost. They gave each cup of coffee individualized attention and made sure it was what we wanted. The selections are huge. They also have a lot of specialty sandwiches that I didn't get to try this time but will certainly try again when I'm in the area.

Ten Ren Tea
10881 N Wolfe Rd, CupertinoTen Ren is hands-down my favorite boba spot in the Cupertino area, their tea tastes like tea and the flavors added are not too overwhelming. Staff are friendly and will happily help you with your order if you find there are any problems with your drink. Prices are not bad and they have one of the more generous rewards systems that I've seen. Always happy to come and support this store. I recommend their Honeydew GMT!
