Pet Care

Pet Ear Care Center
10026 Peninsula Ave, CupertinoI brought my 2-year old Persian cat to this place for stenotic nare surgery (his nose job I've been calling it). Not only is this one of the few places in the Bay Area that offer a cost-effective stenotic nare surgery (it was ~$2.5k and for the record VCA quoted me >$5k) but they did SUCH an excellent job and took care of my cat so well. AND HE BREATHES SO GOOD NOW! They gave me a variety of medication to bring home (pain relievers, anti-inflammatory meds, and antibiotics) that was included in the cost and they even called after to check up on the cat. I honestly would recommend this hospital to everyone needing the same surgery done on their cat. Mr Grumpy is doing great after the surgery, recovering well, and breathing so good.
I'm just blown away how good the surgery looks, I thought my cat's face would look mangled or gross but I keep looking and it's like I can't tell he even got surgery.

PetLight Therapy Center
21686 Stevens Creek Blvd, CupertinoI had never thought about light therapy before but with my 15 year old dog I was looking for something to help his arthritis and associated aches and pain that his medications just weren't addressing. So we started red light/UV therapy and in just a few weeks I can see changes in my dogs overall movement. He was stiff and suffering from inflammation in hind legs, hip, and back. Now he is walking better and getting up from lying down much better.
Vet and staff are so nice!
Most importantly my dog seems to love the therapy because never have I seen him lay down and relax like he does for his treatment.

DeAnza Veterinary Clinic
7325 Fallenleaf Ln, CupertinoDr. Greenspan, Olivia and Team are an absolute delight! I have had guinea pigs for over 10 years and this is my go to place for regular checkups physicals and emergency visits. Dr. Greenspan has had guinea pigs herself and has first hand experience on how to provide next level medical service so that my baby always gets what she needs and I leave feeling heard!! I am the helicopter mom of helicopter moms and I have vetted a lot of places in the Bay Area ( Especially for Exotics) and I don’t care if I have to drive over an hour and a half to get to this clinic I will because the care is exceptional

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Haidilao Hot Pot Cupertino
19409 Stevens Creek Blvd #100, CupertinoIt’s been a while since I last dined at Haidilao Cupertino, but the experience still stands out clearly in my mind. The ambience feels warm and lively, with a steady buzz of conversation and the soft sound of simmering pots at each table. The space is modern and clean, with organized seating that works well for both small groups and larger gatherings. Staff move with a calm, efficient pace, checking in often without hovering, which keeps the meal feeling relaxed. The sauce bar is a highlight, offering fresh ingredients and plenty of ways to customize your flavors, even if you stick to mild options.
Because of health conditions, I can’t handle spicy food, so I usually choose gentle broths and focus on vegetables, noodles, and lighter meats. Haidilao does a good job making those mild bases feel comforting and flavorful without relying on heat. The ingredients arrive fresh and neatly arranged, and the pacing of the meal lets you cook at your own rhythm. The sweet soup at the end is a small but memorable touch, especially after a long, slow hot pot session. The overall dining experience feels thoughtful, from the service to the way the meal is structured around conversation and shared cooking.
Even though it’s been some time since my last visit, Haidilao Cupertino remains a place I’d happily return to when the craving for hot pot or noodles hits. The combination of ambience, service, and customizable food makes it easy to enjoy the meal without worrying about spice or dietary limits. It’s the kind of spot that works for both casual lunches and longer dinners, and it stays in mind as a reliable choice for future visits.

Mian Sichuan Noodles (Cupertino) 滋味小麵
19389 Stevens Creek Blvd, CupertinoThese were the best noodles I’ve ever had! I ordered chicken with pumpkin puree and my husband had clear broth beef noodles, and both were amazing. Staff were very friendly. Everything was served in less than 15 minutes though it was lunch time. The only thing were the portions - they were huge even for my husband ) if they had options of ordering half a portion that would be perfect 👌🏻

Brew Bytes Cafe
19998 Homestead Rd Ste C, CupertinoThis coffee shop has a nice aesthetic and a comfortable seating area, but my experience was just average. The coffee was okay—not bad, but nothing particularly special either.
The menu had a decent variety, though some items felt slightly overpriced. Service was polite, but a bit slow during my visit.
It’s a decent place if you’re in the area, but I’m not sure I’d go out of my way to come back.
