Pet Care

Peaceful Pathways In-Home Pet Hospice and Euthanasia
2625 Middlefield Rd Ste 290, Palo AltoWe recently made the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our beloved cat Simba, who was 16 years old and suffering from progressive kidney disease that had taken away her appetite and her quality of life. Choosing in-home euthanasia was difficult, but Peaceful Pathways made it as gentle and peaceful an experience as we could have hoped for.
From our very first phone call, Amy was warm, patient, and genuinely caring as she helped us set up the appointment. We weren't sure we were making the right decision, and she answered all our questions with kindness and reassurance during a really uncertain time.
When Dr. Jenn Winnick arrived, her compassion was immediately evident. She took the time to explain everything and assured us we were doing the right thing for Simba. She treated Simba with such gentle care and created a calm, loving atmosphere for her final moments. Her kindness turned an unbearably sad day into one filled with peace and dignity for our sweet girl.
We are forever grateful to Dr. Winnick and Amy for helping us say goodbye to Simba in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by love. If you're facing this difficult decision, I cannot recommend Peaceful Pathways highly enough.

Sun Of Wolf
406 California Ave, Palo AltoExcellent service, beautiful decor, and such a clean restaurant. We had brunch reservations for a larger group and this place delivered on every aspect. First off, the boozy cold brew was amazing - treat yourself to a spiked cold brew. Some of our faves were the mole tacos, breakfast burrito, and the pancakes. Everything was well seasoned and had great flavors! Can't wait to come back and try this place out for dinner!

Cafe Pro Bono
2437 Birch Street, Palo AltoThe rack of lamb is fantastic! The dish, “Susan's Downfall” has lots of calories, but it is sooooo good. You should at least share the appetizer version.

World Wrapps
180 Stanford Shopping Center Unit 240-C, Palo AltoIt's always one of my aunt and my favorite places to eat. To bad they don't have any restaurants in the Central Valley.

Ada's Cafe
3700 Middlefield Rd, Palo AltoWe ordered mocha, empanadas, and croissant sandwich. The mocha was okay, not great, not bad, just okay. The foods were incredibly tasty, which we did not expect from a small shop in front of the library. The staff was very accommodating, and the service overall was great. There was not much indoor seating or there were plenty of outdoor ones. One should expect high noise levels, a lot of loud children, and people not cleaning up after themselves after spilling food all over the table at a self-service cafe.

Joanie's Cafe
405 California Ave, Palo AltoAbsolutely love Joanie's Cafe when I'm craving a good ole American style breakfast. I grew up with those meals and Joanie's reminds of those great times.
Eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, omelettes, Benedicts, pancakes, juices and coffee. You arrive hungry and leave satisfied because the portions are hefty. Doesn't break the bank either. Great service from a professional staff.
My favorite is to visit Joanie's on a Sunday and enjoy the Farmer's Market on California Ave right after.
