971 N San Antonio Rd, Los AltosI heard about this restaurant having good food so I have to see for myself. First of all the waitress was very courteous it made me feel welcome. The inside was authentic and lively. I ordered the mole enchilada, and it was tremendous. I'm definitely going back again.

994 Los Altos Ave, Los AltosOn a Sunday bike ride and I did one of those flybys and neck flip. It was so cute I had to stop. Folks I rode with had the cappuccino and I had the matcha latte and a small croissant. I feel like portions here are meant for little kids. The morning buns for example is such you could fit maybe 2-3 in the palm of your hand. And when we went every single table has kids and parents. One of whom was nice enough to get his kids to consolidate to free up a table and a chair. Nice customers and nice staff. The restroom is pretty impressive also.

Redwood Grove Nature Preserve
482 University Ave, Los Altoscame here with my 3-year-old, and we absolutely loved it. It's such a nice place to bring toddlers and young kids to enjoy nature, listen to the creek, and admire the beautiful, tall trees. It was so peaceful and relaxing.
The only thing I wish is that the trail were a little longer, since it's a pretty short walk. But honestly, we still had a great time, and it was definitely worth the visit. I can only imagine how beautiful it must be after it rains, so I'll definitely be coming back then.
One thing that really stood out to me was seeing a family enjoying lunch at one of the picnic tables. There was so much shade, and they just looked so happy spending time together. It was really nice to see and made the place feel even more welcoming.
If you're looking for a simple, peaceful place to enjoy nature with your little ones or get away for a bit, I definitely recommend it.

Los Altos Tasting Room & Bottle Shop
415 Grand Avenue, South San FranciscoI frequent Los Altos Tasting room regularly. It is a nice, relaxing place to go to after a hard day at work. The wine is excellent, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable especially Theo and Vince. Many times the owner, Benny, is there and will give you his insight on the different wines he is producing. I highly recommend this establishment.

233 State St, Los AltosUrfa Bistro in Los Altos is a gem, authentic with generous hospitality and host touches everywhere: from the welcome by the staff, cloth napkins, clean tables, and clean bathrooms. They have patio seating front and back, I decided not to bring my dog and I’m glad I didn't. She would have been miserable watching me eat their lovely food.
The food was flavorful and not overwhelming; everything was seasoned appropriately for the cuisine. The specials were unique to this area paired with a wonderful wine, beer and nonalcoholic list.
We came for a relaxed lunch with 4 people June 2026 and we tasted the depth of their menu, everyone was happy. I had a white wine from Corsica with my grilled Branzino fish filet and a mixed green salad with a balance of light Mediterranean flavors including arugula, herbs, sliced almonds, couscous, figs, purple pickled red cabbage, white wine vinaigrette. These are the things I hope to find in a restaurant of this quality. Very lovely vibe.

The veggie pizza was ok, the flavors were good but didnt have enough salt and the bottom was bit soggy. The service was the highlight - very friendly, helpful and was visibly happy to help. We also love the pomegranate & caddy margaritas. You get chips & salsa with your meal which is rare now a days and they refill them for free. A wonderful spot to dine whenever in Los Altos. We highly recommend. If your ever in the area stop by you will not be disappointed!
