Hairy Hounds
4700 Main Street, OakleyHairy Hounds in Oakley did a phenomenal job with my anxious, high strung, matted malamute husky mix. I struggle trusting people with my animals and I am so glad I trusted Hairy Hounds to groom her. They were gentle, took their time, communicated and absolutely transformed my girl. I appreciated how much time Hairy Hounds took to quell my concerns and answer questions. My dog returned to me stress free, relaxed, happy and absolutely gorgeous. They did a full groom, paw pad trim, nail trim, ear cleanse, brush out and teeth brushing. They even sent her home with a pumpkin spice pawfume on and a Harry Potter themed bandana to match her Harry Potter themed name. This was the best $130 ($80 base price + $20 brush out +$5 nails + $5 teeth + $20 tip) I have ever spent, I am so glad I trusted Hairy Hounds.

The vet was so kind that my traumatized chicken felt so comfortable during the exam. The tech was so patient in showing me how to administer pills, including guiding me as I tried the maneuver multiple times.

4526 Main Street, OakleyI brought my 3 pets (Bucky, Steve, and Loki) in. The staff were very nice, helpful, and eased my concerns. I took one of my pets in because he was losing fun and I was concerned about a health issue. We went over the general exam, possible things to do next, and future plans when health does decline. Since I went, I stopped losing sleep over the what ifs and have a plan for the future. After I took by first one, same day I set up appointments for my other two so we could have a general checkup. I'll be brining my pets here in the future.

Had an emergency with Lucy when the cats were 2 weeks old, vet & her staff were on it, then helped us to get them all fixed at 8 weeks including mama. I am so grateful to them all for what they did. Yogurt island is a special and old school yogurt, ice cream, and shaved ice parlor that you will find almost nowhere else. I just got the Hawaiian guava sorbet and it is so delicious! God Bless Yogurt Island, we love you! ❤

We came here after his cemetery service with nearly 50 of our family and friends, and everything was handled beautifully. The staff was incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating during a day that was already so emotional for our family. They made sure we had what we needed, gave us the space to gather and remember him, and took so much stress off my shoulders.
The location honestly felt perfect for my Papa. Being able to bring everyone together, share stories, laugh, cry, eat, and raise a drink to him meant more than I can explain.
The food was great, the service was wonderful, and most importantly, we were treated with genuine kindness. When you’re planning something like this while grieving, that kindness matters more than people realize.
Thank you to everyone at Whiskey Tango Foxtrot for helping us give Papa Pete a beautiful send-off. Our family will always remember that day and how well you took care of us. 💙🎣

The strawberry madness and a mango cheesecake are my personal favorites. You can customize your order with a variety of toppings to choose from.
Service is usually quick and friendly! It's a great local spot for rolled ice cream!
