“The Save On pharmacy in here is AMAZING. The staff goes above and beyond to help you out. I had an issue with my insurance not covering my Rx and me having to pay out of pocket. The pharmacist went out of her way to find out what exactly my insurance covered then called my Dr office and stayed on the line with them till they were able to adjust my Rx so my insurance would cover it. They even let me know about GoodRx and how to save money. Such a better experience than CVS. 10/10 would recommend”
“This is the only grocery store that sells wild caught salmon from the Atlantic and not from China and not farmed, even though that's available if you don't mind it. I am careful about reading labels and like to stick to the most natural salmon without preservatives or antibiotics that farmed fish has. So now I only go here to buy my salmon. It's a large store so I find a wide selection of many other things as well. I was pleased to buy air chilled chicken that was buy one get one free tonight as well. It just have been my lucky day lol. The butchers are very nice and helpful and they have a button to push fire customer service if they are in the back!”

There’s never a wait, they have the most responsive pharmacists - getting doctors to send prescriptions proactively, informing me by phone when it’s filled, super professional and kind. Even overweiht and COMEPLETELY BLOATED at 6'5 and hauloing trash for Waste Management allday, again statrting my route Monday, I jist sity and drive a Cushy Chair but Wed is my route to pick up beddy Capt Fred's dumpster Wed so I'll ask for him all the time, and he jist tells me stries 'bout how a spuad car with two pakong officer wer val for a hesaid/ she saod compint and his kids Wed. He knows all my dumpster and trash and Boar crossing routes. I or my buddies pickup all the trash for apt blgds, drugstores, and houses one day. The produce looks great! The layout of the store makes shopping effortless. The outer walkways are wide, and the aisles are typical. I've gone here first thing in the morning, mid-day, and early evenings... it's always clean. (A million times cleaner than the Vons on Tamarack in C'bad. LOL) The self check out actually functions properly, so that was nice. The only downside? THE HORRENDOUS PARKING LOT. You'll find parking, that's not the issue. It's the compact size of the lot and the fact that it's part of a strip mall with no less than three fast food restaurants, three small biz restaurants, a party supply store, an Auto Zone, a barber shop, nail shop... you get the point. A LOT GOING ON IN A SMALL AREA. But, I am SO THANKFUL this WalMart is here!”

“I think this review is important, because so many people give CVS bad reviews, because they have to wait in line, or the medicine they need isn't available when they really need it. I understand that, and it is unfortunate. But I also understand, that long lines, and not having the medicine available, is rarely their fault. Until we "walk in someone's shoes", it's better not to judge, or criticize. I'm giving a positive review because every time I have been at the pharmacy, every staff member has treated me with kindness, professionalism, helpfulness, and friendliness. I want to give a shout out to Shreya. She is the Pharmacy associate that usually helps me at the register. She is such a sweetheart! I always look forward to having her ring me up at the register, and help me with my prescriptions. it's associates like her, as well as specific ones at the retail counter, that make going to CVS a lot easier and rewarding! I will come back with compliments for other specific associates later, on this review, because I can't remember the name of a certain associate that helps me in the retail counter actually three of them, that I would like to personally thank publicly for their kindness, professionalism and helpfulness. There's no perfect place, or perfect person, but I do know that this pharmacy that I go to on Oceanside Blvd., has wonderful staff . Every once in a while, you might get a bad "weed", in the mix of all the "lovely flowers", but that's how it is in life with families, and businesses. It's best to appreciate all the lovelies. In all the years I’ve visited this store, I have never come across someone who consistently greets customers with such positivity and a genuine smile. She makes everyone feel welcome. “Came in to pick up a photo order earlier than the scheduled pickup time, and the staff printed it for me immediately. While I was waiting, I watched one of the employees notice that an elderly woman needed a ride home and help her sort out a rideshare to make sure she got home safely. Then, without missing a beat, that same employee jumped onto a register to make sure the main checkout line didn’t get too long. Just incredible staff. Genuinely caring, attentive, and willing to go above and beyond for everyone who walked in. Really impressive service.”
Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
