Pampered Pups Salon and Spa
155 Rainsville Rd, PetalumaJason is awesome!
I have two pups - one who is easy going, the other needs sedation (literally for everything).
Jason is great with both of them. But what I appreciate the most, is that he sets expectations for my difficult pup, and is still willing to push as much as he can. And every time my difficult pup comes out, he is still cute!! Jason lets me know where he struggled, and I try to make up where I can at home, but at least he made sure that the money makers (the face) look great. I'm so grateful!
Jason is patient and gentle - I can tell because neither of my pups EVER come home with cuts in their armpits or their sensitive areas - PEOPLE CHECK THE ARMPITS AND FOLDS OF YOUR PUPS - if there are cuts, they are going too fast and THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN WITH JASON!
Highest recommendation!

Best In Show Pet Grooming
2000 Lakeville Hwy STE B, PetalumaWhat a great shop and what a great experience. The shop is a wide open and bright space. My Bernedoodle, Otto, is still a very rambunctious puppy but his groomer, Caitlin, took extra care to calm him and make him comfortable. He is so handsome in his summer cut! Reasonably priced and worth the drive from Martinez. Enjoy downtown Petaluma while you wait. I will return with my 14 year old Yorkie and provide an update.

Adobe Animal Hospital
408 Madison St, PetalumaAfter several disappointing vet experiences in Marin, Adobe Animal Hospital in Petaluma has been such a relief. The entire team is professional and skilled, the facility is gorgeous, and service is efficient. They excel at all the details that matter - thorough follow-ups, helpful notes, appointment reminders, and giving each client focused attention without running late. Worth every minute of the drive - we even made the trip from the city. Our dog trainer recommended them and drives from the East Bay herself. So grateful we found them.

Sonoma Marin Veterinary Service
1120 Industrial Ave STE 13, PetalumaLove the team at Sonoma Marin Vet. They've taken great care of my horse for years. Let's be honest, my horse is high maintenance. Horses in general are high maintenance. The team at Sonoma Marin works with our coach to make routine care for my horse effortless for me. I work my butt off paying for my horse's lifestyle, I'm tired like all the time. It's kinda priceless having a positive long standing relationship with my horse's care team.

TruVet Specialty and Emergency Hospital
2620 Lakeville Hwy Bldg D, PetalumaTreatments were well explained, prompt, caring and patient staff. They were totally open to discussing varying treatment options and the upsides and downsides. Just an overall great feeling and flow of experience. Honestly the entirety of staff i dealt with were super friendly and wonderful to deal with. What I appreciated most is knowing there's an emergency hospital my dog feels safe at(which is important because he can be VERY unwieldy at the vet), and that i feel will provide quality care when we need it most.

It's A Dog's Life
2715 Skillman Ln, PetalumaIt’s a dogs life does such a great job with our dog! He has boarded here several times for about a week and also a few long weekends. The staff are always laid back but very knowledgeable and caring - our pup seems to have a great time here! The grooming is also the best that we have found in the Petaluma area. What I also really appreciate is that they don’t nickel and dime you so that your pup can play with other dogs, get fresh air / potty time or if they need to have medication administered. It’s just a great stay for my dog all around and we appreciate the staff for that!

PET INDULGENCE
538 Almanor St, PetalumaDo you have a shy, older cat that needs special, gentle care & attention? This is the service for you. I lucked out with Karen A. being assigned to my 9 day service need. I expected my Maya to spend the visits under the bed or in the closet. In just 3 visits, she was welcoming Karen and her petting. Loved the daily updates, photos and video I was able to share with my 99-year old Mom I was visiting. (She used to be my Mom's cat). There pricing is right-on. I am glad I found this service as I am new to Sonoma.

Dairydell Doggie Dude Ranch & Training Center
2575 Old Adobe Rd, PetalumaI’ve been taking my English Bulldog to Dairydell for a few years now. The staff is super knowledgeable and helpful! My pup comes back after a week or two of boarding clean, healthy, happy, and sleepy. I appreciate how attentive everyone has been with her - they’re well-trained in keeping up with her meds and recently helped me find the best boarding-routine for her after she’s been through two knee surgeries this past year. My vacations are even better knowing that she’s at the best place she could possibly be when I’m out of town.

Canine Excellence
Del Oro Cir, PetalumaWe use Canine Excellence for pack walks and dog sitting. They are absolutely the best! When my dog comes back from her Walk, she is happy and well exercised. She knows the days her walker comes and anxiously waits at the window for her arrival. We all love the photos they take of all the dogs sitting and walking. I don't know how they do it but it's amazing. After having a bad experience at one of our local dog boarding places, I have 100% confidence my dogs are safe, happy and well taken care of with the Canine Excellence pet sitters. Petaluma Cheese Shop / Barber Cellars Winery
112 Washington St, PetalumaNot to be missed experience. Barber Cellars/Petaluma Cheese Shop are located in the historic Petaluma Hotel. The decor is quaint and unique. Michael, owner, greeted us and poured a tasting of 6 wines all of which were great. I especially enjoyed the Sangiovese and bought 2 bottles as well as bottles of Rose of Sangiovese and Zinfandel. The fondue we shared was exceptional and some of the dipping choices seemed odd until we tried them. The best by far was the apple first dipped in the cheese and then the chocolate sauce. Thank you Michael for your friendly service and we enjoyed hearing about your wine making experience. Everyone in our party agreed that we will definitely come again.

It was an absolute wild goose chase for Emily but she devoted all her time to make sure our cat could be reunited to us.
