I regularly take my two dogs here for grooming and they love it. Patty and her team are always so kind, thorough and effective with my puppies. She books out for a few months so book ahead!

The staff and Dr Shay Redfield are such pros. The doc gave a complete assesment of my dog and explained to me in detail about after care and also found an infection in his ear right away. They cleaned and medicated and sent me home with meds to administer. Dr R is so knowlegable and caring, I was just smitten with the visit. I am so glad to find a vet I can trust and also see such a great team working together at West Marin Veteriinary. Best place iin Marin for pet care. Thanks so much guys!

It’s unfortunate to see a long review written this way, especially when the situation being described leaves out some very important context. I was actually present at the restaurant that evening and witnessed what happened.
Actually The restaurant was almost full but you couldn’t see it and the staff were doing their best to take care of the guests.
This walk-in lady and her husband appeared to have been drinking before or upon arriving. They sat down without initially informing the staff, and while the server was simply pouring water for them, she began asking for items that were unfortunately unavailable that evening, including sparkling wine/brut/champagne.
The server calmly explained that those items were out of stock. Before he could even finish explaining the situation, she became visibly upset, threw the roll on the table, and began speaking angrily and murmuring toward the staff.
So the picture painted in this review of a server simply being “surly and indifferent” is not what I witnessed at all. Sometimes restaurants run out of certain menu items—that happens. What matters is how people treat the staff when something isn’t available.
I’ve seen the staff at this restaurant on many occasions and locations and they work hard to provide good food, a welcoming atmosphere, and genuine hospitality. One difficult interaction should not erase years of service or the many customers who clearly continue to enjoy this place.
To the restaurant team: keep going. Running a restaurant is incredibly difficult, and you can’t please everyone. The people who appreciate your food, your effort, and your hospitality know the difference.
For anyone reading these reviews and considering visiting: judge the restaurant by your own experience, not by one angry evening. This is a place worth supporting, and the staff deserve respect just as much as the customers do.

Not to mention, reasonable prices, great service, quality products. Oh, and easy parking for any vehicle. I parked my massive RV because that is what I was driving when I discovered the flat tire on my ebike.

Writing this review less than two weeks after having it, little sticks out. Most notable is the bun, which had an oddly firm crust that I found off-putting. The fries were enjoyable, service good, and restaurant itself well laid out. But as for the burger...it's a slightly nicer version of Gott's burger. Good, not great.
