“This is a wonderful local business! Z, the owner, is super helpful and very nice. I got my passport pictures taken here and he took the time to set it up and made sure I liked it. He has a good lighting and backdrop setup and has software that ensures the image would be accepted. Afterwards, he ensured I had everything I needed for my passport application and mailed it out for me. On another occasion, I brought something I needed mailed out, and he helped me package it and mailed it out for a very reasonable price. You can ship things through USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL so it's a one stop shop. Thanks, Z!”

“My newly adopted dog flew from New York JFK to San Francisco via Alaska Air Cargo. They kept me informed every step of the way. We arrived early (about an hour) and when we walked into the Air Cargo office we were greeted by a very friendly Alaska Airlines employee who immediately knew we were there to pick up a dog. As the flight wasn't due in for an hour (on time) she took our mobile number and called us when the flight arrived so that we could grab some lunch. After she called, we went back and found our lovely new dog ready for pick up in her crate all safe and happy. They even helped us load the crate into our car after we met her out for a short walk and some fresh water. She was well cared for and arrived safe and sound. They even checked that she was healthy and okay and took the best care of our new rescue dog. Alaska Air Cargo is like flying first class!”

“I just have to say, this specific UPS location is most community/ neighborhood oriented local business I have known, and is truly focusing on efficiency, service, and personal connection. It is ran by a family who are one of the kindest people I have ever met. Specifically, I would like to highlight Carla. She is very knowledgeable in her job, but also she is the one making sure this place is welcoming, including decorating it on every holiday-which is extremely cute and makes me very happy the moment I walk in. Carla also recently helped me with one unfortunate UPS incident that wasn't even part of their branch. She was there for me in a very tough situation and I will be forever grateful to her for that. Her husband-the owner, and their son also work there, and they are super cool and hard-working. Any time I come in, my tasks are always solved with care, efficiency, very quickly and easily. Man was super friendly, used his well provisioned camera setup to take an Australian passport photo. High quality, better than a pharmacy.Even reminded me to not smile because that’s the requirement. “My partner and I were looking for a local notary for our domestic partner paperwork, and after calling the Balboa Business Center to confirm that the service was available that day and confirming, I ended up calling again to ask if they also were able to do passport photos, as I happened to need new photos to renew my passport! It turned out that they did, and the store owner said they'd have the photos done while doing the paperwork that we needed notarized! Great! The owner and staff are incredibly friendly! The owner thoroughly explained how the paperwork was to be filled out, and how to send it in! The cost of notarized signature was more than fair, and we were happy to pay the $15 per signature (twice, just in case) as well as the $15 passport photo! Everything was incredibly smooth and easy, and I couldn't recommend the Balboa Business Center with more enthusiasm, I'm maxxed out! They're just awesome! 11/10! Also worth mentioning: there was a bit of a que when we first arrived, but within two or three minutes the other customers were sorted and we were helped! Truly an incredibly business, and the owner answered our questions thoroughly, answering that he'd lost count of how many years he'd been there when we asked how long he'd had his shop! We love a small business thriving in a big city! We don't live particularly close (not far either, but there are closer places) but we'll drive to come back here whenever possible!!”
