“I am not really one to write reviews, but with the service I had here, I just had to take the timeout of my day to write it. I believe the young man that helped us was named Ronald. He was so kind, patient, thoughtful. When we talked to him you could tell that he was actively LISTENING to what we had to say, and he would always be smiling. He really is a the right person when it comes to customer service. This was the first time my family rented a car and Ronald made it a wonderful experience. We will definitely be coming back to this location if we ever need to rent a car again. As far as service goes, they will definitely find a car that will meet your expectations and financial needs. I would recommend.”

“I absolutely love this place, The customer service, the prices, and the cars. Luckily I got to interact with everyone which was such a nice experience because I got a ride from Kia to greenleaf by Bryan and he was so nice on the way to our destination, then when I got to Greenleaf Sebastian was there to help me with my rental but he had to go and then Yesenia took over and both experiences with Sebastian and Yesenia were amazing, super nice. Lastly once I rented my car Sarah went outside with me to take pictures of the car and making sure it was clean and ready for me to go, she was super nice as well. Overall this was all a great experience here at Greenleaf rent a car and I 100 percent recommend this place to everyone it was amazing and I can’t wait to rent another car here :)”

“Incredible customer service. Tarek was very helpful and willing to work within my budget for the repairs, but also provided detailed info about how much the job would realistically cost. Very easy to get ahold of, he answered every question that I had, and there were no delays in the length of service. “Recently purchased a vehicle through Toyota of Escondido. There were some large items that were broken on the van Toyota replaced these items free of charge. Even gave me a rental van. What a team! “In the early summer of 2019, I was desperately searching for an affordable car storage location near Carlsbad, CA for my 2002 Land Rover Discovery Series II. Resigned to an outdoor storage location without any car care amenities, I managed to stumble on the internet upon Palomar Car Company in Vista. Jerry, the owner, was absolutely phenomenal. His facility is small but first class all the way. I was going to be overseas for a year and needed someone to do more than simply store my vehicle. Jerry and his facility was just the ticket I was searching for. Indoors, climate controlled, cared for with a loving hand, and monitored by cameras 24/7, Jerry knows what he's doing. Easily recommended with a 5 out of 5 rating, this is where you want to store your car.”

“Worked with this location, even though I have one closer in Solana Beach, a few different times now. Great service, nice staff. They always have a ton of cars to choose from. Several times they didn't have the level of car I reserved, but always found one comparable or higher level. Satisfied each time. Will continue to reserve at this location.”

“Best experience ever at any rental car facility, due to Michael!!I have a big thank you and kudos to give to Michael at the Budget/Avis Rental facility at 2040 Auto Park Way in Escondido.I got there near closing time as I would ned to return the rental later the following day.Michael informed me that they were out of the car type I reserved, but he’d be happy to give me an electric car instead. I explained my concern, given I had never driven an electric car and needed the rental for a job interview in LA.He didn’t force the issue; he was empathetic to my concern and thought quickly. In reviewing the inventory, he found there was one gas car available, but the previous customer returned it thrashed, with dog hair and smelly. He let me know if I would wait, he’d go to the carwash and clean it. I offered to take it as is, and he insisted on the standard of the vehicle he provided.Not only did he go to the car wash, he thoroughly vacuumed it, and deodorized it. When I received the car it was like new!! Michael heard my concern, got creative, and went above and beyond to put my mind at ease with my rental. Michael even gave me a high-level overview of car intricacies.I was surprised to find out he was not the owner because I have never received that level of service with a car rental, anywhere.In summary, Michael heard my concern and was so kind and professional, and though he offered to provide me with a walk-through to build my assurance, he didn’t try to guilt me. He went above and beyond to get me in the car I needed to feel confident in my ability to make the 2.5-hour commute to my interview.I Thank God for the blessing of Michael and outstanding customer service and professionalism in a critical time.Thank you, Michael, and thank you, Avis!”

“I unexpectedly had to drop my car off at Firestone in Rancho Bernardo the other day. They had to order the tires I needed and I wasn't going to have a car for a day. I walked over to Enterprise- so thankful the two businesses were so close. I had no reservations and needed to get to an appointment downtown within the hour. Kyle took care of me immediately! He had the best customer service, so friendly and took care of me right away. I brought the car back later than expected the next day. Kyle was there and greeted me with a smile and " totally understand. I checked in with Firestone about your car and knew the situation." Even after I left, Kyle drove over to Firestone and handed me my garage remote AND a ring he found in the car ( my daughters). I will be going back to see Kyle next time I need a rental!”

“I bought a car at Avis in Vista Ca. One of the highlights about this car was that it came with two keys! However when I needed the second key I opened the envelope and it was the wrong key. I immediately called and emailed with Jaime Perez, the general manager and he was completely responsive to my dilemma and quickly remedied the situation. I worked with Jaime and Laura Sievers and they ordered and paid for my keys directly to the city I live in! I had such a great experience with both Jaime and Laura, they are awesome people and keep to their word! My car a 2021 Honda Civic has run great since I purchased the vehicle back in April of this year! I highly recommend purchasing your vehicle from Avis in Vista CA! “It is a small counter on Carlsbad airport. I got a great one way rental for a great price from decent staff. But wait time was longer here. Additionally you need to walk far away to pick up the car. I had to go back to the counter to report a scratch on the car body after picking it up.”

“The four stars are for the wonderful employee's of Hertz;A Shout Out to Zaira, Selena, Nate, and the Oceanside crew for always being wonderful to work with.Hertz is a great budget option for a rental. Lots of options to choose from and friendly employees.They didn't receive a 5-star review because their website and Google list them as having a location at KCRQ. They do not.They DO however deliver and pick-up cars from the businesses there for passengers who fly in and make sure to book with the correct office.I work on this airport and the amount of calls requesting to book a rental with me can reach up to 20 per day.This takes up valuable time and at times hampers day-to-day operations. My workplace also receives calls from their disgruntled customers who are never pleasant, especially if you tell them they've reached the wrong number.If anyone from Hertz reads this then I would recommend that they remove the phone numbers of the businesses on the field from their website where clients book.Instead, have first option be only to select the Airport in general, the next option can be which FBO or Location on the field that they would like to pick up from. Finally, the last option can be to have a BOLDED very noticeable reminder/notice that any rental related questions or concerns or emergency services requests MUST go through HERTZ and not one of the businesses on the field.”

“I had a 4-day rental at the Avis at the rancho Bernardo and San Diego I had a great vehicle which was a upgrade from my reservation the staff was friendly courteous kind The vehicle was clean new and very beautiful leather equipped interior considering I only spent less than $190 for a 4-day rental and got a Dodge Durango SUV upgrade I consider choosing Avis in the future for all of my car rental needs especially since I also by using my Amazon account will be getting a gift card in the amount of 20% of my rental price can't beat that thank you Avis”

“Excellent service! I paid in advance for my car so saved $25 right off the top. They didn't have the car when I got there to pick it up because they rented it to somebody else so they gave me an upgrade car for the same price. I got a brand new 2018 Chevy Malibu for $279 for one week! This car was loaded with goodies! Power windows, power steering, WI-FI, power driver's seat, push-button start/stop ...the list goes on! This car drove like a dream. Excellent fuel economy. Great acceleration and braking. I was able to navigate Mountain Roads and L.A. traffic with ease. I definitely recommend Budget car rentals on Bernardo Center Drive. San Diego 92127.”

I travel alot and I have rented cars from all over the country and have approximately 50 year to date rentals this year so I do have more interactions/experience than the average customer when it comes to renting cars. They are absolute professionals at their jobs and go above and beyond when it comes to customer service to ensure that I have great experience every single time I rent a vehicle from this location. “When traveling via car I always try to make a point to rent from Avis. Luckily they usually have the cheapest options as well. Michael is a legend. He's very friendly and takes care of his loyal customers. Only issue I've ever had is one evening they ran out of cars, but they were able to forward our reservation with another car rental company for the same prices”

“We had booked a mini van with CBX Budget car rental. On the day of our vacation, after waiting in line for an hour, when we went to pick up the car they did not have the car available. It is unbelievable how the staff was not able to contact the manager to address the issue. We had specifically booked a mini van because my dad is paralyzed and could not get in any other big cars. We had no idea what to do. My family was waiting to go on vacation and we finally called Joe(saw him on google). Joe answered immediately and said he had a mini van available. He saved our vacation plans and the rental process was stress free. Friendly and reliable services.”
