“Literally, so easy. I booked through Priceline and had zero problems. The Santa Rosa airport is so tiny that you're from your gate to the desk in mere minutes. I was quickly checked in and was able to grab my car in no time. The cars are parked just outside of the airport and I was out in no time. I was assigned a 2023 Jeep that it was in perfect condition. I also appreciated it had an extra wipe in there for extra clean comfort! I was super impressed with the car I was assigned and had a great time driving through the rolling hills of wine country.”

“Not a lot of recent reviews for this location so I thought I’d put in my 2 cents. I rent from this location multiple times a month and have nothing but excellent service. The one time I got a vehicle with an issue (alignment was off) it was swapped out within 10 minutes. Billing has always been perfect. Cars have always been clean.”

“No problems renting a car, they were not able to provide me a car with a working GPS the day I needed it and I was counting on that as my drive was taking me out of town and I was not familiar with the area so the guy at budget rental upgraded me to a new Cadillac to drive for no extra cost since they could not give me a GPS that day. So it ended up being a nice ride regardless of having to stop directions.”

“We needed a truck to quickly move items from a storage unit. Staff was very matter of fact, efficient, and helpful. They recommended a van when trucks weren't available, price was good. Everything proceeded well with no hitches - full tank, quick walk around, and efficient and timely return. One thing is Google Maps has the entry on the wrong street. Enter from Santa Rosa Avenue. The shop was spartan, downright dirty restroom but functional. They do not allow after hours drop off returns and no key drop. The neighborhood is industrial and didn't appear to be the safest. Overall, a good experience, with excellent service.”

“I had a very positive experience renting from National at Santa Rosa airport. The staff was friendly, and rental lot is very convenient. I also looked at some of the negative reviews, and completely understand those who express frustration when a reserved car is not available. Not defending National, but I travel a lot and recognize the difficulty on their part in ensuring the right amount of cars are available on any given day. I've been stuck with few or no car options at some very large airports, and can imagine how much more difficult it is for National to ensure cars are available at a small location where the pool is so much smaller. In my case, the car model type I had reserved was not available so the Manager quickly jumped in and gave me an amazing upgrade, no hesitation. The car was awesome, and the Manager followed up during my trip via text to make sure everything was good. Their responsiveness really turned a good trip into an amazing one.”

“I’ve been using Smith’s Rent-a-Car on Santa Rosa Blvd since 2017 and they are a really solid, local rental company. Every time I have been in a pinch and needed a car or UHaul vehicle, they were able to help me out. And they were super-patient with me when I had d*** questions about where the gas tank was and trouble locking the U-Haul cargo van I rented (spoiler alert: it was me and not the van that was having trouble). I highly recommend them as a good, reliable local vehicle rental business.”

“Rented it through Kayak, didn't realize that they weren't located right at the airport, had to get an uber. I was worried about this place after reading soo many bad reviews, but I had no issues, I used my own insurance rented a car for 5 days. When they took pictures I asked them to send it to my email as well. When I had to return the car it was Saturday with no parking spots and no one on site, I was worried about leaving the car until Monday, I took pics of everything including full tank of gas and mileage. I received a receipt that everything has closed out on Monday, no extra charges, no issues.”

“I've used Zipcar for 15+ years, and always find the cars clean & working well. Great customer service, too. I almost always get a live human within 30 seconds of calling, and they always solve my problems well, sometimes even when it's my own fault (e.g., helping me unlock the car after I've gone over the deadline and shouldn't have access anymore, so that even though there's a late fee, I can at least extend the reservation and drive home!) Got rid of my car because there were always several Zipcars closer to my house than I could ever park my own car!”
