“My family and I visited this passport office on Monday 12th February, 2024. We arrived around 9.40 am. We were the 4th person in line. The first person had a passport appointment for 10.45 am. The other two were not passport stuff. I am a person who likes to ask questions which are relevant, each person I spoke with behind the counter were friendly. The renewal passport was for our lil one. I had filled out all the forms. Hubby had also made a Passport appointment online and paid for photo services as well, however as we had the time we decided to try the walk in. Walks ins was from 10 am - 11 am Mondays to Wednesdays, so we were early. Luis who attended to us was polite, helpful and very knowledgeable. I had made one error. I filled it over while he took out the pic of our lil one as Hubby went with him. The process was quick. For renewals, for minors, both parents must be present and have form of ID's. If for some reason a parent cannot accompany, you need to check out on the website or ask the office. Your Child original Birth Certificate is required, I tend to keep copies, so make a copy and also your child expired Passport. It has the option to expedite it. Your child documents will be returned to your address. Money order can be done right there as well which we did. I will definitely visit again, as we received great customer service.”

“Tuan has helped me out so many times, but today went above and beyond as he helped make a box that custom-fit what I was trying to deliver, even after it was past closing! Always trying to help people out, always a wonderful attitude- truly an exemplary employee!”

“I moved over this post office from my previous location. The service here runs as need be efficient and down to business. I have heard people be nosey about a previous employee who was in terrible health. Dumbasses like this Rob want to know things that obviously standing in line behind them can not be discussed by another employee. I own a business and you can not give out any personal details period. Get a grip and find a hobby. You take up my time in line with your frivolous complaints. Signed boohoo”

“This post office single-handedly revived my faith in USPS. Or, rather, my faith that trips to the post office can be pleasant. The two fellows that seem to be there most often are so effusively friendly and helpful! To the point where one of them, I believe his name is Jackie, got me something green to wear on Saint Patrick's Day so I wouldn't get pinched. We've since moved and I genuinely miss having those nice moments when I'd run errands. To those who can frequent this post office, please take some time to appreciate it!”

“I had a package accidentically delivered to the wrong P.O. Box. Victor, the Supervisor at this branch went above and beyond to help make sure my package was recovered safely. Victor was in contact with me while the package was missing and made sure everything was done to recover the parcel and keep me informed. This package was irreplaceable and Victor made sure it was recovered. Thank you very much Victor and this USPS branch !”

“Parking is AWFUL! However, the customer service team is always helpful and friendly which I have never experienced in any other post office. Like the one in Verdugo Road where the attendants are incredibly rude.”

“This is my go-to post office because the staff are friendly and helpful and typically when I go (early morning) the wait time is totally reasonable. Parkings not ideal but there are usually a few spots on the street open if you can't wait a few mins for a spot to open up in the lot.”

“For a service that is underpaid and undervalued they always get their job done. The staff at the post office in tujunga is excellent. Usually there is only one person at the desk again due to being underfunded. So usually you have to wait in line for a little bit. But service is thorough and the package gets delivered. God bless the USPS”

“Came here bcz it was one of the few P.O.s open on a Saturday. The sweet & professional employee working the counter, Brandy, was the BEST. So repectful, zero attitude, and hard working.”

“USPS Encino office one of the best post office I like to go because the staff are very customer service oriented. Luis is one of the employees who will always give you a smile to help you-very gratifying specially at a time when we do not trust dropping mail in the mailbox near our medical office. I wish they clone him. Also there is another lady employee (maybe Asian descent) who always helps me and is a very customer service oriented employee-i wish i remember her name. Sorry lady but you are a very good employee who gives the best service”

“I don't understand the low rating, I've been here twice in the past month and my experience has been really nice. Jose has taken care of my packages both times and he was so helpful and polite; I didn't know how to send a package and he was really patient explaining what I had to do. The office is clean, there's plenty of parking (street & paid lot right next to the building) and staff is friendly.”

“I see bad reviews on this location but honestly it has been the best post office that I have found! I normally drop 60+ items per week and NONE of my packages have been stolen, I used to go to the Van Nuys one and like 8 packages got lost and I had to refund my clients , they’re so nice , there’s a Latina girl helping in the front that she’s always so nice to me , and even the one that scans the packages in the back a told guy he’s also so nice , I really trust them a lot , and I see a lot of people dropping items here and I’m pretty sure they trust this place too , they always have a lot of drop offs”

“3/2/21Thank you for the new machine. I got to say is very practical to be able to withdraw money as soon as I get off of work. Even though sometimes the machine runs out of money. It gets quickly refilled. ?”

“This is my second time stopping by. The first one was not good at all. Probably it is because it's almost 5pm and they're closing soon. The male postal worker must be tired and he is not happy to answer inquiries. The second time, I came Friday afternoon. There was a line but it went fast. This lady named Sandra helped me to make the transaction easy. She explained to me in detail the differences regarding the amount of each mailing options. With that, it helped me a lot to decide. I agree with a fellow Yelper - Sandra has been a great. Recommended.”

“I highly recommend this business they are extremely friendly the prices are right and my packages always arrive safe and on time. I also have a mailbox here and the mail delivery service is excellent. If I ever get a package from UPS or FedEx I'll always have a note in my box letting me know to come to the front desk and pick up my package there service is extremely efficient I highly recommend using this business in supporting our community.”

“Postal workers here are in the education business, not logistics. 5 out of the 7 people in front of me don't know the intricacies of whatever they are trying to do. Literally these works are patiently explaining why a $20 increase in insurance won't change the price, why they need more stamps, or that not dealing with them and purchasing the same online would result in literally the same price. Soooo patient. If you're actually expecting to come to a USPS store and be out in 5 minutes, frankly, you're the idiot.Amazing prices and friendly staff!”

“Most post offices have an open door policy. You can use the self-help kiosk to mail packages or purchase stamps after hours. I go there in the wee hours to avoid any lines. It's very convenient!”

“Can't ever reach them when I call. Tried many times to no avail.Websites and web are not to big of a help to reasoning of me trying to get in contact.Trying not to take time off nor waste the gas to drive out there to ask them in person but I just may have to.Otherwise it isn't to bad a post office. Usually fairly fast line. Not the most high spirit and energetic of workers, and seems they are in no rush to get the people in and out, but they do process us alll, and they are fairly nice and polite”

“I used to love being able to come here at ANY hour to use the self-service kiosk and mail out packages…now they lock the doors at 8PM. That was really irritating tonight needing to get something important out after I got off work. ? That’s the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.”

“5 stars for Kesh. She is always so nice and helpful.. Also, the other woman with the glasses (I didn't catch her name). They're always so kind and helpful. I really enjoy this location above the rest. The others seem to have a more miserable atmosphere when you walk in. Lol”

“On July 24, 2023, I had an appointment at the USPS passport division, 313 E. Broadway, Glendale, California, and I did the following and my passport processing went smooth.1. I showed up 30 minutes early 2 day before my appt. I went to the post office to look around for signage for any information in regards to applying for the application and took pictures of all the information and instructions posted and picked up 2 copies of the applications. I went home and reviewed that information, if you don’t have time and can’t go send someone take pictures for you and pick up the application.2. Then I download the application, but made sure in the right hand corner of the application the expiration date had not passed. Use an updated application.3. I typed up and filled out the application, and attached my required documents, (marriage certificate, passport- which wasn’t expired, I just needed to change my name on my passport and my passport card. )4. At my appointment, I told the service lady Shereise, that I was there to have her review my application, so that I can submit it for a name change she checked it told me that I had everything, correct.5. I wanted my application for passport an card expedited, to do so you have to pay $220 + $19.53 for expediting and you will also need to write “EXPEDITE” on the outside of your envelope, as stated in the instructions. So I wrote it on my envelope that my documents were in as well on the outside of my priority, mail express envelope all over several times.6. I got to the post office five minutes before it opened and I met Chi, the clerk at the window. She was awesome. She was thorough. She even looked to make sure I had everything I needed for my envelope according to the fees that I was paying, walk me through the process took all of 5 to 10 minutes the extra minutes because I have write the following on the money: U.S. Department of State, my name, and my birthdate. I gave everything back to Chi and she checked it. $2.00 fee7. Expedite you application Priority Mail Express Send to National Passport Processing Center. PO Box 90955, Philadelphia PA 19190-0955 .$28.75 FeeI will keep you posted on the timing of receiving my passport and card. I hope this information helps made an appointment and showed up 30 minutes early. I did the following and my passport processing went smooth.Today, I wanted to give an update on my passport and I received my passport in the mail by priority mail express on September 2nd showing ship date of August 29, 2023. I think my four week expectation has been exceptionally good. Good luck to everyone else on their passport journey.”
