She'll take careful notes so if you have certain likes/dislikes be sure to let her know. I tend to ask for a non-standard Schnauzer cut that has evolved over the years. Most importantly, I feel completely comfortable leaving my dog in her care.

Plus, THE GROOMERS ARE ALWAYS GREAT TO MY DOG AND I. My dog is a very nervous dog, and she comes out happy every time. SO HAPPY WITH THEM.

Rose has remedied that for us and has been so kind the whole way. No ER visits since and Olive looks adorable! All my neighbors stop and giggle and have to pet her now. It’s the cutest thing ever. When I first brought Cali, my rescue pup, she was extremely sensitive to sounds, nervous around new dogs, and unsure of herself in group settings. She had a traumatic start to life, so I was really hoping to find a safe, supportive place where she could slowly come out of her shell.
From day one, the coaches and staff at Dogtopia were incredible. They were gentle, patient, and attentive to Cali’s unique needs. They didn’t force her to interact or push her boundaries, they let her warm up on her own timeline, which I so appreciated. The staff consistently communicated how she was doing, and that gave me so much peace of mind.
Now? Cali is thriving. She’s confident, social, and plays the entire day with the other dogs. It brings me so much joy to see her tail up, her body language relaxed, and her personality shining through. Her transformation is a true testament to the care and structure Dogtopia provides.
I especially love how the playgroups are monitored and structured. I’ve seen coaches gently intervene when needed, help dogs find compatible playmates, and redirect overstimulation quickly. Cali’s behavior at home and in other settings has improved too…..She’s more balanced, less anxious, and more playful overall.
Thank you, Dogtopia, for helping Cali blossom into the happy, secure dog she was always meant to be. We’re forever grateful.

We found Dashing Doggies as they are close by, so we called and made an appointment! We were not disappointed! They had great availability, the price was in line what we had been paying at a salon, and most importantly, for us, we needed to have someone come to us. It was a great experience! We have two dogs and they both were groomed. They both look adorable! They were both overdue for a grooming and John and Tomoko worked their magic and turned our little stinkers into our little darlings again! Thank you John and Tomoko/Dashing Doggies! :)

18837 Hawthorne Blvd, TorranceI can't say enough about the amazing team at BARC. My senior French Bulldog Kirby goes for physical therapy and acupuncture and they have provided top notch care. She recently had an IVDD flare up and bounced right back which I believe is due to the care she has received during preventative PT and accupuncture sessions. It's amazing to see my dog getting bursts of puppy energy due to the program here. Everyone on staff is always so perceptive to the pets' needs as they evolve. The entire team is also simply wonderful, caring, and kind. They have created a very positive environment. Thank you BARC!

Eye Care for Animals - Torrance
2551 W 190th St, TorranceI have never met Dr. Fahrer in person since we started visiting here in the pandemic, but she has diagnosed and cared for my dog’s two eye problems and she and the staff there have been very kind and helpful. My dog’s eyes looked terrible and were itchy even though We had seen two vets for his eyes prior, but once we went to Eye Care for Animals, he was diagnosed and has drops that have improved him to the point that his eyes look good and don’t seem to bother him any longer. Much appreciated! They are only in Torrance on Monday just FYI.

I was honestly very anxious about bringing my dog here because of some negative reviews I had read about the place and the veterinarian. However, my experience was completely the opposite, and I was truly impressed.
From the moment we arrived, everyone was wonderful. The veterinarian, the nurses, and the entire staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and caring. They treated my dog with so much love and professionalism, and I felt supported and listened to the whole time.
They were able to properly identify my dog’s problem, and now we finally have a clear treatment plan moving forward. That alone gave me so much peace of mind.
Yes, the price is a bit higher than average, but it is absolutely worth it. You can tell they really know what they’re doing and genuinely care about the animals they treat. My dog was extremely well taken care of — truly, very well.
I left feeling very happy, relieved, and impressed with their professionalism. I would definitely recommend this place and would not hesitate to come back.

Yes, it is bare bones but don't let that scare you. Each dog has an indoor/outdoor private run and it is a great price. My dog is sooo happy every time we arrive because she loves all the people that work there. Melinda at the front desk knows her by name and we always feel welcomed. 4045 190th St, TorranceI can't believe I never wrote a review about my wonderful experience with Stacie! It has been about over a year and half since our last training session. I have a now 11 year old dog named Shin-Shin who we got as a puppy and was not trained properly. He was aggressive towards every living thing that wasn't a main family member but I knew he was a sweetie inside and wanted others to experience his kinder side. I took 8 training sessions and while he may not be perfect being as his old habits have stuck a bit, he's much more manegeable. My partner, who doesn't live with me, has admitted that he's like a different dog now. Before Shin-Shin made my partner nervous and always looked ready to attack but can now cuddle with him. It takes a lot of patience and observation to understand a dog and surely a lesson learned for any future pets I may have in the future. Stacie was so easy and friendly to work with utilizing positive and fun reinforcements only! She truly cares about the wellbeing of the relationship between the dog and human. Would go back to her in an instant if needed, highly recommend!!!
