She'll take careful notes so if you have certain likes/dislikes be sure to let her know. I tend to ask for a non-standard Schnauzer cut that has evolved over the years. Most importantly, I feel completely comfortable leaving my dog in her care.

We needed to find a groomer pretty quickly and Lovely Dog came up in the top 5 in our area in Redondo. Sarah and team were friendly, professional and provided options for Kona. Their location was easily accessible and their assessment and treatment of our lab was top notch. We are life long dog owners and as we all are, want the best for our pups. My poor baby is almost 15 yrs old and has arthritis in her back. She did the most thorough exam I think I've ever had. She offered me multiple options to help with some of the concerns I had. She even prioritized things for me and wasn't pushy about doing all of it now knowing that I don't have a lot of money. 18512 Hawthorne Blvd, TorranceDr. Abigail Elliot and the Country Hills team are the best! Not only do they lovingly care for my own indoor cats, they recently helped us with an outdoor stray cat that we had unofficially adopted.
Curly Boy showed up on our doorstep night after night for months. He had no collar, and it seemed as though he was abandoned. For over a year, we fed him and even housed him in our heated front porch cathouse. He would spend all of his time in our yard and cuddling with us on our outdoor couch. We came to love him very much, as if he was our own.
One day came that we noticed he was injured and had a bad limp, so we made the decision to bring him inside in order to protect him from predators. We made an appointment with Dr. Elliot to have him examined later in the week. Meanwhile, he spent his days filled resting in comfort on our bed and watching TV with us. He adapted to indoor life well and he was living the life of Riley. Slowly, but surely getting better.
We brought him to Dr. Elliot and she carefully examined him, finding that he had improved since we had brought him inside. While we were there, we wanted to have him scanned for a microchip as well. He had seemed domesticated, we knew he was fixed, but all other signs led us to believe he had been abandoned. Sure enough, he had a chip!
As it turned out, he HAD been abandoned… although, not intentionally. His name was Kylo and his owners once lived on the next street over from us. He had gone missing two years prior, and sadly the owners had to move away 6 months after that. For us, that was around the time he started hanging around more often. Poor little guy was homeless, so he latched onto us tightly.
Anyway, Dr. Elliot spent a good amount of time examining Curly Boy a.k.a. Kylo, she offered medical advice, and helped us locate the long-lost owners. She even allowed us to wait past closing time to meet with the owners, and all of it was free of charge.
It’s very clear to us that Dr. Elliot cares deeply about animals. She is very professional and compassionate. I will always trust her with my fur babies. Thank you Dr. Elliot & Team!
P.S. As for the owners, they were shocked to discover that he was alive and well. He had belonged to a 12 year-old girl, who was devastated when he went missing. The girl is 14 now, and she cried tears of joy to have her Kylo back. It was a very happy ending for Kylo and his girl! ♥️

She recently had an IVDD flare up and bounced right back which I believe is due to the care she has received during preventative PT and accupuncture sessions. It's amazing to see my dog getting bursts of puppy energy due to the program here. Everyone on staff is always so perceptive to the pets' needs as they evolve. 2551 W 190th St, TorranceI have never met Dr. Fahrer in person since we started visiting here in the pandemic, but she has diagnosed and cared for my dog’s two eye problems and she and the staff there have been very kind and helpful. My dog’s eyes looked terrible and were itchy even though We had seen two vets for his eyes prior, but once we went to Eye Care for Animals, he was diagnosed and has drops that have improved him to the point that his eyes look good and don’t seem to bother him any longer. Much appreciated! They are only in Torrance on Monday just FYI.

Yes, it is bare bones but don't let that scare you. Each dog has an indoor/outdoor private run and it is a great price. My dog is sooo happy every time we arrive because she loves all the people that work there. Melinda at the front desk knows her by name and we always feel welcomed. I have a now 11 year old dog named Shin-Shin who we got as a puppy and was not trained properly. He was aggressive towards every living thing that wasn't a main family member but I knew he was a sweetie inside and wanted others to experience his kinder side. I took 8 training sessions and while he may not be perfect being as his old habits have stuck a bit, he's much more manegeable. My partner, who doesn't live with me, has admitted that he's like a different dog now. Before Shin-Shin made my partner nervous and always looked ready to attack but can now cuddle with him. It takes a lot of patience and observation to understand a dog and surely a lesson learned for any future pets I may have in the future. Stacie was so easy and friendly to work with utilizing positive and fun reinforcements only! She truly cares about the wellbeing of the relationship between the dog and human. Would go back to her in an instant if needed, highly recommend!!!

My wife was looking for a funky beer and we checked their availabile draft list online and saw a bunch of beers that fit the description. We were greeted by a friendly staff, ample seating inside and out, and a bbq food truck offering food options.
We got a few tastings of fruited beers including a fizzy white peach, apricot farmhouse style ale, and a plum saison style. They were all tart and delicious! We got a couple of pints to enjoy at the tasting room. I was also really impressed by their togo beer prices. Four packs were about $14-18 depending on style. This is pretty low for 4-packs in my experience. We'll def be checking it out again.

I'm just not sure. They specialize in barrel-fermented sour beers here. Although personally, I can't say those are my favorite types of bears, I found plenty of them from this place that I really enjoyed. The folks here are very friendly, and I think a few of my friends are personal friends of the people here. The vibe was super chill on my visit. This was my first trip to the new location and it was for a special raclette night - which they have from time to time and I missed the last one at the old location. I ordered the raclette platter (potatoes, caramelized onions, mushrooms, pickled peppers) with prosciutto. it was so delicious and especially for a very reasonable price. I got to enjoy it with some of their beers which pair really well. I even got to try one of their newer beers that they just produced and was less acidic and sour than their usual offerings. I really enjoyed that one a lot!

Futomaki is the traditional Japanese style sushi with cucumber, egg, and seaweed that remind me a lot like the sushi I had in Japan, very authentic. Inari is fresh and rice is cooked well that is very refreshing. Deluxe sushi comes with variety of fish and we love the yellowtail, tuna, and salmon while all of them are fresh and delicious. The most important thing the price is very reasonable and might be even cheaper than many fast food combo meal. If you are around the area and craving for authentic Japanese sushi, this is the Must Go place.
P.S. The owner is big baseball fan so it has tons of baseball bobblehead for you to tour around when waiting.
